In addition to the header above, please ensure that you title your new section appropriately. Do not edit my page to add and / or remove what you feel you should; if such is done, I will automatically revert the edit(s) without warning — no questions or hesitations about it. If I begin a discussion on your talk page, please do not continue it on this one; keep it to one talk page, to avoid confusion, etc., and do not interrupt on ongoing conversation for your own (ADHD/OCD). Any personal attacks and/or insults thrown at me or any other editor are automatically deleted, and, if need be, will receive a report to the appropriate noticeboard. Please remember to follow good practice and avoid unacceptable behaviour. Thank you! On my reverted edit in the ER articleHey. I'm relatively new here, in a sense, and I'm wondering why you reverted my edit. I see you refer to consistency (per MOS:YEARRANGE/MOS:CONSISTENT) and I'd understand that had my edit been visible, but it was purely with regard to linking if I'm not mistaken (if it was visible, or edited visible dates, that wasn't the intention).
"Worldwide"Can I know where the consensus for not using "worldwide" reached? I have seen several articles still using "worldwide" rather than "various", and when I change this to the latter, it seems that I need to cite the consensus for it. Thanks. Reason for my edit in Janet Jackson: Las VegasHey there. The reason I removed the ellipsis in the Infobox for the article, Janet Jackson: Las Vegas, was because of a consensus that was reached in Template talk:Infobox concert from this discussion here. Just thought I'd let you know. HorrorLover555 (talk) 16:32, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
Alleged personal attacks and manner of addressing youMan, I think saying that I do not respect you is not a personal attack. I don't think you respect everyone or even me to start with. Also, I will never agree with what you have done, to be honest, it seems to me that it makes the article worse, besides putting italics in the references that do not exist in the title of the articles or parameters that are not usually used, but I apologize for the way I addressed you, I could have been a little more courteous and I admit it. Hilary Duff and Ticketmaster
Hello! I just want some clarification on something. You say Ticketmaster is not a reliable source. Could you please point out the policy saying so? Thanks! Urbanracer34 (talk) 13:35, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
- Ticketmaster is included on both the site-registered Wikipedia's blacklist and the global blacklist. Moreover, WP:NTOUR clearly outlines the criteria necessary for the inclusion of information in articles. Not to mention, stating "it's here" in an edit summary is not acceptable, either. livelikemusic (TALK!) 16:03, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
- Understood. Thanks for making things clearer. Urbanracer34 (talk) 21:36, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
Closing discussions on Talk:Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour
Hi! I'm not suggesting that this is wrong to do, but what's the rationale behind closing discussions on this talk page? I haven't seen it done anywhere else but the most contentious of contentious topics, so I'm genuinely curious why this is the case here. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 22:21, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
Help understanding MOS:MUSICCAPS - Sages
I noticed that the edit on Loreen discography has reverted the all caps styling on 'Sages' EP due to the rules of MOS:MUSICCAPS. However, to my understanding it states that's only the case when referring to the artist or band name, not the works of the artist, and states that if the works of an artist contain descriptive phrases in brackets such as 'remix' those words shall not be capitalised as it should not be considered part of the title, implying that the title of the song can be fully capitalised. Could you elaborate on why SAGES is not allowed?
Thanks :) Beatrix TBS (talk) 01:08, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- "Exceptions are not made to mimic logo/cover stylization, even if such mimicry is common in the music press." livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:28, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- I understand that, but that is logo and cover stylisation, SAGES is the actual name of the EP. How does that apply in this case then? Beatrix TBS (talk) 20:39, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- Again, it is explained in the sentence above; Wikipedia does not mimic stylization "even if such mimicry is common in the music press". Sages is appropriate. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:45, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- Again, that is for logos, covers and band/artists name, not the titles of songs. Therefore given the information provided SAGES would be appropriate. Beatrix TBS (talk) 21:31, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- No, it does not. You are misinterpreting what it says. If an article were to exist, we would still write Sages and then include a byline stating (in all caps). We would not write the title in all-caps. That is not what is done on Wikipedia. MOS:MUSICCAPS covers title of works, as well. The entire quoted sentence above covers this. Just because music press mimicked the all-capital titles, does not Wikipedia does (MOS:ALLCAPS further covers this). Period. livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:38, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- ''apply to the names of bands and individual artists''
- ''Exceptions are not made to mimic logo/cover stylization, even if such mimicry is common in the music press.''
- ''descriptive phrases in parentheses or after dashes... should not be considered part of song titles and should not be capitalized...''
- I don't believe it is misinterpreted, it makes no mention of song titles not being capitalised. However, to end this 'debate' might I suggest adding '(stylized in all caps)' after 'Sages' as the opening line of Sing (My Chemical Romance song) has? Beatrix TBS (talk) 21:47, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- You are taking two different bullet points to try a point across, and it is not landing. It has been discussed, multiple times, that per MOS:MUSICCAPS, writing in prose (or infobox for this matter) in all-capital letters is not acceptable. The full quote for the third bullet deals with the title of works, and states as follows: "The first letter in the first and last words in English-language titles of works and releases is capitalized. The first letter in the other words should also be capitalized, except in words that are short coordinating conjunctions, prepositions, and articles ("short" meaning those with fewer than five letters), as well as the word to in infinitives (although if the artist has chosen to capitalize short conjunctions, prepositions, etc. then the article title may follow the artist's choice). For more details (including subtitles, hyphenation, incipits, etc.) see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Titles § Capital letters. Exceptions are not made to mimic logo/cover stylization, even if such mimicry is common in the music press." You are not reading the right Manual of Style at all. That is the bullet point that deals with writing titles in prose. This has been discussed, ad nauseam, with multiple editors. SAGES is improper and against the Manual of Style; Sages is not. livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:59, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
About fair usage of photo
Hello! I am writing to ask for permission to use the cover image of Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album on Wikipedia. The image would be used in the article about the album for informational and educational purposes. Wikipedia is a free, non-commercial encyclopedia, and the image would be used in a limited, low-resolution format with proper credit. If possible, permission to use the image under a suitable license (or confirmation of its use under fair use conditions) would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you require any additional details. Thank you for your time and consideration. Andria Gagua (talk) 16:49, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- I do not own the permission for either cover image, hence why it is uploaded (and covered by) in relation to non-free content and use rationale guidelines. You would have to contact either the photographer and/or Carpenter's record label for free usage. livelikemusic (TALK!) 16:53, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
Harry Potter season 1
I don't know why you're just removing all the content from the first season's draft. This is a standard procedure for seasons drafts, as the information from the main article is then passed on to the respective drafts for each season to be published, and the main article is simplified to the most general and necessary information, just as it is in my sandbox, User:Marco camino 10/sandbox. So I'm asking you now, please, or I'll do it myself, to restore it to how it was because when that draft is published, the information in the main article will be simplified and they won't be the same at all. The draft information issue was settled yesterday in two separate discussions that obviously you haven't even checked. Marco camino 10 (talk) 21:14, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
- There was no discussion at the draft's talk page, which I did check, so please assume good faith. Obviously, if I missed a discussion, then it would be the courteous thing to link to it. Also, I am presently in the process of re-formatting things in a way that it is not a copy-paste move, but it takes more than a bit of time to do so, given the vast amount of information for the season, plus other copy-edit issues. The concept of article drafts is to work in improving the article to meet the general notability guideline for general publishing, as well as adhering to MOS:TVUPCOMING. Everyone is allowed to edit article drafts, as it is a collaborative effort amongst users. livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:20, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
- I was referring to other discussion like this one. And what I've described isn't a process I invented; it's one I've seen many times before. Marco camino 10 (talk) 21:34, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
- Please speak on content, not contributor, as I've pointed out before. Henceforth, I have removed such comments I feel pertain to that, as we settled our bullshit previously, and do not wish to move backwards. And thank you for linking to the discussion I was unaware of had happened; Like you stated prior, "we both want to improve the article" (or in this case, draft-space), and as I did state, I am presently in the process of re-formatting things in a way that is not presented as a cut-paste move from the main to draft space, alongside producing some copy-editing at the same time. livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:46, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
Question about reverted edits
Hi. I'm new. I see you went through a bunch of my edits and reverted them. For most, I understand because I did not source and will re-do those with proper sourcing.
But I'm wondering why you reverted this punctuation edit and this Jen Shah edit.
In the case of Jen Shah, I think that her story is incomplete. The page talks about her getting into trouble but not how the story ended. I think it's notable and important that her prison sentence has been completed and that Andy Cohen believes she may be returning to reality TV. Am I approaching or thinking about this incorrectly? MeadowRidge04 (talk) 20:45, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
- Per MOS:QWQ, the punctuation would not go within the quotation marks. As for the other edit, most of sources you included were not reliable and one was even user-generated, which is not acceptable for use on Wikipedia. It's also very important to note that Wikipedia is not a tabloid and not everything needs to be reported on. livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:35, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
- I don't understand what you mean re: tabloid. What is that referring to? If the Jen Shah edit, that is not an appropriate response. I am sharing reported and newsworthy subjects.
- And related to the reverts you just did on 1-5: yes, those were long-standing but also out-of-line with how the structure looks on the other seasons. I am seeking to establish a consistent format across all 15 seasons. I do not understand your motivation in stopping this from being the case? MeadowRidge04 (talk) 21:43, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II
Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note your recent revert at this article.
The "Released" field in the infobox indicates a future date. Per WP:CRYSTAL, "Dates are not definite until the event actually takes place, as even otherwise-notable events can be cancelled or postponed at the last minute by a major incident." While the album's expected release date can be addressed in the article, the infobox field should be left blank until this is fait accompli. 162 etc. (talk) 18:01, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- Per {{Infobox album}}, it does state: "Do not include future dates unless reliably sourced and near-certain to occur, per WP:CRYSTAL." The release is reliably sourced and near-certain to occur, which is in accordance to WP:CRYSTAL. And per the policy: "Individual scheduled or expected future events should be included only if the event is notable and almost certain to take place." At this point in time, the event is both notably sourced and almost certain to take place. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:12, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- I've started a thread at Template talk:Infobox album. 162 etc. (talk) 18:30, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: File:Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun single cover.png
Hello Livelikemusic. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of File:Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun single cover.png, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: File has a suitable license. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 13:35, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
Were you looking to have it deleted as an unused non-free image? If so, the deletion tag for that is {{di-orphaned non-free use}}. If you are using Twinkle, that is not in the "CSD" menu. It is in the "DI" menu". -- Whpq (talk) 13:38, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
Removing alternative cover

Dates with films
Just curious re this edit: What's the relevant MOS provision that says we must follow the mention of a film with the year of release in parentheses, even if it has a very singular title? I couldn't find anything to that effect in MOS:FILM, and, having edited film articles since around the time the first Devil Wears Prada came out, I have never seen that done consistently anywhere. Condensing
Hey. Respectfully, while I appreciate condensing down information and excluding exess, you removed my entire summary of 2026 Clare's appearance. You could've edited it down but totally removing stuff is overzealous. You're leaving out too much, one line is very vague and not informative. ErosionMitchell (talk) 19:11, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- I am going to assume this addition is what you are referring to, yes? Adding over one thousand words for a one-episode appearance, especially when most of what was added had little-to-no relevance to the character of Clare Bates, is beyond unnecessary. No offence, but your edits to storyline sections continually include far too much fluff and trivial details and information, which is neither important to the section nor to the character you are editing. Per the guidelines and recommendations established by WikiProject Soap Operas, storyline summary sections should be "500-1000 words maximum," so adding over one thousand words for, at that point, a one-day appearance is absolutely uncalled for. livelikemusic (TALK!) 19:25, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
- No actually it's multiple. Clare, Grant and Max.
- Again, I fully agree that condescending is not a problem. Thinks needs editing. Cool. But no offence, you're taking it TOO FAR the other way. You're leaving too much out.
- A one episode appearance still has meat and information someone coming to her page SHOULD know. talking with Lexi is acftually a CORE bit of information you just completely removed. The summaries still need to inform people of stuff, your "one-line" edits do not. What's the point of even having these pages if you won't provide more one a vague, one lne?
- So no,not offended. Edits are fine, I can fluff when writing. But maybe...don't take out ALL The information next time? ErosionMitchell (talk) 05:11, 27 May 2026 (UTC)

"End of an Era" by Niall Horan
Hey there, you seem to have removed "End of an Era" by Niall Horan from the singles list part of the infobox on the Dinner Party album article. So I'm wondering, before I make any changes, is this actually not a single, but rather something else, like a promotional single? Or did you make a mistake, removing that song from the list? Soapoperadigest.com
Hi, hope you're well! I'm hoping you can satisfy my curiosity about the way you format soapoperadigest.com refs? I noticed here that you use cite magazine instead of cite web and I was wondering why? And where do you find the issn and oclc numbers? I haven't seen those added/used before. Thanks in advance. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:00, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi. Sorry for the delay in response. Wednesdays can be hectic on my end. I use {{Cite magazine}} for Soap Opera Digest because it was a physical magazine and while the physical publishing has ceased, articles continue to be published on its website. And per the template sidebar, {{Cite web}} is used for "web sources not covered by the above", which Soap Opera Digest is by the cite magazine template. And both the ISSN and OCLC numbers are located at the article's page within {{Infobox magazine}}. Bizarre
Hey, we haven’t talked in a while, hope you’re doing well. I saw that you’ve been contributing quite a bit of content to Confessions II and just thought I’d reach out to you for advice. What do you think of this, specifically, the part where it says "[t]he single, which Garrix hinted is titled 'Bizarre', is the fourth single from Madonna's upcoming 16-track release, out 3rd July. So far, she has shared 'I Feel So Free', 'Bring Your Love' with Sabrina Carpenter, and 'Love Sensation'
? DJ Mag is considered probably one of the more reliable sources in the EDM space but I don’t think it has that much weight in the pop space? Surely I’ll be reverted if I add this as the next single from album, but I do intend on making a standalone article for this song at some point if it gains traction. Hayman30 (talk) 14:26, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
- I would not put it in as a single, especially since it classifies the song as the fourth single—which contradicts the article and what is known: "I Feel So Free" was not a single from Confessions II, so already the lineup of singles per that citation is not valid. And while I do not discredit the publication's reliability—regardless of its genre-leaning preference—I do not believe it holds weight per WP:SINGLE?, especially when "Love Sensation" just impacted radio as the second single. livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:51, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

Real Housewives of Atlanta season 17 tag lines removed from page
How are taglines not permitted when taglines were on previous pages?? ~2026-38960-09 (talk) 22:30, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
- They are not permitted, per the Manual of Style for Television, WP:NOPROMO, WP:FANCRUFT, and WP:SELFPROMO. As well, you did not provide a single inline citation (properly cited) by a reliable source. Additionally, just because "previous pages" includes information does not mean all pages should, as other stuff exists on Wikipedia. Plus, tag lines is two words, not one. livelikemusic (TALK!) 22:39, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
Thanks (regarding After Hours til Dawn Tour)
Hi @Livelikemusic, I know it's small but thank you fr the messages you left in your edit summaries. When I first touched that article in 2023 I had a large disregard for the Wikipedia rules and I was a heavy contributor to that unsourced table of alterations. Even though the alterations are real, there's such a lack of sources for all of them that it's unrealistic for me to even try finding them. Furthermore, it was my first time editing a musician's tour article, so I'm glad to be properly learning how to organize and edit these articles from you, even if it is indirectly. I think I'll suggest stuff regarding any contributions for the article through the talk page instead, so someone with more experience than me, like you, can make the decision to add them. Happy editing! 𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘭'𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘺, 18:14, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- Oh, you are more than welcome. Again, the information was not the issue — it was more so how it was being added in. And I agree — the lack of sources is a bit... concerning, which is why that mass-large table was removed (as well as being in alignment with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines concerning verifiable information, et al.). And if you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask. I am more than happy to assist to the best of my abilities. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:39, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
A*Pop World Tour
Hi! I hope you’re doing well. Regarding the A*Pop World Tour article, I believe the tour meets WP:NTOUR, as it has received significant coverage from multiple independent reliable sources, including Billboard, Rolling Stone, NME, Pitchfork, or Pollstar among others. These sources go beyond routine announcements and provide independent editorial coverage of the tour. If there are specific concerns about the article’s structure, sourcing, or compliance with WP:NTOUR, I’d be happy to address them. I’d appreciate any feedback on what you think should be improved. Editedit446 (talk) 20:08, 28 July 2026 (UTC)
- It does not meet the WP:NTOUR requirement. Per NTOUR, it states: "[s]ources that merely establish that a tour happened are not sufficient to demonstrate notability." Sources merely stating that a tour is to take place does not mean it meets the NTOUR qualifications, nor do they reporting a tour is to happen also meet the qualifications of receiving "significant coverage" through independent, reliable sources. Looking at this edit, out of the twelve sources that were listed, eight of them announce the same information (a.k.a. routine announcements). Additionally, the other sources more so benefit the A*Pop article (which is where any information beyond a tour announcement comes from), and Ticketmaster is not an acceptable source on Wikipedia. It does not meet the requirements to receive a standalone article at this time. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:17, 28 July 2026 (UTC)

Question
When reverting my edit, what did you mean by "ew"? This is NOT me trying to restore my edit, I'm genuinely curious. Ryanisgreat4444 (talk) 17:07, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, it had nothing to do with your edit. It had to do with U.S. Radio Updater itself. While I understand its inclusion per talk discussion, I am an editor is pretty vehematly against use of social media as a "reliable" source on Wikipedia. Sorry for the confusion. livelikemusic (TALK!) 17:45, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Okay. That's what I was referring to. I feel like USRU is currently the only source to give explicit impact dates for songs. Ryanisgreat4444 (talk) 20:11, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- The article date from the Hits article you provided would be the date; however, with another source (in this case, U.S. Radio Updater) contradicting that, it becomes a matter of WP:BURDEN to prove which is more correct. And U.S. Radio Updater even clarified things (via this post) which further explains things (impacted vs. serviced) livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:28, 1 August 2026 (UTC)

I used this wording in this version to reflect the fact that the Petal songs are all performed after the title track, and I based it on the earlier surprise a capella songs segment since these are also in rotation. Maybe that can help my case? ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 17:22, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- While I see where you are coming from, it is also two entirely different situations. Realistically, from my perspective on the "Alterations" section, it should really all be listed in sentence structure, via date it happened in the city, and not per "first" or "second" show per city. Had the surprise, a capella performances been more than select shows up to now, it would make more sense to relocate those into their own section, where bullet-point formatting would be more natural; however, it being mixed into "Alterations" at the present moment—which makes sense due to how short-lived it apparently has been—makes more sense at this present time. But its formatting does create a conflicting set up. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:10, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- Okay cool! I'll just go ahead and add "succeeding 'Petal'" to each sentences to reflect the added songs placement. I just wanna say, if she continues adding Petal songs after the title track, maybe we should consider rewording it into a surprise songs segment because they are all in the same placement, and keep repeating "succeeding 'Petal'" isn't the best for readers. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 04:16, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- I unfortunately had to change the set up, due to another user persistently being disruptive with their editing. Let me know what you think about it. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:28, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- I must admit, that is a bit overkill since there's too much repetition, but it works for now. We have another 2 days to figure out what's the best format. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 05:28, 6 August 2026 (UTC)

I apologize
Currently going through some extreme mental health issues due to multiple complex reasons, gonna take time away. If you need to put She's the Best articles in draftspaces, go right ahead. Eggpot (talk) 18:18, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- I appreciate the apology, Eggpot. I understand going through mental health issues, and I do want to wish you all the best in pursuing whatever it is you need to pursue in your time away to deal with said issues. Of course, there are outlets to assist in that, and if you need to pursue them, feel free to actively do so. All the best to you at this time. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:20, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
She's the Best (song)
Thanks for fixing that! I deleted my upload. I did a single search and didn't find the album, so I assumed there wasn't one. ASUKITE 14:00, 15 August 2026 (UTC)
- Of course. A lot of times, digital retailers (e.g., Spotify/Tidal) will just use the album cover in place of a single cover, especially in the modern music era. And the album is available for preorder on Apple Music and other retailers; however, only the latter publishes it online directly. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:39, 16 August 2026 (UTC)
Brandon Butler's page changes
I have some questions regarding your recent edits to Brandon Butler, while it is true that IMDb isn't a valid source on to itself, when listing information publicly accessible in movie or TV credits it is acceptable. In facto for past credited work no source is needed. I know this because I was the one who added them some years back after asking in the Community Portal, and receiving that response. I can no longer retrieve that discussion because, like I said, it's been a few years.
Moreover your edit completely erased most information about the actor in the "Life and Career" section, where I would argue all roles, except cameos or other one scene appearances deserve to be mentioned. I might've added to many minor roles, but your edit removed major credits including 13 Reasons Why, his first major role, and SEAL Team, where he appeared in several episodes.
Can you explain your reasoning for the changes?
If you can point to specific Wikipedia policies regarding both my points I'll leave your edits stand, if not I will restore the page to the state it had when I edited it on 22:05, August 27, 2026 (UTC). I'll go forward with the restoration in one week on the 4 September 2026.
I added a similar comment on Talk:Brandon Butler. John's Edits (talk) 17:50, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- As linked and explained in my edit summary, WP:IMDb explicitly states that IMDb is not an acceptable source, as it is user-generated content. Per WP:CITEIMDB, the only time it is an acceptable source is for writing credits marked with "WGA" and MPA ratings when provided by the Motion Picture Association. Otherwise, it should not be used as an inline citation for any reason whatsoever. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:24, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- I know about not using IMDb as a source as I researched it at the time, but since I was told that movie and TV credits themselves served as a valid source without reference, I merely wanted to provide a link to something. Removing the links to IMDb should've sufficed with those project's credits anchoring the entries even if not directly linked on the page. Why were they then removed as unsourced?
- Why was the entry about his upcoming return to Days of Our Lives completely altered including the source. Soap Opera News is reliable, you didn't remove it as a source for last's year's appearance as Zack Brady?
- I am trying to learn and become a better editor, not just been picky about a page I've been contributing to for some years now, so if my questions seem obvious, defensive or to be contrarian that is not my intention. John's Edits (talk) 19:50, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
Why were they then removed as unsourced?
- Because, without the IMDb citation(s), they become original research, which not only is not allowed on Wikipedia but it is be be removed altogether. Someone telling you a movie and TV credits serve as a valid source themselves, without reference, did not tell you the actual truth. Per WP:V, all information on Wikipedia should be verified with an inline citation, especially within an article's prose. Not to mention, per WP:NBLP, "[p]eople are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other". IMDb also does not meet the criteria.
Soap Opera News is reliable, you didn't remove it as a source for last's year's appearance as Zack Brady?
- Soap Opera News is not a reliable source. And I would have replaced the other source as I was intent on finding one. However, with you opening this dialogue, to avoid violating WP:STONEWALL, I was waiting for the dialogue to continue on.
I am trying to learn and become a better editor, not just been picky about a page I've been contributing to for some years now, so if my questions seem obvious, defensive or to be contrarian that is not my intention.
- No worries. You are fine. And I appreciate the questions. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:08, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for your answers and explanations.
- I've been misled then, I'll go hunting for a proper source at least for 13 Reasons Why, even if I can't find a casting, I know he gave an interview about the role to Seventeen Magazine and a few other proper sources. For Zack Brady last year it was covered by all the Soap Opera publications so I'm sure the one you used for his new role covered it. I'll change it as well. John's Edits (talk) 20:30, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- Just noticed 13 Reasons Why is properly sourced after all. I'll just add the text to "Life and Career" as I believe the first major role should be featured there. John's Edits (talk) 20:32, 28 August 2026 (UTC)
- Just remember to keep things neutral in the point of view for which you write. Nothing should read like it is a promotion tactic or fan point of view. And if it is cited in prose, it should not be cited within the lead, per WP:CITELEAD.
Removing and adding information
Hi Livelikemusic. I think we should remove the songs "2.0" and "Hooligan" from the list of singles in the article on the BTS album Arirang because I can't find any sources proving that they were released as singles, and a previous source from Billboard confirmed that "Normal" was released as the second single from the album. I already mentioned it on the main article talk page, but I have yet to receive a response. Also, in the article on the Meghan Trainor album Toy With Me, I want to add that the song "Little One" features her sons, as I have found a few articles confirming that. What do you think?
