The Xbox 360 is a home video game console developed by Microsoft. As the successor to the original Xbox, it is the second console in the Xbox series. It competed with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles. It was officially unveiled on MTV on May 12, 2005, with detailed launch and game information announced later that month at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). This photograph shows the "Pro" model from the launch line-up, which featured a 20GB hard drive, wireless controller and a silver DVD bezel. Photograph credit: Evan-Amos

False information about the removal of A/V
I can't edit this page yet, so... The page states that the Xbox 360 E has "no AV connector (and thus is HDMI-only)". This is completely false. While the proprietary connector of the original Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 S had been removed, it had been replaced with a standard AUX-style RCA cable. Thus, only the capabilities of S-video, Component, and VGA had been removed. https://www.cnet.com/reviews/microsoft-xbox-360-e-review/ DeadPixelPro (talk) 05:24, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
Adding information about the console's region locking
As I can't edit this page, could someone add info about region locking ? I don't know in which section it would be the most relevant however. https://consolemods.org/wiki/Xbox_360:Region_Compatibility can be used as a source of info. 185.24.184.194 (talk) 09:49, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
