For one thing, your change to the Infobox (from {{Infobox royal house}} to {{Infobox former country}}) directly contravenes the consensus that was reached in July 2014 on Talk:Pahlavi dynasty. Also, your changes represent an almost entire rewrite of the article, changing its focus from the royal house itself to the history of Iran while under the rule of the Pahlavis. Rebel leaders during Achaemenid period

I noticed that you had removed Pedubastis III from the 27th dynasty on the List of pharaohs's page. This does leave out rulers from the list however. I put Pedubastis III back in and Psammetichus IV as well but put in a footnote saying that they are only there due to chronological reasons. I thought I would reach out since you had been doing some editing. My reason for it was that this page is meant to list all the Pharaohs, so more inclusive seemed like the right thing to do. They are also listed as 27th dynasty on their respective pages with the same footnote. This way the articles are at least consistent with each other. Regards AB (talk) 23:19, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

I have not been able to find a good source but Nader shah conquering the khanate of khiva and the khanate of bukhara is mentioned many times on other articles. Yet i will keep searching and though this may be hard for you try to be patient

If you change the map back it would contradict with at least AT LEAST 10 articles i have found. The only wikipedia article that helps your central asian claim is an article that says the oxus river was his border, yet the same article says nader fully cinquered the khanate of bukhara. These 2 peices of information contradict each other because the khanate of bukharas most easternly border was close to the syr darya. I am still curious as to why so many articles written by different users, show the same information, yet is not sourced???!!!!???!!!! i would love to hear you opinion on this please

I have found this image to support my claim. each image of to swords forming an x is PROBABLY the location's of a major battle which if you look carefully if above the oxus river, which encyclopedia iranica, shows as the empires northeastern border. The image comes from a chat site so i;m sure the image doesnt originate from there, and hopefully it originates from a sourced site. when ive found a good source i will add it to the afsharid empire article

I read the book: History of inner asia and it says mohhamad hakim bi submitted to nadir shah (exact sentence: Nadir Shah, the new ruler of Iran, crossed the Amu Darya and, accepting the submission of Muhammad Hakim Bi) It says naders name and it says he crossed the amu darya aka oxus river so your map is wrong because it shows the oxus as a border. It then says mohhamed hakim bi submitted to nadir. After a search i found he was king of the manghit dynasty which controlled the khanate of bukhara. here is the link to the page of the book: http://librarun.org/book/63545/195. I will add this data to the afsharid empire page. I really want to thank you, because now wikipedia has solid evidence from a university book, that nader shah had in fact crossed the amu darya aka oxus and that he conquered more of central asia than originally beleived. The pahlavi dynasty article is about the royal family, the acctual name of the country was imperial state of iran, since searching that takes you to history of iran i decided to create the seperate article called pahlavi stat of Iran which would be about the former country. you made it a link to the pahlavi dynasty article, these are 2 seperate pages, 1 about the family, one about the former country. I dont think its a copyright violation if its from a wikipedia article, that information and images and etc is available to all to copy and paste. I would like to let you know that I have read and studied the policies of wikipedia and I will add a source but tell me if you found this symbol carved into the tomb of an ancient king would you not think of it as some sort of dynastic or Imperial symbol? Since I'm very sire it'll be hard to find a source

It doesn't seem like that image can be found anywhere else. Doug can I just write: symbol that can be found at the tomb of Cyaxares rather than calling it a flag. Because the symbol does acctually appear at his tomb (search it up please ☺). If so I think we'll be ok.

Just changing words or moving them around won't do. You should not be able to look at your rewording and the original and guess one was copied from the other.

Given the amount of warnings and advice you've been given and the concern of others, I suggest you ask for a mentor. If you continue to ignore the advice you've been given (copyright issues, adding material that is your own opinion and not sourced to reliable sources (which would almost always be academic for the topics you are interested in), etc, I have to question whether you can edit unadvised. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Medes. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. There is no source saying that what is considered the flag of the achaemenid empire is the actual flag. Mayne not a flag but it some sort of important symbol since it appeared at the tomb of Cyaxares so it can be considered some kind of dynastic or Imperial symbol of the time. And you've changed it at List of largest empires despite it having two sources there. You are continually ignoring some of our basic policies and seem unwilling to change your behavior. Are you sure you wouldn't like a WP:MENTOR?

Im sorry I was lazy when editing the list of larget empires article and I didn't add the proper sources but trust me there are academic sources. You can find those sources that state he conquered delhi ankara and damasxus, on the reference list on the Timur/tamerlane article. I would live it if you could help me add those sourcesbto the list of largest empires article but if not I'll do it myself. But I'll be busy for a while so I'll do it sometime at 12:00 am.

No, you need reliable sources giving the size of the empire at a particular time, in this case 1405. Even then we'd probably have to list both numbers. And what you did ended up with numbers that looked as they were sourced but contradicted the source. Note that it appears that by 1405 Delhi was independent. Damascus was sacked but so far as I can see continued to be Mamluk - being conquered doesn't mean it was made part of the empire, if conquered just means he sacked it and left. But none of that matters, what matters is that you need sources meeting our criteria saying "In the year X the Timurid empire covered Y square km". Without that we can't say anything.

While I'm at it, a footnote mentioning yourself is more evidence that you despite your keen interest in editing and hard work still don't understand how Wikipedia works. This is why I am suggesting that you get a mentor, an experienced editor that can help you. I can't do that because of my other responsibilities on Wikipedia. I'd strongly suggest that you ask for one, as if this continues I'll have to make a report to WP:ANI and see if others think that you can be helped or if it is necessary to block you from editing. Yes I have seen that map. It's spread on the internet. It's not a reliable source as it doesn't state where it got its references and sources from. You can't base your facts from maps, which ever individual on the planet can fabricate and claim that its factual. Iran only ruled the Caucasus and parts of Turkmenistan under the Qajars. Also I just reverted your edits on Azad Khan Afghan, as once again you decided to create a map based on unsourced text. He was a warlord, not an empire creator. (1987), "Āzād Khan Afḡān", in: Encyclopædia Iranica, Vol. III, Fasc. 2, pp. 173-174. Online (Accessed February 20, 2012). According to the information, He captured or had control over: Isfahan, Tabriz, Urmia, Azerbaijan, eastern kurdistan, Northern Persia, Southwestern turkemenistan, which is exactly what i did to the map. You are still very confused. First, sources must explicitly back the text for which they are cited. Thus sources that don't mention a dynasty (like yours), can't be used to claim a dynasty existed. Please read WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. WP:VERIFY states:

The creator of the work (for example, the writer)

All three can affect reliability.

Base articles on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Source material must have been published, the definition of which for our purposes is "made available to the public in some form".^[1] Unpublished materials are not considered reliable. Use sources that directly support the material presented in an article and are appropriate to the claims made. The appropriateness of any source depends on the context. The best sources have a professional structure in place for checking or analyzing facts, legal issues, evidence, and arguments. The greater the degree of scrutiny given to these issues, the more reliable the source. Be especially careful when sourcing content related to living people or medicine.

If available, academic and peer-reviewed publications are usually the most reliable sources, such as in history, medicine, and science.

A personal website is not reliably published. An architect, even one at a university, isn't a reliable source for history. If there was such a dynasty you could easily find good sources stating that it existed (using the word dynasty). What you are doing is interpreting sources, and that's original research. He did rule over a geographical entity and participated in wars to expand his borders. His ability to circulate currency is further evidence. On my edit I added sources to prove he was a king not to prove his empires existence though he did rule over a geographical entity since it was list of KINGS of Persia not list of Empires of Persia. It was not a hoax article the empire existed and he even circulated currency. But it had no name and was small and unpopular. But that geographic entity existed and there were wars to keep it alive. Out of lack of any name provided by historians I did what happens to many other empires and named it after it's first king Azad khan afghan. Same happened with the Ottoman Empire with its first king being osman. All evidence of what I just said can be found in the reference list of Azad khan afghan article and my reverted edits on list of KINGS of Persia.}}

You're still misunderstanding the core principle of original research. Wikipedia editors can't say 'someone was a king of some land and therefore it must have been an empire so I'll write an article about an empire.' We need reliable sources to call it an empire. Hello this is my second account. I'm artin Mehraban and I shouldn't continue to defend myself when I know I've done wrong. Though IV said sorry many times and yet continued my wrongdoings, you should understand that I did not mean to violate Wikipedia policy and I did noT mean to create hoax pages and make claims without proper sourcing. All my actions are a result of my opinion and as a result copyvio happened hoax articles were made. People have been to nice when warning me and I've been horrible back to them. Samwalton9, i have used wikipedia many time in a public library with free wifi. though i dont think people who visit the library are too interested in wikipedia (since there are books as sources), i have also edited wikipedia in mccdonalds free wifi. Can this cause any problems for other users?

I've also made many many bad edits and since i cant revert, ill list the recently made bad edits here. of course dont trouble yourself, as im sure your busy (doug weller and samwalton9). but if any other editors feel my bad edits need to be reverted see the list below (note i have made many decent or good edits as well)

Karim khan zand (i added a cloured version of the original portrait. pretty sure its not a copyright vio but just in case, i added it here)
Coele-Syria. I added the Persian period, without realizing that, the article was about a Macedonian province, and not a syrian region. (the maps of the achaemenid empire need to be removed basically)
list of kings of persia section median empire. (I added kashtariti as a predessesor of deioces, though he wasnt and was simply the leader of a city. I would like any editor who removes this edit, to also add kashtariti as deioces father (in the family relations section. of course if im wrong dont add that)
list of kings of persia sections: Muzaffarids, kara koyunlu, ak koyunlu (Those empires were originally shown in a different way and i made them in the same format as the other empires. but i didnt make any links to other articles example: Nader Shah. though the information is accurate and you will find sources (wikipedia also states the same details that i included but alas wikipedia articles cant be used by wikipedia as a source), there are a few issues and instead of reverting, i would like editors to fix this problem. i just didnt see why those 3 dynasties had to be formatted differently for some reason. And yes their territories included parts of modern day iran. in fact the muzzafarids were right in the middle of modern iran, while the ak koyunlu's borders seem to be based of the iranian plateau according to the map. and the kara koyunlu ruled iranian azerbaijan. I beleive i also made a few errors with the dating. I also wanna let editors know that in arabic, ibn means son of. so if one of their full names is for example: artin ibn amir, then you know that kings father/family relation is amir.

I'd quickly like to mention that the azad empire article was my first and last hoax article. though i created other pages that started out badly, with limited information and no sourcing, other users were able to fix them, but they werent hoaxes. I've still made many copyright vios which i understand, but i dont consitstently make hoax articles, only once. (examples of articles created by artin that turned out well: Karim Hakimi & Kashtariti)

My last will on wikipedia is for the image of azad khan afghan be added back. not the duplicate, but the original. Its not a copyright VIO as i explained why its in fair use, it has good sourcing, coming from the british library. If theres a reason it shouldnt be added back to the azad khan article, please do not tell me. i dont want to waste your time. his article seemed almost empty and so i wanted to contribute so i searched the web to find portraits, info, etc about him to add on. Because for some reason it would not allow me to edit my talk page. Also I am blocked and If like it if you add that image to the Azad khan afghan page yourself,since I am powerless to help

I admit my copyright violations are consistant but I have only made 1 hoax page. And I was not purposely trying to vandalize Wikipedia, I just wanted to make a contribution based on sources from webstie: Azadkhanafghan.Com. I though it was reliable because the creator of the website was from the University of Massachusetts after I did a web searcG. I admit to copyright vios but I have stopped since 1 day before I was banned. The last copyright violation I made was when I uploaded a cropped version of a copyrighted image of Azad khan afghan. I didn't violite on purpose. My reason is that On the Wikipedia app wide images appear at the beginning of an article bUT tall images don't. Because of that the image that was placed as azad khans portrait did.not appear first and the first image to appear was his coins. So I uploaded a version of the portrait that was wider so that it would appear on the Wikipedia app Azad khan afghan page first, not realising it violates copyright. I didn't mean to do these things though I was warned many times to get a mentor, but because uses kept calling me a nuisance and an annoyance, I didn't want to bother anybody. I ask for a second chance to redeem myself. I will stop all copyright vios and I will ask a mentor/Wikipedia expert before saving a page. I have no intent to vandalize on wikipedia and I just wanted to contribute. Not to mention that i have made alt of good articles and non copyright vios like the kashtariti article and the portraits of Sadiq khan, Jafar khan, and other articles from that website. Hello I am Artin Mehraban and I understand that I made consistent copyright violations and one hoax page but I did not do these things to vandalize Wikipedia. I didn't do these things on purpose. I love persian history and I just wanted to contribute. In fact I have created quite a few good non hoax articles that were edited by other users. I have also made quite a few helpfull contributions and i can make more. The hoax article I created was because of my bad interpretation of information from the website azadkhanafghan.Com which I thought was a good source because the creator of the site was from the University of Massachusetts. as for my other accounts, I used them to appeal my blocks because at times it would not allow me to appeal on my talk page using the account Artin Mehraban. I also did this so I could appeal my block on the talk page of an administrator. As for user Meeeep101, I did not create that account. Ok. i did create other accounts but not to evade block. i did that for these reasons:

For some reason it did not let me edit my own talk page
I needed to communicate with other administrators.

The administrator who banned me beleived that an account called meeeep101 was my creation under WP:Duck. I did not create that account, and (being a muslim) i am not allowed to lie. Considering users like HistoryofIran and LouisAragon have been angry by me they COULD have done this so that standard offer would be broken since it says not to make sock accounts and etc. I did not make that account and i used account Artin Mehraba2 to write something on my talk page when it for some reason didnt allow me to, and i used account Artin Mehraban101 to speack to administrators. Had i really wanted to continue editing unlawfully, i would obviously make a nam that is not artin Mehraban. since the 2 accounts i made have the same name as my main account, its obvious i was not trying to hide anything.
