Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue on the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, MW(tc) 19:35, 3 April 2026 (UTC)

Than you! I've already edited 2 pages, and also submitted a draft for review, it's about the history of the logo of the Beatles! Cheers, - BeatleManiaYT (talk) 22:59, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
Good luck with the draft! If you’d like to work with like-minded editors, I’d highly recommend joining WP:WikiProject The Beatles. Some great people there! MW(tc) 07:45, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: The Beatles' logo history (April 4)

Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, VortexPhantom, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:The Beatles' logo history to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.

Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, ScalarFactor, left the following feedback:
This draft appears to be generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You should not use LLMs to generate article content.

LLM-generated pages with the below issues may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:The Beatles' Logo to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.

Drafts

Information icon Hello, BeatleManiaYT, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in draft space, such as Draft:The Beatles' Logo are not allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:DRAFTNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories so long as it is outside mainspace, and this is not an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore.

You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here.

As the page has had to be pulled out of categories three times in four days, do not readd it to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption if it doesn't stop, such as page protection or deletion and/or the temporary or permanent suspension of your editing privileges. Bearcat (talk) 12:52, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

Please do not remove Articles for Creation notices such as decline notices from drafts. Thanks, --bonadea contributions talk 18:52, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Draft:The Beatles' Logo, you may be blocked from editing. .

Again, stop removing templates from the draft. bonadea contributions talk 20:56, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

I restored the AFC decline template again, please stop removing it as instructed above. LizardJr8 (talk) 22:13, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

Replaceable non-free use File:Paul McCartney Beatles Block Logo 1960.webp

Thanks for uploading File:Paul McCartney Beatles Block Logo 1960.webp. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:32, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:40, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

Drafts

I am going to go over the rules one final time, because you're clearly not getting it.

  1. As I already told you above, drafts are not allowed to be filed in categories as if they were already finished articles in mainspace. Drafts must stay out of categories, and this is not an optional or flexible rule where you're free to make your own decisions.
  2. As multiple other editors already told you above as well, you are not permitted to remove past AFC reviews from the page. Those must stay on the page, and it is not your prerogative to remove them.

Since multiple editors have already told you how the rules work and yet I still had to pull the page out of categories and restore the first AFC review again just now, I've been left with no choice but to temporarily editprotect the page so that you can't edit it at all. I'm willing to remove the protection if you acknowledge that you understand the rules, but you must confirm that you understand, and it will be reapplied again if you break the rules again. You must respect and follow the process, and are not entitled to bypass it yourself by putting a draft into categories, or removing AFC reviews, before the draft has been accepted by a reviewer.
