Nereus
Hi PLBF61371, you recently moved the page "Nereus" to "Nereus (mythology)", writing in your edit summary that this was to "avoid confusion with Nereus the medicine". As you're a newer user, I'm not sure if you're aware of WP:Primary topics: in some cases, one topic is considerably more "important" than the others with the same name, meaning that disambiguation isn't needed. For example, while there are multiple people with the name "William Shakespeare", most people who search "William Shakespeare" will be looking for the English playwright, so his page is titled just "William Shakespeare". The primary topic is usually determined using pageviews and long-term significance (see WP:PT1 and WP:PT2); in this case, the article on the mythological figure received considerably more pageviews and probably had the greatest long-term significance. Because of this, I've reverted your move. If you were aware of primary topics, and you think the mythological figure isn't primary in this case, I would suggest starting a WP:Requested move. – Michael Aurel (talk) 13:19, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 24
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of city flags in South America, a link pointing to the disambiguation page São Mateus was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
