User:GGOTCC

Hello, I am GGOTCC! I primarily focus on Wikiproject:Ships with my main niche being the US Navy, vessels with unique designs, and making typos. I also poke around various Wikiprojects dedicated to improving the quality of various articles across the site.

GGOTCC is in school, attending Virginia Tech, and may be inactive for varying periods of time.

...likes ships. Alot!

GGOTCC

Editor of the Week for the week beginning July 5, 2026

I nominate GGOTCC to be Editor of the Week for their valuable and high-quality contributions to Wikipedia. In an age where content-focused editors are in decline, particularly on niche WikiProjects, dedicated users like GGOTCC are invaluable in maintaining the health of the project. Since joining Wikipedia in 2021, GGOTCC has created over 90 articles, the bulk of them within the scope of WP:SHIPS and WP:MILHIST. Their GA log is similarly impressive, having worked to promote 18 GAs, and conducting 19 GA reviews as of this nomination. They have also contributed 23 DYK nominations to the aforementioned projects. I believe GGOTCC's solid work merits this award.
