- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Foreign relations of Afghanistan, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. TEMPO156 (talk) 02:24, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- What are you talking about? It is an update. What sources do you need on? The fact that Afghanistan changed, and therefore a map showing relations of the pre-2021 government is redudant and/or needs to be addressed? PLMandarynka (talk) 23:31, 27 July 2025 (UTC)

- I believe i addressed the issue in that the topic does not need a citation as the information stated is quite obviously true. Either way i'm fine with it being reversed if it should be PLMandarynka (talk) 20:19, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- In English Wikipedia "quite obviously true" is not a reason to remove the citation request. Instead, if it is so obvious, you should have no trouble providing a citation. --Altenmann >talk 20:38, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- In this case it's hard to do so but i'll try PLMandarynka (talk) 10:14, 30 August 2025 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Deep state. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 19:10, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- You need to stop. There is an existing consensus of editors on the talk page that Hezbollah does not meet the criteria of a deep state; your sources do not refer to it as a deep state; and per WP:ONUS and WP:BRD the responsibility is on *you* to discuss and gain consensus for your disputed edits as you are the one seeking inclusion. You have not only failed to even attempt to do so, you are seemingly unaware that this matter has already been discussed and resolved. If you revert again, I'm bringing this to AN/I and seeking sanctions against you. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 19:12, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop inserting Hizbollah and the PMF into the infobox template for International military intervention against the Islamic State. As you've been repeatedly informed, you are required to provide reliable sources for your claims; you've failed to do this for Hizbollah, and your source provided for the PMF does not support the claim given -- and cannot, because the PMF (nor Hizbollah, for that matter) is not an international military and thus is not suitable for inclusion in the infobox under any circumstances. As a reminder, per WP:ONUS you are required to seek and gain consensus for disputed edits through discussion. Failure to do so will lead to being blocked from editing. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 14:58, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- Instead of backing down when you are confronted on being uneducated, you double down...
- It is very apparent knowledge that the PMF and Hezbollah have fought against ISIS, intervening into western Iraq and Syria respectively.
- Additionally i'd like you to provide your own definition for "international military" that does not cross out any other military force already listed in the textbox.
- I'll rather ask for you to stop because you are making a fool of yourself PLMandarynka (talk) 15:04, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- This is not difficult to grasp. The PMF is not the national military of any sovereign nation. Every single other entry on that list is. Regardless, your violations of our core content policies are non-negotiable; and responding to being informed of this with personal attacks is entirely unacceptable. You will not do that again. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 15:08, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- Once again, so isn't Hamas.
- You have not provided any definition for "international military", meaning your accusations are baseless.
- And i do not see why only national militaries ("international military" can just as well refer to military forces, internationally) should be counted based on the whims of one person when paramilitary groups such as the PMF or Hezbollah (only added the surface-level known ones to not clog up the textbox far too much) have suffered far more casualties and sent far more soldiers to the front-line than several countries, such as USA or Russia.
- I believe not including them is severely disingenuous, thus my edits. PLMandarynka (talk) 15:14, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hamas is the elected government of the state of Palestine, it is definitionally a military force. And WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not an acceptable reason to add inappropriate material to an article, nor does it justify ignoring policy requiring consensus building. The next time you reinsert this edit without consensus, as you are *required* to do by policy at WP:ONUS, I will be pursuing sanctions against you. The appropriate response if you disagree with your edits being reverted is to discuss on the talk page. This is made clear at WP:BRD. Your refusal to engage in constructive discussion and consensus building is the only problem here. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 15:16, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- Your refusal to understand the points of dignity and to pursue consensus is far more problematic.
- Hamas is, while being elected, not the government of the state of Palestine. If it was, then it would be listed as 'Palestine' and not 'Hamas', the political party/organization, which goes as far as de-facto controlling the Gaza Strip.
- You have not refuted any other points pursuing a policy of mindless technicality.
- I will accept moving the discussion towards the talk page of the template to pursue a consensus PLMandarynka (talk) 15:20, 19 October 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Palestine Tower

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Palestine Tower requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- Uhh, why was the page deleted, instead of being protected or another form of preventing problems arising due to contention of the conflict? It what way did it violate the provided enactments? PLMandarynka (talk) 14:51, 19 October 2025 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to War in Afghanistan (2001–2021) have been removed because the citation you added was to another Wikipedia article or an external wiki. As discussed at our policies on circular sourcing and self-published sources, Wikipedia and other wikis should not be used in citations because they are not considered reliable sources. You are welcome to re-add the information using a better reference, perhaps from the article you originally cited. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 15:47, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi PLMandarynka! I noticed that you've made several edits in order to restore your preferred version of War in Afghanistan (2001–2021). The impulse to repeatedly undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure that you're aware of Wikipedia's edit warring policy. Repeatedly undoing the changes made by other users in a back-and-forth fashion like this is disallowed, even if you feel what you're doing is justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages in order to try to reach a consensus with the other editors involved. If you are unable to come to an agreement at Talk:War in Afghanistan (2001–2021), please use one of the dispute resolution options that are available in order to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of repeatedly reverting other editors' changes can help you avoid getting drawn into edit wars. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 15:54, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yes. I am not interested in edit-warring either. I aim to further truth and knowledge by citing known claims and occurences into a wider audience and i always seek to build acceptance and consensus with those that may disagree PLMandarynka (talk) 18:42, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- You've already been warned earlier today that citing to Wikipedia article is not acceptable; you're now edit-warring to revert that content repeatedly back in. That is the exact opposite of building acceptance and consensus, or a lack of interest in edit-warring. You've already been told how you can resolve this issue with appropriate sourcing. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you're going to be blocked from further editing. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 19:39, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- And you've been already told that there are credible sources in the article. Plenty. Please use your eyes. This does not need to be told! PLMandarynka (talk) 19:54, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- The Wired source that you finally included does not make any mention of "carpet bombing", which is the claim you were specifically trying to add. Further, neither of the two Wikipedia articles you referenced mentions carpet bombing either, and the only one with any substantive content quoting the New York Times as stating the destruction was only a few abandoned compounds and makes no mention of war crimes -- which is the relevant context for the section to which you were trying to add in the War in Afghanistan article. So, even by the unreliable sources you were trying to use, your claim doesn't appear to be supported at all. This doesn't appear to be an honest and authentic attempt at collaboratively and constructively trying to build an encyclopedia; it seems more to me like an attempt to push a specific POV via misrepresenting sources.⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 20:20, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- WP:RSP states Wired and other sources within the articles are definitely reliable. Do not blatantly lie.
- Carpet bombing is simply one way to describe the bombings that took place.
- Under the definition of "carpet bombing", which is:
- "he action or activity of intensively bombing an area.",
- This certainly fits the definition, as the articles for the three destroyed villages state, as their sources state, and as all other discussions on the topic elsewhere state.
- You have already been notified of the 1) Sources, 2) their credibility, and 3) The definition of the terminology used.
- Under no situation should you continue your actions of blatantly ignoring the above. As you being an admin, i expect you to know this PLMandarynka (talk) 22:23, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious.
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- If the other person wishes to move it there then i will have no problems in it PLMandarynka (talk) 22:41, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, but the point here is that you should not make further edits to the page relating to your suggested change until you've resolved the issue with the other editor, either through agreement or by appealing to a community decision-making process like WP:3O or WP:RfC.
- Separately, it seems like in the discussion with Swatjester, you're addressing points that they aren't making. They're not saying that Wired isn't generally reliable, they're saying that the specific link you shared doesn't back the changes you are proposing, i.e. adding "carpet-bombing" to a section on war crimes. And in the case of this source, they're right: the source does not state that what it's describing is carpet bombing, nor does it state that this bombing was a war crime. Sources are expected to be precise when backing claims on Wikipedia. signed, Rosguill talk 23:50, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Edit warring on Iran
Hi PLMandarynka! I noticed that you've made several edits in order to restore your preferred version of an article.

- It appears you have been previously blocked for edit warring, so you should know to discuss on the talk page before repeatedly re-imposing your preferred phrasing on an article. DiodotusNicator (talk) 02:51, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
- I am aware, and so am i aware that you initiated said edit firstly by reverting previously used terminology. Reasoning has been given in the Iran article talk page and i hope you understand it PLMandarynka (talk) 04:41, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
Twitter is not a reliable source
See WP:TWITTER, even the user is reliable in the tweet. Des Vallee (talk) 23:37, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- Read the 'so long as'. Sources given do not fall under this as they are news agencies. I don't think you would remove a BBC or CNN claim that was made on Twitter ... just because it was made on Twitter. If there are better sources that can be given, such as articles, then they will be, but for now tweets made by local news agencies will have to suffice. I hope you understand and do not cause further conflicts PLMandarynka (talk) 23:42, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
CS1 error on 2026 northeastern Syria offensive
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page 2026 northeastern Syria offensive, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A generic name error. References show this error when author or editor name parameters use place-holder names. Please edit the article to include the source's actual author or editor name. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 11:49, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
Edit warring across multiple articles
You appear to be aggressively reverting the Syrian civil war's map on multiple articles, to a deeply outdated and misleading version. Please stop your edit warring since this is a highly disruptive editing pattern. The version you are reverting to has outdated boundaries on SDF, Israeli occupation, Druze factions, Turkish-backed factions, along with countless other errors. Ecrusized (talk) 14:23, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- Then fix the map, because i am faced with the option between a lightly incorrect map presenting a united Syria vs a heavily incorrect map showing it as fractured and divided. The choice is clear here. PS. "Turkish-backed factions" do not exist; SNA has merged into Syrian state institutions, and the control of SDF is showed as same in both maps. PLMandarynka (talk) 14:37, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- Until then i am forced to present a map of a united Syria as opposed to a heavily outdated and innacurate map that shows the factions of the Syrian opposition as divided; even though they literally do not exist anymore. PLMandarynka (talk) 14:38, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

@PLMandarynka, in the following edits you are introducing an implied claim which is not present in either source being cited. At best, this is WP:OR, however given your edit summaries, you appear to be deliberately falsifying the source in order to support your own version of events.

1RR Violation
Hello @PLMandarynka. You made today at least two reverts on a CTOP article, 2026 Israeli–United States strikes on Iran. That means you have to revert your last revert, otherwise you could be potentially blocked for violating this basic principle in Wikipedia. You are supposed to make only one revert in 24 hours per article on Wikipedia. 1: first revert 2: second revert Ibn Yagdhan (talk) 12:40, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hello Ibn Yagdhan, which contentious topic area exactly is the 1RR you refer to from? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 12:41, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

All they can is notifying people about topic-wide restrictions, but I'd say it didn't apply in this case. I have now removed the template to avoid confusion. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:31, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

"Reliability"
Please do not attempt to claim that JFeed is "uncredible per Wikipedia" – this is not the case. You gain nothing from lying. aesurias (ping me in your reply, or I won't see it) (talk) 09:02, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- And you gain nothing from attempting to claim a tabloid is 'reliable'...? Sorry, but i need more sources other than an Israeli tabloid and a British tabloid. Both of them claim "Iranian media" has supposedly confirmed this rumour ... If so, can you provide me with Iranian media saying so?
- Until then, it will stay the way it is, as other users have agreed PLMandarynka (talk) 09:07, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- I never claimed that, nor did I discuss the Express source. JFeed is an online news platform, so by definition cannot be a tabloid. Moreover, other users have not agreed on your edit. Why are you digging yourself into a deeper hole with more lies???? aesurias (ping me in your reply, or I won't see it) (talk) 10:10, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Directly asking you: why did you lie and claim that Wikipedia has determined JFeed is "uncredible"? aesurias (ping me in your reply, or I won't see it) (talk) 10:12, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- I didn't claim that it specifically was uncredible, i claimed that Express is uncredible, and that tabloids as such are uncredible. From the looks of it to me it is a sensationalist news page designed for clicks and not real news, offering news stories such as: "Hasan Piker Tells His Followers to Build Drones (Because Suicide Bombing is Dead)" or "Kim Jong Un 'Offers' to Give Iran Missiles to Destroy Israel". Is this not a tabloid to you?
- Many users can have doubts as to the reliability of such a news site, and thus, i ask you to provide other sources aside from the two tabloids that would prove the story's truth. As i have said before, no other source has done so, because it is a pure rumour that is not credible for them, nor should it be for Wikipedia. I have given you the challenge, and i am waiting for an answer. PLMandarynka (talk) 11:04, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
