Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at MasterChef (American season 10). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. MasterChef Australia

Please stop referring to participants in MasterChef Australia as "home cooks". The show website is absolutely clear that they are called contestants. Your frequent erroneous edits are tedious and unhelpful. Thanks, WWGB (talk) 02:16, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Do not add game scores until the game is over

I noticed that you updated the score of the Arkansas State-Central Arkansas game on the team's respective season articles. However, you edited the articles to have an incorrect score before the game was over. Wikipedia is not about predicting the future, so please refrain from updating scores until the game is officially over. BullDawg2021 (talk) 02:53, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

MasterChef editing

Can you please ease up on your rapid editing of MasterChef season 14? There is absolutely no need to be making constant edits while the episode is ongoing. You made over 20 edits in the two hours that the last two episodes was on the air. This isn't a race to be first, we want accuracy, so wait until the episode is over then make all the edits at once. Thanks - SanAnMan (talk) 17:08, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

Boxscores

Please stop updating boxscores before the game has finished. It makes it difficult to discern updated boxscores from partially updated boxscores, both for the sake of editing and for the sake of reading. Thanks. Useight (talk) 20:24, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

Do not update a team's record until the game is over

I've noticed you have updated records for NFL teams when the game is still in the third or early fourth quarters. Please refrain from doing that, as anything can happen at any point in a game. WNBA standings template edits

Hi Wa$hingtonFTFan26. First off, thanks for your help with WNBA edits so far this season!

One quick favor to ask. When updating the 2025 WNBA standings template post games, please don't forget also to update each team's games behind as well as their ranking among other teams.

Thanks again! Mariacricket (talk) 04:24, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Also, when updating scores on team's pages, please be sure to use an Em dash for the score of the game, and for a teams record! The easiest way for me to do thi is to click the button at the bottom of the editing window, right next to the dropdown that says insert. Thanks for your help! Swimmer33 (talk) 11:43, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
Just a note, the em dash also goes in the record column as well as the score column. Thanks! Swimmer33 (talk) 11:36, 26 May 2025 (UTC)

Here we go again

Hi! I have the honor of being the fifth person in the last nine-ish months to ask you to stop adding the "final scores" of athletic events while they are still ongoing. The score you added to 2025 Seattle Mariners season, which you added quite a while before the end of the game, contained the wrong score. Wikipedia is not a place for your predictions about the final score of a game. Please read WP:CRYSTALBALL and knock it off. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 04:55, 10 June 2025 (UTC)

And I guess I will now be the sixth person. Please don't make edits like this before the matches are final. Considering you have ignored every other warning, I will just consider this as a final one and then send it over to admin to see what they think. Adamtt9 (talk) 16:24, 23 July 2025 (UTC)

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing certain areas of Wikipedia for a period of indefinite for repeatedly modifying standings tables before games end, and adding scores before games end. You've been repeatedly warned about this by a multitude of users and have failed to acknowledge these concerns or respond in any respect. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Hammersoft (talk) 23:19, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
This is a partial block to prevent you from editing mainspace articles and templates until such time as you agree to stop updating scores while games are going on and stop updating standing tables until games actually complete. This block does not prevent you from editing other areas of Wikipedia, including responding to the thread discussing this problematic editing at WP:AN/I. --Hammersoft (talk) 23:19, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
I agree to stop. So when will the partial block expire? Wa$hingtonFTFan26 (talk) 23:40, 7 January 2026 (UTC)

@Jphwra: What is your concern with this edit? --Hammersoft (talk) 18:19, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
The fact that the game only took place yesterday, and the result, and one that doesn't correspond to reality, has already been there before. How is that? Jphwra (talk) 18:21, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
@Jphwra: So the result was posted before the game was complete? If so, can you show a URL that shows when the game completed? --Hammersoft (talk) 18:33, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
@Hammersoft: I apologize, I also addressed you on your discussion page. So, they played yesterday and the score was 6:0, not 1:2 as I wrote Wa$hingtonFTFan26. this is easily checked here: 2025–26 KNVB Cup. Because I actually edit sports articles in the Ukrainian-language section and correct them here if I see any mistakes. Jphwra (talk) 18:47, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
They actually added a result two days before the match even took place. Jphwra reverted that. They later put the correct score after it was actually played.
However, I note that they first incorrectly eliminated a team, quickly corrected, then added the score 7 minutes later.
I don't know that we're seeing violations of the live scores issue here, but we're definitely seeing errors due to rushing. CountryANDWestern (talk) 18:51, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
I would also like to note that there is no one named Robbemond who plays for AZ or O'Niel who plays for Ajax and that the 575 attendance is inconceivable for an AZ game in 2026. There is Rio Robbemond who plays for Jong AZ and Don O'Niel who plays for Jong Ajax. The result put in for the match was a game played between Jong AZ and Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie on 12 January.
How someone could realistically insert that result in on the 2025–26 KNVB Cup article on accident is beyond me unless maybe if the editor was operating with dozens of tabs open and not putting much thought into what they were doing. There is no current season Jong AZ or Jong Ajax articles so I'm unsure of where that result could've possibly been meant to go, but I'm not familiar with Dutch football so I may be missing a possible place it could've been meant to go. Raskuly (talk) 21:00, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Blocked again

You have been blocked from editing articles and templates for a period of indefinitely for resumption of prior behavior despite agreeing to stop the behavior as a result of the last block, and continued refusal to engage in conversation related to this behavior. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Hammersoft (talk) 20:36, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
I do not understand. I edited the 2025-26 Serie A league table after the first game ended. How does that qualify as resuming my previous behavior? Wa$hingtonFTFan26 (talk) 20:45, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
You added a false result to a game two days before the game happened . This came after you were blocked for this behavior. Thus, resumption of prior behavior. Further, there was an ongoing discussion here on your talk page regarding these issues that you ignored for 2+ days. Again, resumption of prior behavior. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:47, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
It's clear your editing patterns are rash, and is deemed disruptive to the project. I warned you myself, and that post above by Jphwra shows you can't be trusted as an editor. In my view Hammersoft's block is more than justified. Govvy (talk) 20:51, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

You already promised to stop, and demonstrated we cannot trust your word. You are exceptionally lucky, you still have the opportunity to demonstrate you really have learned. Make WP:EDITREQ for at least a month (I suggest 3 months). If these show you have actually learned and have stopped your disruptive editing, you can contest your block then. Should I directly edit Wikipedia:Banning Policy?  Preceding unsigned comment added by Wa$hingtonFTFan26 (talkcontribs) 16:00, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Why on earth would you do that, unless you are trying to have your block extended site-wide?!? --Yamla (talk) 21:01, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

WP:TOPICBAN: Sports

Why do you believe it is appropriate to change the example of a WP:TOPICBAN to a sports example? Do you not understand that the weather topic ban is an example and that topic bans don't only apply to weather and you think you have to change it to a sports example in order for it to apply to you? I genuinely don't understand what your purpose is with these unsigned messages and I'm replying mainly because even though I'm subscribed to the thread I didn't get a notification, but I do have your talk page on my watchlist. Raskuly (talk) 01:34, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

Deadlines

Please see WP:NODEADLINE. You are continuing to show you have absolutely no patience with respect to sporting events. It's a serious problem. There's absolutely no need whatsoever to add game results the day they happen. Or the next day. In fact, there's no deadline to do so, and you need to be okay with this. --Yamla (talk) 17:32, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

Blocked sitewide

As you have abusively used a sockpuppet account to evade your block and continue editing inappropriately, as determined at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Wa$hingtonFTFan26, I have extended your block site-wide. I will oppose any future unblock request that does not include a WP:TOPICBAN on sports, broadly construed. --Yamla (talk) 12:31, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Please note you now have two strikes against you with respect to WP:3X and any further violations will result in a community ban. These are much, much harder to come back from. --Yamla (talk) 12:34, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Wa$hingtonFTFan26, it's seriously disappointing that you chose to use a sockpuppet account rather learn the lesson from your prior blocks. You could be contributing positively here, but instead chose to work against our policies. Why you chose to do this is beyond me. You are obviously passionate about sports. That passion has been grossly misdirected into trying to trick this community. It doesn't work. There are hundreds of thousands of sockpuppets that people have attempted to use on this project. We are well versed in this and have dealt with it since the beginnings of this project 25 years ago. It isn't new. You aren't coming up with some cool way to get around your restrictions. Stop trying this, PLEASE. We can use your passion here, but not if all you are going to do is skirt around our policies and guidelines and keep including sports scores for games that haven't even happened yet. Unfortunately, I concur with Yamla that if you are to be unblocked, it must include a WP:TOPICBAN on sports, broadly construed. Under such terms, you can demonstrate your trustworthiness in other areas of the project and maybe in six months you can appeal your topic ban and begin contributing to sports again. I hope you choose wisely, rather than attempt to sockpuppet again. --Hammersoft (talk) 13:21, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Request reason:

WP:TOPICBAN: Sports

sports-related articles and lists, such as List of NFL team records, and their talk pages sports-related categories such as all of the categories Category:Sports sports-related project pages, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Sports discussions or suggestions about sports-related topics anywhere on Wikipedia, for instance, a deletion discussion concerning an article about a quarterback but also including edit summaries and the user's own user and talk pages (including sandboxes)

Decline reason:

Merely copy-pasting bits and pieces of the definition of a topic ban shows insufficient understanding. If you want to be unblocked you will need to show much more understanding - a topic ban from sports is necessary but not sufficient. The other task would be convincing us that you won't continue to show the same willful contempt for Wikipedia's rules you showed in creating a new account, which you have made no attempt at doing. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:34, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

I used CheckUser, but didn't find any accounts other than LarryL097 which was found in the SPI. PhilKnight (talk) 04:54, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Request reason:

WP:TOPICBAN: Sports articles about sports teams such as the Washington Nationals articles about sports leagues such as Major League Baseball articles about sporting competitions such as the World Series articles about athletes, living or deceased, such as Barry Bonds After reflection, I realize I was wrong to create a sockpuppet. I understand that my passion for sports does not outweigh Wikipedia's rules and that all edits I make must be genuine and in good faith.

Decline reason:

Reviewing the page as a whole, I'm seeing no acknowledgment from you regarding similar issues in topics other than sports. Your appeal needs to be more holistic, and would benefit from an explanation of why you ever thought these edits were appropriate in the first place. signed, Rosguill talk 20:41, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi there! Could you explain why you were blocked and what you would do differently if unblocked? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 20:33, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

I was blocked for disruptively editing sports articles using a sockpuppet account. If unblocked I will stop making live score edits. Wa$hingtonFTFan26 (talk) 22:58, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

I acknowledge and accept that my edits on MasterChef (American TV series) season 10 and other TV series articles were disruptive and wrong. I believed the edits included additional, relevant information and were constructive. I now know that they were inappropriate.

Decline reason:

This unblock request doesn't mention that you abused multiple accounts with the LarryL097 account. I think you should take the standard offer and re-apply in six months time with no more abuse of multiple accounts. PhilKnight (talk) 02:32, 8 March 2026 (UTC)

I acknowledge that all edits made via the abuse of the LarryL097 and Wa$hingtonFTFan26 accounts were inappropriate and wrong. I pledge to stop posting live scores and false information and to stop abusing accounts.

I'm glad you acknowledge these things. Please come back in six months. asilvering (talk) 21:21, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

To be clear, you are rejecting the path offered you by PhilKnight, correct? Be aware, this will count against you. --Yamla (talk) 10:29, 8 March 2026 (UTC)

That is correct.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Wa$hingtonFTFan26 (talkcontribs)

Banned

Due to your continued block evasion, you are now considered banned by the community under WP:3X. --Yamla (talk) 13:33, 30 March 2026 (UTC)

Idea

This may not be possible, but I think it would work:

In addition to a partial block on sports, TV, and food and drink (and any other problem areas), every edit made byWa$hingtonFTFan26 would be set on a 1 day wait time, then they would go into effect. If anyone touched one of the words which the edit concerns before the edit goes into effect, the edit wouldn’t happen.

Is this possible? Any thoughts? Wikipedian12512 (talk) 23:53, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedian12512, I'm pretty sure that isn't possible to do. Also, I don't believe you can partial block that many pages (especially because we would have to identify every single page first), instead it would be better in the form of a TBAN. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 23:57, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
