The shock of AI introduction
| Викидим is taking a short wikibreak and will be back on Wikipedia soon. |

As a group, we are clearly past the denial stage and are in a fully blown anger. Whether we like it or not, AI is with us to stay. Just ask anyone who, like me, uses it for real work. I am taking a break in a hope to see the bargaining stage here eventually.
A Luddite had wiped the page clean,
In a win for the anti-machine!
Grokipedia scanned,
Every word he had banned,
And posted it back on the screen!
Past tense
- My nickname is a Cyrillic projection of a Greek: Βικιδημος portmanteau, something along the lines of Greek: Νικόδημος ("victorious people", cf. Nicodemus). It is pronounced somewhere along the lines of "Wiki-dim" (pun intended) and should mean "[of] wikipeople". If you have hard time finding Cyrillics on your keyboard, feel free to address me as Wikidemus or even Wikidim.

- I have been writing articles for Wikipedia in multiple languages since either 2005 or 2006, starting with English one too long ago to pinpoint an exact date, and switched mostly to Russian in 2007. The editing of Wikipedia in Russian became tiresome for me in 2021 due to an extensive off-wiki coordination of a few colleagues who effectively changed the conflict resolution process very much not to my liking.[1]This is not just my issue, the result of this group's activity can be clearly seen in the number of editors active in content creation dwindling, see this graph (the bottom line is a control group, it depicts the number of editors that are active in non-content activities). For my personal opinion on the causes, see User:Викидим/Discord from Discord.
- Historically I have used multiple accounts, originally to separate my contributions by languages[2] and later by subjects. These were and are used strictly within WP:SOCKLEGIT, with no restrictions applied ever to any one of them, except for this account (and even in this case never even remotely related to the article content). In an unlikely case a legitimate question will arise, I have no problem discussing my alternate accounts with the local powers that be.

To do
A big rework of the list
Due to the changes in WP:AIARTICLE any meaningful use of AI in English Wikipedia became impossible (sans the translation). I am not a luddite by nature (I truly love good tools), so riding this wave is impossible for me, thus for now I will concentrate on translating the texts. Digging a trench with a shovel when the mini excavator is available is definitely not fun (I already have a real job, where I actually forced the use of AI). This new list will contain only subjects that (1) interest me and (2) somebody bothered to write an article in some other language thus enabling me to use a loophole. The new list was automatically generated, and will be fixed slowly.

- When I Get Low, I Get High (looking for sources that are not hemp-oriented, as seems to be frequently the case, , , , , , ). This is a jazz "standard", after all, someone should have paid serious attention to it. , , An expert on Ella Fitzgerald is Will Friedwald, cf. his comments on A Tisket, A Tasket. Score: , recording: , discography , book "Becoming Ella Fitzgerald" (in many libraries)
- I Didn't Like It the First Time - even more amazing dearth of sources. (food as metaphor common to Julia Lee), some think the "spinach" is a reefer (, , ), although the lyrics clearly suggests sex (, and agree), double entendre (, even triple, p. 37: "I Didn't Like It The First Time" a.k.a. "The Spinach Song" can be considered a rare example of triple entendre, since spinach conveyed a reference to opium as well as sex )

Electricity
- Curtailment (electricity) has a strong VRE tilt, relationship between Feed-in tariff, Negative pricing and curtailment.

- Load-frequency control
- Rating (electrical) (see the talk page): Voltage rating + Current rating (currently redirects to Ampacity, which is not really the same). The current text is about Rating plate
- POI, PCC, POS, POM for interconnections (most likely, a single article - Grid connection? Power plant connection?). See , , , , "is an electrical tie", "is the first link of electric energy transport", "a connection between a real property and the distribution grid" (last link?), "the physical connection of a RES-E power plant or a number of RES-E power plants (eg a wind farm) to the nearest connection point", "a connection of a system to the said grid", "a connection between a generating station and a transmission system or distribution system", "a process in which a steam turbine generator unit is connected to an electric grid after it reaches its running rotation"
