Notification for awareness of discretionary sanctions area

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. Your submission at Articles for creation: Michael A. Aquino (September 13)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Doric Loon was:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This really needs a couple more reliable sources. The one interview with Aquino (footnote 1) is a good start, but it is a fairly small journal. If he appeared on Oprah, there would be some newspaper coverage confirming that. Incidentally, it would help a lot if the footnotes used the proper cite web or cite news templates - then we could easily see what is persuasive. Final point: I see this article is create-protected after having been deleted twice before. It would be a good idea to talk to an administrator about having that changed before resubmitting.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan)

Nice job expanding that article. I just want to bring MOS:CURLY to your attention. Please don't use this: “ or this: ’. Use this: " and this ' instead. And when you add references, they go after the period, not before. I cleaned up much of the article in those two respects. Masterhatch (talk) 13:20, 7 September 2025 (UTC)

Looking at some of the other edits you made, you seem to be doing it right now. Masterhatch (talk) 13:25, 7 September 2025 (UTC)

Article creation

Hello, I'm Pbritti! I've noticed your interest in creating articles, especially for subjects related to King's College, Halifax. While you seem to be very excited to contribute, I've also noticed a handful of issues with your articles that are worth directly addressing. Sometimes, you fail to properly source content. This takes the form of failing to properly add a citation for a statement (see this for why this is a very important thing to do). Other times, the sources you use are not reliable or not independent of the subject. While not every cited source has to be of the highest quality nor wholly independent from the subject, it is almost always necessary to identify at least a few of these sources and to cite them when creating an article. This is especially important when writing about a living person (see this for an explanation). If you have any questions, please feel more than welcome to ask me. Best, ~ Pbritti (talk) 19:25, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

Neil Robertson (academic) moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Neil Robertson (academic). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources, it needs more sources to establish notability and present sources are insufficiently independent of the subject to establish NACADEMIC. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Pbritti (talk) 20:02, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Ricky Berwick when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Hello, De Insomniis,

Thank you for creating The Descent of the Dove: A Short History of the Holy Spirit in the Church.

Thanks for your contributions to The Descent of the Dove: A Short History of the Holy Spirit in the Church. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it consists of machine-generated text and without page numbers on book sources, it makes it very difficult to verify claims made in the article. Speedy deletion nomination of Robert C. Tuck

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Robert C. Tuck requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, as it exhibits signs of having been generated by an AI model with no clear human review. Text produced by these applications is prohibited on Wikipedia. For further information, see section G15 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think these signs were incorrectly identified and you assert that you did carefully check the content, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additionally – if you would like to create an article but find it difficult, please ask for help at the Teahouse. Dclemens1971 (talk) 16:27, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
