Did I find a mistake?
In section 1.4 the second sentence of paragraph 3 states that Mariner 5 was the first NASA spacecraft to fly by Mars. The source it sites [21] states that it was re-purposed for Venus and Wikipedia's own article on it says similar. First time using Wikipedia's forum so sorry if this post is inappropriate. 76.185.160.91 (talk) 23:17, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

Replace:
|File:Voyager spacecraft.jpg|''[[Voyager 2]]'', now 24.9 billion kilometers from the Earth, June 2025
with:
|File:Voyager spacecraft.jpg|''[[Voyager 2]]'', now 21.1 billion kilometers from the Earth, November 2025
Reason: Voyager 2 is 21 billion km from Earth currently, not 24 billion km unlike Voyager 1. ~2025-31666-27 (talk) 18:55, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. NotJamestack (talk) 19:00, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

Animated GIF
Why is there an animated GIF on the side of the page? While cute as hell, it messes up the usual orientation of the entire article to screen size, and it's not like it's a short article... Please find this thing a better home. UpdateNerd (talk) 17:36, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
- OK, this is apparently called "birthday mode" and it can be turned off in the Appearance section of the site preferences. Although I still don't know why it showed up on this article but not others. UpdateNerd (talk) 18:12, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
