I reverted your edits because you didn't add any sources to the article itself, and your edits to the years active don't match the rest of the article. What source says they formed in 2008? See: https://www.allmusic.com/artist/twenty-one-pilots-mn0002398414 AllMusic says they formed in 2009 and that is a reliable source. Them performing a show in 2008 may be true, but does it confirm that they were known as Twenty One Pilots at the time? They probably didn't officially start until 2009. I have a slight suspicion you might have made an error in this edit request. I do not see the text you want to change in the “Lyrical themes” (sub)section. The same goes for the other edit. It is useful if you take a bit more text, and use the {{textdiff}} template.

On a less technical note:

I am also a bit sceptical about the rationale. I am not sure how notable this is, and if the current text isn’t sufficient. (Although I don’t really care that much one way or the other here, so I won’t be difficult about it)

I do want to check one thing though: you do not have any kind of conflict of interest and are not editing from of some sort of (personal or professional) agenda, right? (Not accusing you of anything, it’s just that your edit read a bit like it may have been by someone who cares about the subject’s image from an non-NPOV to me.) Sorry! I’ve never done this before (wasn’t really sure how formal it is and I don’t know how to use the functions particularly).

In regard to bias, apologies if I came off non-HPOV, I thought that the bands’ faith might be mentioned as context for the music but that has been controversial in other cases as well.

The whole phrase “The duo grew up in strict Christian households where they had to either conceal their pop punk and hip hop albums from the censure of their parents, or find faith-friendly counterparts. Both still identify as Christians.” at the time read to me a bit snide, but I had made an error!

I hadn’t realised the phrase is close reference to the source article which says “They still identify as Christians, though doubting ones, and a hefty slice of their fan base interprets their songs as an ongoing negotiation with God, as evidenced in lengthy debates on the lyrics-annotation site Genius.”

I like how the source addresses the sensitivity of the topic.

Also I accidentally switched up the section headings and their content. No worries if this is an unnecessary addition, again I am new so I don’t know, but I thought it may be another perspective worth considering.
