Links to draft articles
Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Family Guy and Peter's Progress. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:54, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
Copying licensed material requires attribution
Hi. I see in a recent addition to Draft:Quahog, Rhode Island you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 13:39, 12 June 2022 (UTC)Italic text

Deceptive editing
I have reverted your additions. The sources do not back the content, and you have even created fake headlines and used sources that do not contain the quotes in our text. Don't do that unless you want to get blocked for bad faith editing. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 19:43, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry. I DEFINITELY dont wanna get blocked because I love Wikipedia. It's the first website that pops up every time I look up something. My fault, it won't happen again. Salamanderman476 (talk) 03:24, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Gurkubondinn. An edit that you recently made to Draft:Joe Swanson seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 21:22, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- I think a mistake has been made. These are all my words, and these are credible citations. I read through them, you can read them for yourself too if you want to check. Salamanderman476 (talk) 21:43, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- I read it and it sounds like AI to me. The references are not great either, you have stuff like WP:IMDB, tick tock and other social media. You have to show that there has been WP:SIGCOV in reliable sources. I think that might be hard to show that for a relatively minor character in a TV show, which has a pretty long list of characters already. Maybe try expanding the section of the character there instead? Just make sure to actually write it yourself, an amendment to the WP:NEWLLM guidrline has passed very recently which makes it impermissible to use AI to generate any new additions to articles. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 21:50, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- I didn't use AI for this at all. This is all my work, I just used a few outside sources but I put everything in my own words. Trust that. Salamanderman476 (talk) 21:52, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- All right, fair enough. I will WP:AGF and take your word for it. But the notability and sourcing issues are still the same. I would recommend doing small incremental changes on the article for the characters of the show (and discarding the imdb and tick tock sources). --Gurkubondinn (talk) 21:59, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- ok I can do that. Salamanderman476 (talk) 22:00, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- It's done. Can you look at the new version for review? Salamanderman476 (talk) 22:34, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not seeing any changes in History/List of characters in the Family Guy franchise from you? --Gurkubondinn (talk) 11:36, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
It appears you may have used a large language model (LLM), such as ChatGPT, in your edits. While LLMs are powerful, machine-generated text often contains serious flaws. They may introduce bias, errors, plagiarism, libel, or even hoaxes. Specifically asking an LLM to "write a Wikipedia article" can sometimes cause the output to be outright fabrication, complete with fictitious references. Editors must verify all LLM-generated text before using it in an article. Completely LLM-generated articles may be quickly deleted. If you are unsure about your wording, an alternative is to suggest it on the talk page for another volunteer to look at it. If you are creating a new article, you may use the Articles for Creation process to get feedback on your work.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Joe Swanson (March 20)

LLM-generated pages with the below issues may be deleted without notice.
These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:
- hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
- unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.
See the advice page on large language models for more information.- provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
- are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
- are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
