Hi Norden!
I think it would be worth to check the strange edits of this user, some examples:

Hungarian Revolution of 1848
--Norden1990 (talk) 21:03, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Szia, már három 48 szabadságharcos cikket készítettem.
- 1. A régebbi, leghosszabbat (99 A4 oldal), amelyet hadjáratonként (őszi, téli, tavaszi, nyári) és előzmények és következményekként (a hadsereg megszervezése, fegyverletétel, a szabadságharc utóélete) külön cikkekre fogok felbontani és közzétenni.
- 2. Egy, ennek a negyedénél kissé nagyobb összefogó cikket (27 A4 oldal), amelyet egy, csak a szabadságharc katonai történetét bemutató külön cikknek ('Hungarian War of Independence of 1848-1849') szánok.
- 3. A legújabb (9 A4 oldalas), amelyet a 'Hungarian Revolution of 1848' cikk katonai részének szánok.
Sylvain1975 (talk) 16:29, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
--Norden1990 (talk) 20:01, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
- Szia, a román, szlovák, szerb, horvát részt egyelőre meghagyjuk. Sylvain1975 (talk) 14:45, 16 July 2025 (UTC)

Delete
Hi Norden! I see you created this, I think it is redundant and we could delete it as we have own articles with date Battle of Isaszeg. Many battles, sieges happened in the same location, but I do not see a group article like that, battle Lechfeld 910+955, siege Belgrade 1440+1456+1521 etc. What do you think? OrionNimrod (talk) 13:36, 4 July 2025 (UTC)

Ladislaus, bishop(s) of Vác
Hi! I noticed your recent creation Ladislaus (bishop of Vác). I was about to mark the article as reviewed but wanted to quickly verify everything. In doing so, I stumbled on Ladislaus Szalkai, who is claimed to have been a 16th-century bishop of Vác. At the minimum, I think we need to alter the disambiguation for your new article. However, I'm having trouble verifying that either man was a bishop of Vác. The classic stand-by of Catholic-Hierarchy (a useful albeit deprecated and problematic resource) mentions neither. If you have the ability to share quotes or any accessible links that support either man's episcopate, I think it would greatly improve either article. Thanks for your good work! Best, ~ Pbritti (talk) 22:02, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! Both of them were bishops of Vác based on modern archontologies. However, these are offline works. For Ladislaus Szalkai: , for the 13th-century Ladislaus: ("László (†1293?)"). --Norden1990 (talk) 22:24, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- Excellent—that's all good to go there! The only issue remaining that we should probably move Ladislaus (bishop of Vác) to something that disambiguates him from the other Ladislaus who was bishop of Vác. Since his death date is uncertain, that sort of rules that out. Any thoughts? ~ Pbritti (talk) 23:29, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- I have placed a disambiguation template at the beginning of the article. --Norden1990 (talk) 08:11, 31 July 2025 (UTC)

Hungarian War of Independence of 1848-1849
Szia, a tegnap draftba helyezték a szóban forgó átfogó cikkemet, hogy úgymond elég lesz a Hungarian Revolution of 1848 cikkben levő rövidebb leírás.

Wars
Hi, just for your information, some people mentioned the article length and the too extensive battle list, because this would be just a list of wars and not list of battles Talk:List of wars involving Hungary#Redundant battles so we decided to make the list of wars more simple focusing on wars, and we can make separate split articles where we can add battle/siege details, and the article length is more optimized with subarticles: List of wars involving Hungary
Example:

- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_battles_involving_France_in_modern_history (sieges also here)

Article names
Hi, I would like ask advice
1 Battle of the Ialomița#Background in the top section I write about the "raid on Krusevac" as in Palosfalvi/Jefferson book, how should I call the article, "battle of Krusevac" or "raid on Krusevac"?
2 Matthias, "siege of Boroszlo", what would be the proper name? Boroszlo? Breslau? Wroclaw? https://histori.ewk.hu/_userfiles_/histori/Matyas-Boroszlo.pdf
3 Matthias, "siege of Szabacs", what would be the proper article name? https://epa.oszk.hu/00000/00018/00058/pdf/EPA00018_hadtortenelmi_2009_01_036-061.pdf
Do we use contemporary names for medieval sieges? Or English literature name like Pressburg/Belgrade/Breadfield is prefered than the contemporary Hungarian name if those names exist in English literature? For example in English Palosfalvi book I also see battle of Kenyermezo and Vaskapu words. OrionNimrod (talk) 09:54, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hello!
- 1, I support "raid".
- 2, further research is needed to determine what variant is more common in English (Breslau or Wroclaw, but definitely not Boroszló).
- 3, "Šabac", since the area was not part of Hungary by the time of the siege, in addition to the fact that is more common than the Hungarian name.
- 4, There is no unified position, the most common version in English literature (if there is one) counts. I do not support naming battles according to current political borders, as it only causes confusion. Breadfield and Iron Gates are typically neutral names, shouldn't be messed with. --Norden1990 (talk) 10:33, 9 January 2026 (UTC)

When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

- That will happen someday. For now, my horizons extend to the Árpád era, or at most to the Anjou era. --Norden1990 (talk) 06:45, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

- Another family idea: Irinyi family János Irinyi
- The Irinyi family is an old Hungarian noble family of Szatmár County.[1][2][3] It took its name from the village of Iriny in the county, which it owned, and at the beginning of the 19th century the family also held joint ownership of several other settlements in the county. The ancestors of the family fought under King Ladislaus IV of Hungary at the Battle of Marchfeld in 1278, where they killed the enemy king Ottokar II of Bohemia, and captured his son alive. For this service, King Ladislaus IV granted them the estate of Iriny in Szatmár County in 1278. The family's coat of arms also refers to this event.[1][3] OrionNimrod (talk) 11:05, 24 August 2026 (UTC)

- Hi, can we fast expand Szabolcs? It was nominated for deletion OrionNimrod (talk) 08:14, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- Could you check the section before 1000? List of Hungarian monarchs OrionNimrod (talk) 14:04, 8 September 2026 (UTC)
- No source mentions that Ügyek was the ruler of the Hungarians. He was "just" a chieftain, and of course he was the father of Álmos. Levedi is the earliest known leader ("voivode") of the Hungarians. --Norden1990 (talk) 20:16, 8 September 2026 (UTC)

- Could you clarify of the dates of the double excommunication? Page 134 Illuminated Chronicle OrionNimrod (talk) 11:54, 16 September 2026 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, the dates for these have not survived; both likely took place in 1304. --Norden1990 (talk) 08:31, 18 September 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Mary, Queen of Hungary when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.
