Finland-Swedish literature

Thank you for your work and assessing the article! I'm not very familiar with the procedures in WP:EN but see that you ranked the article "C-class" according to Wikipedia:Content assessment#Grades. This means among other things that "[t]he article … may still have significant problems or require substantial cleanup." Could you point me to the issues you see in the article which result in this relatively low rank. This would help me improving the article. --Rießler (talk) 11:56, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi Rießler, thank you for your work on the article so far. I was very happy to see such a substantial article on Nordic literature in the feed. A C-class rating is actually a very strong starting point for a brand-new article- most of what I come across during NPP are stub or start class. Regarding the specific assessment, the main reason it was rated C rather than B is the referencing. The article has several paragraphs that lack inline citations (including the entire Background and Periodicals sections). Once that is addressed, the article would likely be ready for a B-class re-assessment. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 12:28, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

Thymus mongolicus article

Hello Zzz plant, This is with regard to the article Thymus mongolicus, which you reviewed. The information provided in the article infobox relates to an animal species rather than to the plant highlighted in the article. This situation needs to be corrected before the article is accepted. If this is an oversight on your part, it would be appreciated if you could kindly reconsider your review. Regards. QEnigma 19:56, 10 January 2026 (UTC)

@QEnigma: I believe I've fixed the issue. The speciesbox had defaulted to Thymus (wasp) rather than Thymus (plant). Zzz plant (talk) 20:09, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Thank you Zzz plant. Greatly appreciated. QEnigma 20:12, 10 January 2026 (UTC)

Capitalization

Hi,

What's wrong with the capitalization on En directo? I just thought it looked better, but I already de-capitalized the Ds. But I still wanna know what was wrong with it. Thank you.

Jibblesnark86 (talk) 04:53, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi, nothing "wrong" per se, just a question of consistency. I moved it to "En directo desde el Teatro Arriaga" because the Spanish Wikipedia article uses "en directo" in lowercase, the album cover itself uses lowercase, and all the sources I could find also render it that way. Under Wikipedia’s article-title conventions, we generally follow what reliable sources use. I believe that in this case it also reflects Spanish capitalization rules - since "directo" is not a proper noun like Teatro Arriaga. Hope that helps explain the move, and let me know if you have another perspective. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 13:22, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
Gotcha. Ok, that's understandable. Didn't mean to message you like this, but I was just curious. Thank you for the tips. Jibblesnark86 (talk) 20:14, 16 January 2026 (UTC)
No need to apologize- I'd be curious too if someone moved a page I created. Thanks for your work on the article and happy editing :-) Zzz plant (talk) 20:18, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Robert W. Munley Jr This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that she has been paid by {{{employer}}} for her contributions to Wikipedia.

Thank you for your message regarding the page for the late attorney Robert W. Munley Jr. I would like to explain the backstory behind my involvement and ask a question about it. I did not create the page but I did move it to draft space because it had been tagged for falling short of the notability guideline for biographies. I moved it to draft space to reduce the urgency for any editor to make a determination on whether the page did or did not meet the notability guideline. To further explain, I have a conflict of interest because I do paid public relations work on behalf of the law firm founded by Robert W. Munley Jr. The page was created prior to my getting involved this month. What I did with the page was to fix a broken link in reference No. 1. The reference now goes to an obituary of Robert W. Munley Jr in the Scranton Times-Tribune. I would like to know if that is enough to satisfy the requirement for notability for the page because now it contains an independent and reliable secondary source. If so, can you remove the tag and reinstate the biography on Wikipedia? DonFacto (talk) 19:43, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi, I marked the redirect for deletion - not the article - because it was a cross-namespace redirect from mainspace into draftspace per WP:R2. This is just a procedural task; I didn't otherwise evaluate the article for notability. Since the subject has been tagged as potentially not meeting the notability guideline, I would recommend using the Articles for Creation process to submit the draft for evaluation. I added a template which will allow you to submit it. I hope this helps, Zzz plant (talk) 21:16, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

Edit of One Night film page

Hello, it took me a while to write this page based on the info about the film in the book World Film Directors, Volume One. I decided to make it because it is considered to be quite an important film in the early sound era and it wasn't even mentioned in the Gustaf Molander's page (director of the film), which I've been editing lately. Could you please let me know what was wrong about my edit of the film page? I'm quite new here and still learning my way. Thanks. Artful Historian (talk) 08:33, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi Artful Historian, first off welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for making the article; it is a very worthy topic and Molander's work definitely needs more coverage here. I removed the text primarily to avoid cluttering a new article with a "multi-issue" warning template. By trimming it, I was able to mark the page as reviewed, which is a good thing, as it confirms the page belongs on Wikipedia, and allows for the article to be indexed by Google and other search engines.
Regarding the content itself, the prose style had some hallmarks of being LLM-generated, and because several sections lacked inline citations, it was difficult to verify the claims. I was also a bit concerned that the plot summary differed from other sources, like the Swedish Wikipedia. When sources are offline (like the book you mentioned), it's especially important that the text is clearly cited and written in a standard encyclopedic voice.
Ultimately, I would love to see that information back in the article! The best way to move forward is to rewrite those sections in your own words, ensuring you maintain a neutral POV and provide a citation for each significant claim. If you'd like, you can draft the changes in your sandbox. Let me know if you have any other questions and happy editing! Zzz plant (talk) 12:27, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
Thank you very much for the comments. The article was written by me using the mentioned source, and only used AI to translate it, since English is not my native language. I will look into other sources about the plot and revise the text adding citation for every claim. Thanks again. Artful Historian (talk) 13:47, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for explaining and taking the time to follow up. Your plan sounds solid; you have good sources to build an article from. If you run into any issues revising or just want a second pair of eyes on the article, feel free to ping me. I'm involved in the Nordic cinema task force so I'm very glad to see contributions in this area. And once again, welcome! Zzz plant (talk) 14:03, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

Slipper lamp

Hi there! Could you consider placing Slipper lamp as a pictured hook in queue 5 or another instead? Was hoping it could be the top hook. Tiamut (talk) 22:37, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi Tiamut- really nice work on the article, it was a very interesting read. I don't have any real objection to the hook running in slot 1. That said, to the best of my knowledge placement requests generally aren't something an individual can decide on, since there are usually more image hooks than can feasibly run (and final placement depends on overall queue balance). I would recommend raising this at DYK talk, that way others can weigh in. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 22:49, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for the positive feedback. I did post on talk. I do hope you could just move it though yourself to prep area 5 which currently lacks a hook with a photo. Its a nice picture too and the hook included "(pictured)" and was approved. Would deeply appreciate the extra effort on your part, as I did work rather hard on it and had hoped it would be an Orthodox Christmas feature, though perhaps nominated it too late. Tiamut (talk) 10:05, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

About Prep 2

Hey Zzz plant! Could you let me know why you made this hook swap? There's nothing wrong with it, I only ask because leeky and I had the funny idea to build a whole set with only multi-article hooks, and Four sea delicacies sadly isn't one. If possible, I'd like to keep them together. :) Let me know what you think! TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 01:34, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi TechnoSquirrel69! I swapped just because I didn't love that there was a shark hook right after a fish hook (felt a little too aquatic especially with the image), but I can definitely find another hook to put in prep 6. Feel free to revert my swap / restore the angel numbers hook to your prep set :-) Zzz plant (talk) 01:39, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
Gotcha, thanks for the explanation. I was about to round-robin it with Bixie jishi in Prep 1 (also have to distance it with the fish in Prep 4), but this set just got moved to a template-protected queue. So, JuniperChill, could I bother you to swap these around? TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 02:11, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
As its 2;30am where I live and didn't know about this hook swap, I don't have the time to do so and need to go to bed. Feel free to get leek or anyone with TE/admin to do it. JuniperChill (talk) 02:28, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Węgliniec–Czerwona Woda railway

You added the citation needed template to many of my passages because they are "unreferenced". However, the majority of the article is based on the books I citied in the bibliography section under references which was translated from the German article.

I still referenced reliable Polish rail websites which back some of these claims, e.g., "After previous proposals (earliest in 1904), the line opened on 22 October 1913. Passenger services were abolished on 27 May 1967, with freight trains using the line until it was dismantled on 17 May 1974."—however, with the other passages, there are no online sources, only from the books I cited.

I did however manage to find a source that confirms the opening of a bicycle path. Fortek67 (talk) 09:19, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for the explanation, and for tracking down that extra source for the bike path. It's completely fine if the sources are offline, but it is helpful if you can add an in-line citation so the reader knows how to verify the material they've read. I see you've already added in-line citations to the article, so thank you for that. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 10:59, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

January–February 2026 NPP drive - Phase 2

NPP unreviewed article statistics as of February 02, 2026

Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Best of luck!

Maluti Adventist Hospital ARV claim

Hello! Thanks so much for reviewing Maluti Adventist Hospital. I went back through the sources I used for the ARV claim and the article 'Food meanings in HIV and AIDS caregiving trajectories' from the journal Psychology, Health & Medicine, states "Maluti Seventh Adventist Hospital, an institution that pioneered the provision of ARVs and one of the study sites, launched a care and treatment programme that included food security and income generation components for households affected by HIV/AIDS in 2001." So that's where that statement came from. I don't have anything more nuanced to back it up. Should I remove that claim? Or can you think of a way to soften it? Thanks! H0n0r (talk) 02:21, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi! No problem, I'm always happy to see well-developed hospital articles in the new pages feed. I'm just cautious of pioneering claims without a clear concept of what/how exactly they pioneered. I looked around a bit and didn’t find mention of the hospital in general articles about the early years of ARV, which is why I tagged it, but it also may not be as well-documented because of systemic  bias. I don't think you need to remove the claim, but I would suggest attributing it to the source (e.g. "According to a study published in Psychology, Health & Medicine, the hospital pioneered..."), unless you can find a source explaining their role in the treatment's development. I hope that makes sense, and thanks again for making the article! :-) Zzz plant (talk) 02:32, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
Aha, that's perfect. Yeah, I'm digging into the references of the references and not getting anything. Your approach is great. Thanks! H0n0r (talk) 02:36, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

Moreno's Liquors

Hey Zzz plant. You added a Peacock tag to the Moreno's Liquors article. There have been several edits attempting to address subjective language concerns. Are there other specific examples that need to be reviewed before removing the tag? Gumballhead1of2 (talk) 16:31, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for reaching out. I appreciate the work you've done here - the tone overall definitely reads more neutral than when I first tagged it. From my perspective, there are still a few places where the phrasing reads a bit more promotional than encyclopedic. For example: "cultural landmark" (this would ideally be attributed - e.g., "XYZ described it as..."); "has since evolved into the largest retailer of agave spirits in the United States" (claims like "largest" generally need very strong sourcing and clear attribution); and "has been credited with pioneering the specialty spirits model within the neighborhood while acting as an economic driver for the local Latino community" (terms like "pioneering" are usually avoided in wikivoice unless directly attributed). If statements like these are either rephrased in more neutral language or clearly attributed to reliable independent sources, I'd be happy to remove the peacock phrasing tag. Hope that helps clarify, and thanks for working on the article. Best, Zzz plant (talk) 18:22, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
