- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
- Welcome!
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: BiggySmoov (talk) 04:40, 26 June 2025 (UTC) (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
autopatrolled

Hi Stephreef, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Katietalk 23:05, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
New Page Reviewer granted

Hello Stephreef. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator.
Administrator note You have been grandfathered to this group based on prior patrolling activity - the technical flag for the group will be added to your account after the next software update. You do not need to apply at WP:PERM. 20:56, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
FIBA Oceania
Hey, i did not edit the article in question. Kante4 (talk) 17:27, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- You meant FIBA Oceania Championship i guess. I think it would fit better at the Basketball at the Pacific Games article. Should have merged it into this article after re-thinking it but what do you think? Kante4 (talk) 17:31, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- It is most closely related to the FIBA Oceania Championship..... I think you should have left it there...... Stephreef (talk) 09:07, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

Invitation to participate in research
Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of a group of Wikipedians to better understand their experiences! We are also looking to interview some survey respondents in more detail, and you will be eligible to receive a thank-you gift for the completion of an interview. The outcomes of this research will shape future work designed to improve on-wiki experiences.
We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this survey, which shouldn’t take more than 2-3 minutes. You may view its privacy statement here. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards, Sam Walton (talk) 16:35, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
ANI notice
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. DaHuzyBru (talk) 05:53, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback. It would be better to always contact me directly. If you ask a question, I usually respond quickly. BiggySmoov (talk) 07:01, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. The talk page post removal etiquette you display is typically behaviour displayed by users who are not civil. The expected behaviour of a long-time editor such as yourself would be at a minimum responses to other users who post here, or at least an edit summary acknowledging the feedback and a reason for the post removal. I'm sure we can contribute collaboratively moving forward. DaHuzyBru (talk) 07:43, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- ok, your feedback was acknowledged. BiggySmoov (talk) 07:45, 7 September 2025 (UTC)

My recent edits
Hello Wikipedians, I see that my recent edits have caused trouble that I want to apologize for. I will abide by the rules and I take feedback seriously. I started correcting shortcomings but if you notice anything else, please let me know. BiggySmoov (talk) 05:07, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

I will abide by the rules
is vague and so far you haven’t shown any sign of understanding what the problem is. It’s hard to believe you take feedback seriously if you just keep using AI to talk to us. User:Polygnotus asked you twice “what articles you posted were created AI”, and you haven’t answered to either of them. Northern Moonlight 06:07, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

Mário Gomes moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Mário Gomes. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 22:56, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Yusef Riley

The article Yusef Riley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails GNG
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Dexia Mons-Hainaut.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Dexia Mons-Hainaut.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 20:25, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
