I will try to help by explaining the process and suggesting the right thing to do according to my knowledge. At first, the article is created in 2018 in this page : Ahmed AlNeaimy then deleted after a deletion discussion : Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ahmed_AlNeaimy and the page is protected from creation.
Trying to recreate an article which is deleted per deletion dicussion as in this page : Ahmed_AlNeaimy_(programmer) is not the right thing to do in Wikipedia.
It's deleted again and the page is protected which is expected.
To create an article in Wikipedia about a computer programmer we must prove that he is (Notable). At first don't take this personal. You may be very great programmer, but to have an article about you in Wikipedia, we need (3) things
(1) Achievements - Read this section WP:CREATIVE - for example "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews." - If that thing already have a Wikipedia article (This will be very helpful).
(2) Significant-coverage in reliable secondary resources about the article topic itself. This means multiple resources about Ahmed himself that talk about him - something like many paragraphs written in books or newspapers for example. Not just a passing mention in a technical article.
(3) No Conflict of Interest - To have fair content about the subject, the article is expected to be written by other people (not Ahmed, not anyone who have personal connection with him).
Summary The article is deleted because the first and the second conditions are not satisfied. In the future when these secondary resources that talk about Ahmed in details exist, and when one of his projects becomes notable, it will be more easy to have a Wikipedia article. In this case someone else (not Ahmed) can start by writing a draft, then submitting it through (Articles for Creation) process. Charmk (talk) 21:06, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

Jai programming language situation
Hi Charmk,
I noticed your edit on the Timeline of programming languages and your work on a previous draft of Jai (by Jonathan Blow). I find the situation about the Jai language quite curious, particularily in comparison to Mojo and its creator (Chris Lattner). Arguably, they are both in similar categories of notability, in terms of personally and the language(s) they have created. Yet, Mojo has an article and Jai does not.
Wikipedia lists the Jai (programming language) language to be found by search engines (which then redirects to Jonathan's page) and references the Jai programming language (at least here- Jai and here- Jonathan and Jai), so I can see how new editors or casual readers encountering the topic can get confused about the situation. Thus this could be the cause of them attempting to update programming related articles with Jai information.
There is an argument that the language is being treated strangely, because of how it's listed for search engines and then redirected, and it would seem to be more informative to have an article or at least a stub (and include the link to Jonathan's page). From conducting a casual search, there does seem possibly enough for you to give it another shot.Wukuendo (talk) 18:00, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
- Wukuendo Jai still under development and Jonathan provides Beta access to a small group of developers. We can't create a Wikipedia article about Jai if it's not released for public and covered by reliable and independent sources after release. These sources must provide significant coverage too. Conflict of interest
Hello, Charmk. - SmartSE As a native Arabic speaker from the Middle East, and because his projects are the only open‑source programming‑language projects developed in the region and used internationally, I used to see him as a hero. But after learning that he created an account to promote his own projects on Wikipedia, I found that to be a foolish decision. From the discussions, it was clear he was young at the time and unfamiliar with Wikipedia’s rules. He was trying to promote his free software through Wikipedia, which is not acceptable. Creating multiple accounts was also a poor choice, especially since it can easily be detected through IP checks. If he really did that, there are two possibilities: either he didn’t understand basic networking—which would be surprising for someone who created a programming language—or several fans happened to be using the same network. I am an active Wikipedia editor, and I use only this account. Over the past eight years, I have contributed more than 6,000 edits. While I may be enthusiastic about certain topics, every article I have written follows a neutral point of view, includes references from multiple independent sources, and adheres to guidance from other Wikipedia editors. I have also included criticism sections where appropriate and submitted articles through Articles for Creation to ensure proper review. Being blocked and having four of my articles deleted (out of the seven I created, in addition to many I have improved) does not seem fair. I respectfully request that you lift the block on my account and review each deleted article to determine whether it meets Wikipedia’s standards. - SmartSE Please, I am not responsible for his past actions. I discovered the Ring language and its related projects through Arabic YouTube videos, and I found them interesting. Like tens of thousands of others who follow his work and news, I followed him on Facebook. It is possible that reading many of his posts influenced some of my decisions when contributing to Wikipedia. I am sorry for that. However, I always tried to follow Wikipedia’s rules and relied on reliable references when writing.
- I kindly request that you remove the block from my Wikipedia account. I will avoid editing topics related to him, and I will continue contributing to other subjects as I have done over the past eight years.
- I also ask that you review the deleted articles and make the decision that best serves Wikipedia. Articles written from a neutral point of view and that meet the general notability guideline and passed (Articles for Creation) review process deserve a place on Wikipedia, and you are welcome to revise or improve any content that does not follow Wikipedia’s style.
- Additionally, I will state on my user page that I previously followed him on social media and read messages in the Ring Group, which may have influenced my writing style. This will help other editors review my old contributions more carefully for the benefit of Wikipedia. Wikipedia has been a meaningful part of my life, and I want to remain part of it.

- SmartSE When I first wrote the Ring article, it went through a deletion discussion. Other editors advised me that the topic was not considered notable at that time, but that PWCT was notable and would likely meet the GNG if the article focused on PWCT instead. I listened to their advice, found many reliable sources about PWCT, and the article ultimately passed the deletion discussion with a Keep result based on other editors’ evaluations.
- Later, more sources became available for the Ring article, so I submitted it through Articles for Creation. Again, editors advised that the available sources were still insufficient, and I accepted their feedback. Years later, when additional independent sources appeared, I shared them with reviewers, and the article finally passed the AfC review.
- Throughout this process, I believed I was helping Wikipedia, learning from experienced editors, and gaining editorial skills. Having articles about PWCT and Ring—both created by the same developer—encouraged me to write an article about him as well, using independent sources. Since I followed him on social media (without any direct contact), I occasionally discovered new sources when he shared books or news about his projects, which helped me update the articles.
- I now understand the issue: I created multiple articles about closely related subjects and projects, and I recognize how this can raise concerns. I will not repeat this pattern.
- I am requesting the following:
- 1. A second chance, with a clear commitment not to write about these topics again. I am willing to note on my user page that I was previously a strong fan of the Ring/PWCT projects.

- SmartSE Thank you so much, I use only one Wikipedia account. My goal has never been to promote any subject; I simply write about topics that interest me while following Wikipedia’s guidelines. I am a native Arabic speaker, so the topics I worked on were naturally interesting to me. I live in Saudi Arabia, and because of my job requirements I often use multiple public and private internet networks across the city.
- I have explained everything in good faith regarding the COI concerns and the articles I created. I trust you and the experienced administrators to review the situation fairly. I always follow expert advice and try to learn from it. I am not asking for too much—just a second chance for someone who has contributed to the project for eight years. Your G5'd articles could then even be restored on request, unless the responding admin has some reason to hesitate in any specific case. It's possible that the responding admin would accept an unblock, with a conditional topic ban from Mahmoud Fayed and projects worked on by Mahmoud Fayed. I understand that my editing pattern created the appearance of coordinated promotion, and I recognize why this raised serious concerns even though that was never my intention; I also acknowledge that my strong interest in PWCT, Ring, and related topics amounted to a conflict of interest that I should have disclosed earlier. While I cannot independently verify the technical details behind the checkuser findings, I can explain that my work requires me to use several shared and public networks across my city, including workplace and institutional connections, which may produce overlapping IP characteristics. I accept responsibility for how my editing behavior was interpreted, and to ensure that this situation does not recur, I am prepared to avoid creating new articles for a period and focus on general maintenance and improvements so administrators can be confident that my future participation will remain fully aligned with Wikipedia’s policies.
