Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Arvind Singh Sangwan when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Speedy deletion nomination of Abu Daoud al-Maghribi

A tag has been placed on Abu Daoud al-Maghribi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
Tagging an article
Hi, could you please explain to me why you added {{Notability}} in Amr Adib? This person is a well-notable personality and well-known in the Arab world, especially Egypt. You can google it and you will find many reliable sources, proving his notability. كريم أحمد (talk) 11:54, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
- The subject's notability has not been established. The sources provided by you, do not provide significant independent coverage and are insufficient to establish notability. Last of The Time (talk) 14:39, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Last of The Time I created it as a stub and anyone can extend it. The person himself already has significant independent coverage and is clearly notable. كريم أحمد (talk) 19:12, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
- and please remember that Notability is based on the existence of suitable sources, not on the state of sourcing in an article. كريم أحمد (talk) 19:18, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
- Also, Template:Notability itself mentions clearly:
so your reason for tagging is invalid. كريم أحمد (talk) 09:27, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Do not use this tag merely because the page requires significant work. Notability requires only that appropriate sources have been published about the subject. It does not require that any editor has already named these sources, followed the neutral, encyclopedic style, or otherwise written a good article.
- @Thepharoah17 please judge about the article's notability since Last of The Time didn't respond and I'm the creator of the article. كريم أحمد (talk) 21:22, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
