Pastoral: To Die in the Country

Impressive work on Pastoral: To Die in the Country. If you are going to continue expanding it, information on casting, filming, and themes will need to be added, in addition to expanding existing sections. Been watching that article for a while now, Japanese art-house films are always a fascinating journey to dive into. Paleface Jack (talk) 17:57, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

thank you very much! i've been struggling to find literary resources which explicitly outline filming, and there are a few japanese-language resources that're pretty much locked off from me. i'm hoping to continue expanding based on new resources i find! 9koyami (talk) 17:59, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Sometimes the Japanese wikipiedia is a good resource. I would also look into searching the title in japanese and see what shows up, that is, if you understand the language. Paleface Jack (talk) 20:28, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
i've been expanding the film's production, including casting & filming, according to terayama's screenplay. if at any point you decide to pop in and spot any MoS violations i might've accidentally made, feel free to correct them! this is my first article and peer review by anyone else is greatly appreciated. unfortunately, i don't speak/understand japanese, but i've been taking great care to properly OCR & translate relevant japanese passages. 9koyami (talk) 21:01, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
i like how literally 20 minutes after i complain about being unable to find the resources, i find the fucking official screenplay book with everything i need. god damnit 9koyami (talk) 18:24, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
@9koyami: Found some American web sources:

currently not working on the pastoral article (working on finishing my first GA nomination, Minecraft Manhunt) but thank you for bringing these to my attention! 9koyami (talk) 01:26, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
@9koyami:Good luck. I am here if you require assistance. Paleface Jack (talk) 00:53, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

DYK for Minecraft Manhunt

On 17 March 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Minecraft Manhunt, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a YouTuber pays cash bounties for his friends to hunt him down in Minecraft? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Minecraft Manhunt. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Minecraft Manhunt), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

A question about dark mode?

Since last night, I've been experiencing a technical issues on my dark mode when each image on Wikipedia became inverted (or negative) and fixing it has really been unsuccessful (My Google Chrome hasn't been conflicting with color themes on websites). Oddly, it only worked when I was logged out. Oddly, it occasionally comes back normal, but once I reload it, it goes back to the same problem.

I just wanna ask you to test dark mode and see if it's really just a personal issue with my laptop, or if it's currently a technical issue on Wikipedia's dark mode. - RTSthestardust (talk) 03:43, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

do you happen to have another extension, like dark reader or something similar, on your browser? if yes, maybe that's conflicting? i don't really think i could help you out here because i don't have any issues like that on my end Kinnimeyu (talk) 03:45, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
Well that's weird. I'll see what I could do. Worst case scenario it could be my school laptop making issues with its own system. I'll check on my phone if it works with my account or not tomorrow. RTSthestardust (talk) 04:50, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sunglasses (Black Country, New Road song), a link pointing to the disambiguation page For the First Time was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
