Request to merge "Draft:Nope Your Too Late I Already Died" into this article

I created "Draft:Nope Your Too Late I Already Died", but most of its main sources are already covered in this draft. Would it be appropriate to merge the song article into the Wifiskeleton draft, perhaps under the "Breakthrough" or its own section? This would avoid creating a separate article with overlapping sources. Monkegamer123 (talk) 16:58, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Is it possible to move this page to a renamed version titled Wifiskeleton, this will make it easier for people trying to search for him, and will appeal/appear more online. Gdshordy (talk) 00:42, 9 January 2026 (UTC)

Allegations

Should his allegations be added here or no? Kaddafi JR (talk) 00:25, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

weren't the allegations false? InsertmonKier (talk) 19:56, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
They should still be mentioned as far as I'm aware Reallythatdunce (talk) 16:13, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
That’s debatable, but it should still be mentioned because the allegations are what started the downfall of his career on the internet. Kaddafi JR (talk) 16:16, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
oh ok InsertmonKier (talk) 17:49, 1 April 2026 (UTC)

Move request

  • Jeremiah Justin Simms → Wifiskeleton

– The page should get moved to "Wifiskeleton" due to that being his COMMONNAME. Monkegamer123 (talk) 04:06, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

Draftification Request

This article originated in draft space and was accepted via AfC. Coverage primarily uses the moniker “Wifiskeleton,” and I understand the concerns regarding prior salting and name-shifting. In light of this, draftification would be an appropriate outcome rather than deletion, allowing further improvement and consensus review without circumventing WP:SALT. ~2026-74544-4 (talk) 14:41, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Seems like it’s a decently written article and doesn’t need to be drafted, couldn’t someone just move it to an article named Wifiskeleton? NP2026576180 (talk) 01:55, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
In a proposed deletion, KyleSirTalksAlot stated that Wifiskeleton is protected under WP:SALT and that using his full name is seen as an attempt to bypass that protection. They also noted that, while the subject may be notable, a draft should be created rather than working around the salt—despite the page already having been a draft. Monkegamer123 (talk) 02:05, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
Yes, I believe it could be draftified until you can get approval for unprotection under WP:RFUP, or just get it unprotected and move it. I don't think it needs to be deleted. KyleSirTalksAlot (talk) 18:09, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
If you want to make a proper article use this source https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/inside-the-online-indie-music-boom/. It's reputable since its pitchfork and it makes a lot of mentions of wifiskeleton and how he inspired a new wave of indie music Aradicus77 (talk) 08:40, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

Speedy

@Pppery: I had initially intended to decline this based on the Pitchfork source, as it was published after the AfD closed. I'm not entirely sure though that this is enough to overturn the prior AfD. Part of me thinks that it may be a good idea to run this through AfD once again, as there may be other sources that also make a similar claim.

I'm going to see what another admin thinks though. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 14:26, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

I found a few additional non-English news sources covering Wifiskeleton / Jeremiah Justin Simms. Are these considered reliable and usable to support notability?

Even if non-English articles don't count, he 100% has enough coverage at this point to overturn AfD. Hollywood Life, Billboard, Pitchfork, Mint, The Mirror, etc.
Maybe he wasn't notable enough when Wifiskeleton was salted, but it's been a long time since then, more than long enough to reconsider notability NP2026576180 (talk) 02:25, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
All but one of those sources predate the AfD. And also seeing so many single-purpose accounts doing nothing but try to defend this article is more likely to convince me some sort of antics are afoot. * Pppery * it has begun... 02:36, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
That isn't true. If I remember correctly, the original article was deleted in early May, which would've been months before the Billboard and Pitchfork articles were written. Also, keep in mind that a lack of notability wasn't the only problem with the original page; it was also just a poorly written article with AI-written portions and a lack of sources cited, which isn't the case with this one NP2026576180 (talk) 20:52, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
Wifiskeleton is a popular gen Z artist, he has 7 million monthly listeners at the moment. He died last year unexpectedly and so many of his fans are I guess creating this page in tribute. A similar thing happened just a few months ago with Maxon Margiela but for some reason that page was not deleted even tho most of its sources were Churnalist sites. So I'm confused why Wifiskeleton who is far more successful is constantly being deleted Aradicus77 (talk) 04:36, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
If you think Maxon Margiela should be deleted you are welcome to take it to AfD. WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not convincing. * Pppery * it has begun... 04:59, 9 February 2026 (UTC)
Shouldn't Billboard and Pitchfork be notable enough for wifiskeleton? Aradicus77 (talk) 17:05, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because the first article that was deleted via discussion was initially another article, but was then moved to this article to fix the flaws that prevented it from becoming an article. If you look at the logs of the original AFD discussion and look the logs in the deleted article that are within the same time frame, you would find that the original draft (that originally went through AFD) was much different than the current article(Jeremiah Justin Simms), and the errors in the original(such as unverifiable alternative names, occupations, relatives, groups, and many other forms of unsourced plagiarism that likely came from tabloid articles and fandom wikis) were why it was deleted.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Azzræl (talkcontribs) 21:35, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

What you describe is precisely the WP:G4 issue at hand, "[G4] applies to [recreating] sufficiently identical copies, having any title, of a page deleted" (bolding my own emphasis) and precisely why this has been nominated for speedy, since it was deleted at AFD with the Wifiskeleton title July 20th 2025, then created the very next month on August 20, 2025 (with the tag recreated). This is WP:GAMENAMEing, and is a violation of policy. this WP:RPPD discussion kicked things off here. Zinnober9 (talk) 22:11, 6 February 2026 (UTC)

Jeremiah Justin SimmsWifiskeleton – Per WP:COMMONNAME, the article should be titled using the name that reliable, independent sources most commonly use. In music journalism, interviews, streaming platforms, and coverage of underground hip-hop scenes, the artist is overwhelmingly referred to simply as Wifiskeleton rather than Jeremiah Justin Simms. The stage name is the primary and most recognizable identifier used in reliable sources and professional contexts, making it the natural and predominant usage. Retitling the article to Wifiskeleton would therefore align with Wikipedia’s naming conventions and improve recognizability and consistency. Aradicus77 (talk) 21:12, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
