- Thank you for the encouragement. I have a question regarding solar power installations in India. There are two categories: solar parks and solar plants situated within these parks. While working on these topics, I have come to understand the importance of being careful and clear before drafting such pages. As someone with strong editing experience, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on which should be prioritized first: the parks or the individual plants within those parks? Charlie (talk) 15:07, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
- It's like asking if we can write articles about every ward of an Indian village/panchayat. In this case, we can create a separate article for each of these wards if they have a notable feature, such as a high population. However, suppose that the village already has a very small population, then creating articles for each of these wards would be pointless. Therefore, I propose that you start by creating articles about solar parks. If you believe any of the park's plants are notable on its own, then create article about it. If not, the content about them can be combined into the parent article itself. I hope you understood and I didn't make things more unclear. Thilsebatti (talk) 16:21, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello Thilsebatti:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page.

Draft:Malayinkeezhu Sree Krishna Swamy Temple
I have revised the draft and removed all unsourced content. The remaining sources are Kerala Tourism, News18 Malayalam, and keralam.me. Would this be sufficient for acceptance? Darkwizard007 (talk) 08:01, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
- Sources are still not enough to meet GNG. But a draft written using a chatbot is never going to get accepted into mainspace. Thilsebatti (talk) 08:25, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
- I spend a lot of time and work writing the first draft which was declined multiple times citing different issues. I did everything I could to make it perfect. There are Wikipedia pages with little to nothing as source and not even neutral points of view when it comes to temples. As I was writing an article in Wikipedia for the first time I took the articles about other such temples as an outline to write mine, but it was never accepted. So I took everything I wrote and asked a chatbot to make it as you guys wanted. I was just trying to support Wikipedia, but this is making it impossible. I know you review so many articles, but if you get time please lookup such Wikipedia articles and tell me what should I do.
- Sorry for the long reply Darkwizard007 (talk) 06:41, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your contributions. Just because other poor article exists does not give you the leverage to create poor articles. If you think other articles about temples are not good, you can add necessary maintenance tags or in the extreme case nominate it for deletion. If you have trouble regarding how to write an article, you can ask help from WP:TEAHOUSE. Regards. Thilsebatti (talk) 19:06, 4 July 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Meng Bing (entrepreneur)
Thanks for reviewing the draft. could you explain me a bit about the COI concern you flagged? I saw Kelvin1900's edit mentioned a "disclosed COI request" in the history. What should I be checking for going forward before moving drafts to mainspace? Balabush (talk) 18:15, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- I published a draft about Silvio Vujičić that was created by a user claiming to be him. Could you take a look and tell me if I should ask him for further disclosure or something similar? Balabush (talk) 18:18, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your contributions. Regarding Meng Bing apart from the paid editing concerns, I don't think the subject meets GNG criteria. Out of the existing sources in the draft only one seems to be good enough. I haven't fully gone through Silvio Vujičić since I'm not familiar with the languages in which the citations are mostly used. So I'm not going to comment about its notability. Since it is a draft with COI concern, it should be reviewed by an independent reviewer. This is normally done by someone with AFC rights. While no rule prevents any users from moving drafts into mainspace, my advice to you is to get more experience, then apply for AFC rights before working on any sensitive drafts. IMO, publishing Draft:Meng Bing (entrepreneur) into mainspace was not a good move. Having said this I strongly recommend you not to move any drafts with COI/UPE concerns into mainspace without getting AFC rights first especially those created by SPA. Regards. Thilsebatti (talk) 20:02, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks. I really appreciate the detailed feedback. I understand your concerns about GNG for Meng Bing, and in hindsight moving that draft into mainspace given the COI/UPE concerns wasn't the right call. I hear your advice about getting more experience and applying for AFC rights before handling sensitive drafts like this, and I'll take that seriously going forward. Thanks also for looking into Silvio Vujičić, even without being able to fully assess the sources. I'll try to learn more about these topics (GNG, COI handling, and the AFC process) so I can avoid similar issues in the future. Balabush (talk) 07:36, 7 July 2026 (UTC)

Regarding Draft Rejection
Thanks for reviewing my draft.
It's been written solely to create awareness among people of such great personalities who have spent their whole life serving people.
Vkartikwiki (talk) 10:30, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- First of all be civil. I cannot tolerate for you mentioning my action as atrocious. Secondly if you are talking about Draft:Vinayak Vedalaveni, I have never mentioned anywhere that it has UPE concerns. I declined your draft because it is written in a promotional way. If you think I made a mistake you are free to report it to respective venues. Regards. Thilsebatti (talk) 11:42, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- Well, if there is no UPE-COI concern, we're good and sorry for the comments, I've edited away my comments on UPE, still new to Wiki's User interface.
- Thilsebatti, I believe that most of the article is genuine and has a story to tell about rural India from the viewpoint of a rural banker, is it possible for you to point at specific lines where you find it promotional, I'd like to rectify it. I would like to take this to completion. The person of the article is neither a politician nor embraces any brand nor is a renowned public figure, so he is a simple man, not sure how the promotional angle will come into question. Vkartikwiki (talk) 11:19, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
- Well Wikipedia is not for telling stories. Everything you writes should be encyclopedia and neutral. I also cannot accept a draft which is written mostly using some AI. Read Help:Your first article inorder to write a better article. Thilsebatti (talk) 11:50, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
