Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ryeoun, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:34, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Shin Ye-eun, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 17:32, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Understanding what sources not to use
Hello, thank you for your edits. However, please be aware that there are certain sources that Wikipedia deems reputable and non-reputable, which can be found at WP:KO/RS. Most of the sources you have been using are non-reputable, therefore they have been reverted. Also, follow MOS:PUFFERY while writing, or else your edits will be removed as well. Thank you for your understanding. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 04:24, 19 May 2024 (UTC)

- Hello there. I understand the guidelines Wikipedia has to offer with citing sources. However, I am confused about what and what not to do when citing credible sources. Can you please tell me how I can improve with citing sources?
- For example, if I want to make a separate filmography page for an actor and I move their credibility sources to that page, do I have to recheck their sources to make sure if it is outdated or not? I look at Wikipedia citing sources page and its a bit confusing for me. Is there a video tutorial info for beginners?

- Your edit was reverted because you didn't provide a reliable source. Search engine results page is not a reliable source. In addition, adding a source is not equals to providing a reliable source. As noted above by Nkon21, you should refer to WP:KO/RS for a list of reliable and unreliable sources, and do not add non-WP:NPOV materials containing MOS:PUFFERY language. Also, do not split article unnecessary as you have did on Baby Vox and Song Hye-kyo, this article isn't big enough to justify a split nor was there sufficient citations to support the content that is split regardless this actions is non-constructive. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 19:33, 4 July 2024 (UTC)

- On the last message relating to the topic of citing reliable sources, I acceptably understand my mistake and I will make sure what not to do in the future as far as my mistakes can go.
- I am emailing in regards to in concern with citing sources and how I can ask for your advice. One thing I want to know is how to cite old information about a particular music group such as Baby V.O.X. even though some of their sites are old and outdated since they were active around the 90s/2000s. If I wanted to cite an old source claiming the credibility of the person even though those sources are old archives, how do I do that?
- Another thing I wanted to ask is how to upload images from the internet to the Wikipedia page. How do I claim copyright of the person publishing the photo? I looked at the policy and it says I have to contact them in email. However, most of the photos I tried to upload were about more than 20 years ago around the 90s in south korea. Around that time the K-pop wave wasn't big and it's unknown who took the photos of those idols. How do I contact them if I don't even know if they are alive?
- I can tell you I got those images at websites such as K-pop wikipedia. F.xount (talk) 19:38, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- Firstly, if an editor replied to you on this talk page for instance, and you have a further queries pertaining to the same topic then you should also reply here instead of opening another discussion elsewhere. Secondly, there is no differences in citing information for materials regardless of timeframe. If the information isn't sourceable then as per WP:NOT and WP:BURDEN, it shouldn't be included here. Thirdly, similarly for images, there is no differences in the licensing regardless of timeframe, read Commons:Licensing and Commons:COM:ROK, if no images fit the criteria then it shouldn't be uploaded. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 05:34, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Le Sserafim. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 07:21, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- I tried to create a Wikipedia for the specific person Kazuha. I found out someone already did just by the time I already completed the wiki even though there were no evidential links of the person, Kazuha to easily look them up. I didn’t know they had created and if they did, I wouldn’t had created a duplicate. The link that I recently submitted on le sserafim, that was another person who created that wiki profile of Kazuha.
- I would like to send you the link of the wiki page I created and show you, and check from your perspective if there were any vandalism that I may have crossed due in terms of Wikipedia standards. Please let me know. And if future references, which Korean websites do I not use since I always get conflicted.

- @F.xount I'm interested in your excuse, you were told to STOP but chosen to WP:IDHT instead. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 17:27, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- As an professional editor such as yourself, how can I tell that the website source is reliable and how can I use that source to convey it towards wiki standards?
- How can I use those facts on a famous actor that I recently found out (such as the detail of the role they portrayed and how they got into it), and use them in a clear, concessive format? How can I explain the aspect of their public image they are represented from the media? I noticed there are sources from articles explaining in details of the famous persons public image, however there is no mention on their wiki page and as a user on wiki, I want to contribute to their page explaining how they are represented towards the media.
- I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I know I keep vandalizing to the point where I should have been blocked. I never meant to intentionally put myself in this situation and I am not saying this as an excuse, more from explaining my POV.
- If there is a video turtial of how wikipedia should be handled such as uploading pictures or how to correctly cite articles, please let me know. Some of the articles on the wikipedia can get confusing for me and its overwhelming in my position. Farahsaxount (talk) 17:45, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello, F.xount, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Farahsaxount (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. - Good day,
- I want you to know that I do have two wiki accounts. However, i was unaware that I have more than one since i tend to lose track of my accounts and passwords in the past and assumed the recent one has been deleted. However, I tried to delete one of my wiki accounts after finding out but since the policy of wikipedia wont allow me to. Please forgive me. I noticed i will be solely responsible for blocking and i will gladly accept it. Farahsaxount (talk) 17:32, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

- For future reference, whenever I plan to publish an edit (create a filmography, discography page or even a wiki page) or upload an photo on wiki, can I email you for permission and check in your behalf if the work is acceptable?
- I tried my best to contribute towards Wikipedia and whenever I attempt to create or when I suuccedingly think I create it, my hopes are shambled. That’s why I would like your permission next time. It’s up to you if you want to agree or not. F.xount (talk) 19:58, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- In short, No as it's not my responsibility to guide you. When you're reverted, such as this which clearly stated a reasoning i.e. you added WP:SPS which is considered as unreliable source, you shouldn't had proceeded to WP:IDHT and revert, this is considered as disruptive editing. I would suggest that you stop doing any editing and go read up on English Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, including clicking through each blue links and reading through to build up your editing fundamentals. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 20:16, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello, just a heads up that the Korean romanization on Murky Stream was incorrect. Hi F.xount. Thank you for your work on Nation's First Love. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thanks for the new article on a cultural concept in South Korea. It's mostly a list or a 'set index article', so from here, to make it a more complete article, it would be helpful to see a greater expansion in content related to the phenomenon of 'Nation's First Love'. For example, see the content at It girl for a similar type of page.

- I am willing to cooperate fully, including a CheckUser review if necessary. I respectfully ask for clarification and a second look at this matter.

- Only one open request is needed at a time. I also fixed unintentional errors introduced by using the Reply function, its automatic indent and signing interferes with other formatting. Please talk to us without using an AI, so we know that you understand this matter and are not just posting what an AI spits out.
- Checkusers do not perform reviews on request, see WP:CHECKME. As noted, you edited while logged out- this automatically creates what is called a "temporary account". 331dot (talk) 10:25, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
- I understand now that editing while logged out created a temporary account. I didn’t realize that at the time. I was not trying to use multiple accounts or evade anything. I apologize for the confusion and will make sure to stay logged in going forward. F.xount (talk) 10:36, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

- F.xount, here's the problem you're facing:
- Both times you've been blocked, you immediately logged out and continued to edit on the same topic (as any TAIV editor can confirm). And you certainly knew you were blocked, especially the second time, since you edited while logged out exclusively after you filed an unblock request for this account and it was denied.
- In addition, once your first block in January expired and you could edit again on this account, the logged out edits suddenly stopped. And they only started up again a month later, after you were blocked this time.
- Unfortunately, the result is that you've turned a couple relatively minor sanctions into an indefinite block. And then you compounded the problem by having a chatbot write an implausible unblock request for you; absolutely nobody is going to believe that another random person somehow using your internet connection just happened to edit all the same articles as you did immediately after you were blocked.
- As I've advised many other editors who have gotten their editing rights restored in similar situations, the quickest and surest way to return to editing is to be fully honest. You may already be at the stage where following the WP:OFFER may be required for an administrator to trust you again, but that'll be an admin's call, not mine. - I understand why the timing and similarities look intentional. I can see why that raises serious concerns. However, I did not knowingly edit while blocked and did not attempt to evade the block. I also understand that my earlier appeal didn’t help the situation. I’m not trying to argue — just to clarify that there was no intent to deceive. If you’re not comfortable unblocking me, I respect that decision. F.xount (talk) 13:16, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
- Oh well, I tried. This is clearly LLM written, and it doubles down on an implausible story. I wish you the best in your future endeavors. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 15:07, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

- This is not convincing in light of the LLM responses. More troubling is the fact that an unblock request was filed only 124 minutes after a one-week block was imposed, and that request was rejected. It is also clear that WP:THEYCANTHEARYOU is not relevant here, given that responses are often immediate, which suggests this talk page is being actively monitored. Despite this, two days later, well before the block had expired, the account, which was still blocked and had its unblock request rejected, was now somehow able to make multiple edits and restore the exact same content with the exact same edit summary, while claiming no knowledge of having done so. This strongly implies a lack of honesty. — 🧧🍊 Paper9oll 🍊🧧 (🔔 • 📝) 10:45, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

- I’m sorry I don’t even know what you’re implying. I still never made another account. I like some evidence. F.xount (talk) 23:20, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
- You may not have realised when you logged out, the system made a new temporary account which you used. PokémonPerson 20:45, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
