The 1954 Maryland comptroller election was held on November 2, 1954, in order to elect the comptroller of Maryland. Democratic nominee and incumbent comptroller J. Millard Tawes won re-election as he ran unopposed.[1]
Results
On election day, November 2, 1954, Democratic nominee J. Millard Tawes won re-election as he ran unopposed, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of comptroller. Tawes was sworn in for his fourth overall term on January 3, 1955.[2]
