Your submission at Articles for creation: Waseem Ahmed Khan (May 23)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by TheBirdsShedTears was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
To meet notability guidelines, please add one more high-quality, independent, and secondary source like this that offer substantial coverage of the topic.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Honorifics

We do not write honorifics in articles leads or infoboxes if not part of the WP:COMMONNAME per WP:NCIN, MOS:DOC. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:14, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi @Fylindfotberserk, Thank you for the reminder. I’ll keep this in mind and follow WP:NCIN and MOS:DOC for future edits. Serviceeternity (talk) 17:30, 26 November 2025 (UTC)
Most welcome. Happy editing . - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:32, 26 November 2025 (UTC)
Also, The edits I made were based on the references available, for example, the article on Munawar Ali Khan uses Ustad, as seen in The Hindu : "Remembering a music maestro". Is that not right, or maybe I’m misunderstanding? Could you please clarify as this will basically help me learn more and improve. Serviceeternity (talk) 17:40, 26 November 2025 (UTC)
It depends on the WP:COMMONNAME / article name. If the article name is 'Pandit XYZ' for example, we would use 'Pandit' as an honorific prefix parameter in the infobox and in the lead sentence. See Mahatma Gandhi, a GA-status article on how it is done in the IB. Also note that WP:NICN is an extra rule specifically for Indic articles. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:09, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Koushik Ranjit (January 21)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Bonadea were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
