Mainul Ahsan Noble moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Mainul Ahsan Noble, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Non-free rationale for File:AB Siddique.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:AB Siddique.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —JJMC89(T·C) 02:00, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

Deprodding of Siddique Nazmul Alam

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Siddique Nazmul Alam, which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, proposed deletion is disallowed on articles that have previously been de-prodded, even by the page's creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{proposed deletion}} template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shafiqur Rahman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page HSC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your draft article, Draft:Monir Khan Shimul

Hello, DelwarHossain. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Monir Khan Shimul".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Lapablo (talk) 11:50, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Itihas Academy

Notice

The article Itihas Academy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Searches in English and Bengali found only two sources deeper than a directory listing or passing mention: the academy's website and the Banglapedia article. The author of the later is Fazilatun Nessa, who is on the executive committee of the academy and thus not independent. With no independent sources, the topic does not meet WP:GNG and should not be the subject of a stand alone article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Abdur Rahim (Disambiguation)

Hello DelwarHossain,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Abdur Rahim (Disambiguation) for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.

If you don't want Abdur Rahim (Disambiguation) to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, DelwarHossain. Thank you for your work on Bangladesh Academy of Sciences Fellowship. Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thanks for updating the content about these fellows on Wikipedia! However, much of the content is already at Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, which is a short page, is easily updated/expanded to accommodate the notable content here. Please do consider proposing a split if that page gets too big.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Klbrain (talk) 09:51, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

@Klbrain: Bangladesh Academy of Sciences'' is an organization and Fellowship is her notable activity. They give fellowship continue. Like other awards or fellowships, this can be a separate article. So I want to create a separate article Bangladesh Academy of Sciences Fellowship. Like that Bangla Academy and Bangla Academy Literary Award. I can make it big if given a chance.. --DelwarHossain (talk) 10:19, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

Call Ready

Your recent edits to Call Ready created many problems in the article:

  • Seven of the 25 references are now named references that are undefined
  • Two references (Kaler Kantho and RTV) are duplicated, with neither instance being fully defined
  • There is a high degree of WP:CITEKILL, with one sentence citing six sources and another sentence citing seven
  • The final paragraph added cites no sources

Are you going to fix these issues? There are other problems of focus, WP:COATRACKING, and spelling, but those types of problems aren't as difficult for someone else to fix. --Worldbruce (talk) 15:39, 12 September 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Shimul Garden

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shimul Garden, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fram (talk) 09:33, 17 February 2025 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Abrar Fahad (Bangladesh)

Hello DelwarHossain, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Abrar Fahad (Bangladesh), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abrar Fahad (Bangladesh).

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|GrabUp}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi! I've noticed some of your contributions on Bangladesh-related articles like Aviary and Eco-Park, Rangunia, and think it shows that you're exactly the kind of editor we need at WikiProject Bangladesh. Please consider this your personal invitation to join us; if you're interested, joining is as simple as adding yourself to this list.

The project currently tracks 31,353 Bangladesh-related articles on English Wikipedia, with the long-term goal of getting them all awarded the Good Article badge Icon of green plus sign inside green circle, the English Wikipedia Good Article badge or better (we've got 58 there so far!), and we'd be truly grateful for any assistance, large or small, you are able to lend.

@MPGuy2824 , Yes, a disambiguation page could be create. But I can see. Leader of the House. -Delwar(T) 08:03, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Yup, exactly like that. It should only list articles where the deputy leader exists and is mentioned though. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 08:41, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Now that this is a disambiguation page, you should note that every bullet point here should have exactly one blue link and no red links. This can be done by creating some redirects OR directly linking to a section of a page that talks about the deputy leader. If it is inappropriate to do so, then the line should be removed from the disambiguation page. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 09:12, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
