We're still finishing it now, mid-April! I was watching it at 2am, writing notes in pencil on the hotel notepad. So tonight, on 17 April, we'll sign off the final mix. We're right to the wire on it!

    QPQ: Done.
Overall: New enough, long enough. Hook facts are interesting, though I find myself favouring the first. No close paraphrasing found.   Chris Woodrich (talk) 22:27, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

Hey, since I have reviewed most episodes from this season I thought I would review this one :D Well done on your hard work! Here are my comments for improvement:

Lead: I think a sentence about the deleted scenes and the delay to production would be beneficial here.  Done

Infobox: I would honestly remove "2nd of 2-part story" from this infobox and "Wish World"'s one, as the information in the lead explains that it is the second part of the story and having it in this section suggests that the two episodes are 66 minutes in total.  Not done - This format has been the standard for years and would likely necessitate a project-wide discussion outside the scope of this review

    Plot:

    1. Could you briefly explain who Anita is?  Done
    2. Could you please briefly explain why Conrad wished for the earth to be in a time loop? I know it is because he is working with the Rani etc, but why is this?  Done
    3. "reminding him of how he would save her as a baby as well" - I was a bit confused by this? Could you perhaps please reword?  Done - this actually happened so made it past tense with end note

    Development:

    1. "throughout the era" - Could you please clarify this? Does this mean the past two series or longer? Also, can you please give examples?  Done
    2. "After warning prior to release that it "shakes up the lore of Gallifrey", Davies included an explanation for the concept of "bigeneration"—a twist on the long-time concept of regeneration—that was first seen in "The Giggle" (2023) was given" - I think this needs rewording as I struggled to understand it. Also, what does "it" refer to?  Done - the "was given" at the end wasn't necessary and from a former version of the sentence, I think that makes it clearer (along with the clarification of it)
    3. "Doctor falling to his death on a balcony" - Should it be "from" a balcony?  Not done - the whole balcony literally fell off the building with the Doctor in it 😅
    4. "creating the Time Hotel for "Joy to the World" provided him a solution to that concept" - Could you please explain how it gave him that solution?  Done

    Casting:

    1. "led some to believe" - Could you please clarify if this was viewers, critics or both (or others) believing this?  Done - its all (I guess) so reworded to avoid needing to name a specific group
    2. "while Jonah Hauer-King, Ruth Madeley, Michelle Greenidge, Sienna-Robyn Mavanga-Phipps, Jemma Redgrave, Susan Twist, Alexander Devrient, Bonnie Langford, and Angela Wynter reprise their roles from the previous episode" - Could you please say who they portray?  Done
    3. Could you please briefly add that Capaldi and Tennant played Whittaker's predecessor and successor to give context with readers unfamiliar with this fact?  Done

    Filming and post-production:

    1. Could you briefly explain what the "action sequences" are? As there are many scenes that could fit this criteria Already done - specifically says action sequences on a personal transporter
    2. The page for Day of the Daleks says that it was broadcast in 1972, so I fixed it slightly Already done - by you
    3. "practical Dalek prop on set "to tie it altogether"." - Could you please perhaps slightly expand on this to explain what "tie it altogether" means? I do not see the link between that and the prompt and other readers may have the same issue  Done
    4. "Principal photography on the series" - Could you please specify that it was the fifteenth series?  Done
    5. "Susan Foreman, a character portrayed by Carole Ann Ford who was re-introduced to the programme as the Doctor's granddaughter two episodes prior after an absence of over forty years, and Ruby" - This sentence is quite long and can be a bit confusing - could you potentially please cut it into two sentences if possible?  Done
    6. Is there any information on when filming/production finally finished?  Not done - Sadly not, the final mix date is the best we have

    Broadcast and reception:

    1. "It is the first global simulcast of an episode" - Could you please clarify if this is just DW episodes or all television episodes?  Done
    2. Could you please clarify what "consolidated figures" means?  Done
    3. "Piper's return to the programme was met with more mixed reviews and controversey" - Could you please expand on this a bit?  Done
    4. Since a lot of critics here criticise the sideling/character arc of Belinda, could you potentially explain why they felt she had a bad finish/how she was sidelined?  Done

Once these have been addressed, I will do a source spotcheck and pass the article - please let me know if you have any questions at all or need help! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:38, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: I believe everything has been addressed here; as usual, thanks for the review! TheDoctorWho (talk) 05:27, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
Hey, thank you so much for the changes, they look great! Just one minor comment - in the reception, could you please replace "bookended" as many readers may not know what it means and the definitions on google etc aren't 100% consistent. However, it is not a major issue so I am going to pass this, well done! I have spotchecked Sources #1, #5, #9, #15, #28 and #32. Well done again :D DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 03:43, 19 June 2025 (UTC)

    Semi-protected edit request on 24 June 2025

The first line of Casting should be changed from "The episode sees the departure of Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson, and Varada Sethu in their roles as the fifteenth incarnation of The Doctor, Ruby Sunday, and Belinda Chandra, respectfully."

to "The episode sees the departure of Millie Gibson, Varada Sethu, and Ncuti Gatwa in their roles as Ruby Sunday, Belinda Chandra, and the fifteenth incarnation of The Doctor, respectively."

This avoids an implication that the other characters also have a fifteenth incarnation, and fixes the typo of "respectfully" instead of "respectively". Tomanius222 (talk) 09:37, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

Partly done: "Respectfully" has been changed to "respectively." I don't think the remainder of the sentence is unclear or needs to be changed. Day Creature (talk) 15:44, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

" … with whom he befriended while spending an year. … "

' … who he befriended while spending a year with. … " should be " … with whom he befriended while spending an year."  Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.174.239.209 (talk) 06:36, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

'a year' is correct over 'an year', because the y in this case is acting as a consonant and not a vowel (, ); no opinion on whether someone else implements the rest. TheDoctorWho (talk) 07:13, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

    reception section

Could Stephen Kelly's review be summarised in the reception section? He also disliked the Poppy subplot and the use of Anita (Steph de Whalley). I also don't know if the following two sources can be used, especially as the second one is a bit preachey. :) 78.150.15.34 (talk) 15:39, 26 June 2025 (UTC) https://comicsxf.com/2025/06/05/doctor-who-reality-war/ https://www.voicemag.uk/review/15257/doctor-who-the-reality-war-finale-review-and-why-it-leaves-a-bad-taste-spoilers

    Zero Room

Just how irrelevant is the mention of the Zero Room? It's an established device in Doctor Who that was introduced in "Castrovalva" and @Alex 21: wants it removed because of "Plot Bloat"? It was practically only one word, and if that's how it is, why don't we just take "The Vindicator" and call it a special device? Yeah it's probably a name drop, but that's the name of the room they choose. You wanna talk about plot bloat, the whole episode and story is a mess in explanation! The "Reality War" didn't end with this episode it started after the credits! Maxcardun (talk) 13:05, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Please discuss this calmly. The plot of this episode doesn't change with an additional two words; the meaning does not change with an in-universe term being included. Connecting it to Castrovalva is also unsourced trainspotting; that particular serial isn't even mentioned in this article. The Vindicator, however, is a recurring feature across almost every episode of this season. Your opinion on the episode's quality is also irrelevant to a discussion here, and is probably more welcomed at the TARDIS Wiki. -- Alex_21 TALK 22:46, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
Sadly this editor has canvassed another editor for a third opinion instead of doing it properly. Doug Weller talk 13:55, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
