Hello all, I've added an altered form of station table used at Melbourne station articles to the Melbourne Central article as a trial. I would like other editors opinion of this table to see if they should be added in place of the existing station layout tables to articles such as Box Hill LachlanTansey (talk) 20:16, 7 July 2026 (UTC)

According to the 2020 Wikiproject Trains RFC, a table listing the exits of a station and the layout of the station is not allowed, and this should be described in prose instead. Steelkamp (talk) 04:59, 11 July 2026 (UTC)

Hello all, On articles relating to railway stations operated by Transperth, myself and User:Steelkamp have been having back and forth regarding a table layout for platforms at stations. This is the same table used on articles for stations in Brisbane and Melbourne. I wanted to gauge other editors opinions on the status of these tables on Perth articles. Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Tables says that prose is preferred where possible. Many Transperth station articles have their layout described in prose, and in those cases, a table is not necessary. This is especially the case for stations that only have two platforms. The case for a table increases for more complicated stations. Steelkamp (talk) 02:15, 29 July 2026 (UTC)
