Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from w:ja:メイショウドトウ to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Sophisticatedevening(talk) 16:37, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Amet-khan Sultan Museum, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless that text is available under a suitable free license. It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you can clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is the Teahouse, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page and someone will be along to answer it shortly. As you get started, you may find the pages below to be helpful.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Aeroflot Flight 55 moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Aeroflot Flight 55. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and the cited sources and attempts to search for sources don't reveal anything that would make this accident meet WP:GNG and/or WP:NEVENT (the only cited sources are databases of questionable reliability). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Aviationwikiflight (talk) 14:53, 20 October 2025 (UTC)

WP:NOTGUIDE

Good evening. Please note that Wikipedia is not a fandom resource, and there's no need to describe what merchandise was released or what songs were used in the film here. The project has had its own fandom wiki for a long time, and even despite its own problems, such things are better described there. Solaire the knight (talk) 13:58, 22 October 2025 (UTC)

I don't think discussing promotional material for a movie is that outlandish. Just because there's a fandom wiki doesn't mean it can't be mentioned here too. Hexes54 (talk) 14:00, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Please read WP:UNDUE. These are minor details that have little potential value for the project. We're writing an encyclopedia, not trying to document every fact about the subject. The Fandom Wiki is truly more suited for this kind of work. At best, if it's a unique promotion, like opening a branded restaurant for Dungeon Meshi. A new release of keychains and cards doesn't qualify that. Solaire the knight (talk) 14:11, 22 October 2025 (UTC)

You added a link to an unsourced statement here. If editing unsourced content, please either 1) add a reference, 2) add a {{cn}} tag, 3) remove the unsourced statement especially if contentious. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 22:13, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1982 Vickers Viscount hijacking, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Taiping Lake. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

@Hexes54 Thanks for your revision on the article I create Ratu Mayangkara!, I and fellow Wikipedia editor in Indonesia currently working on a long-term project to write or develop the topic of horse racing in Indonesia. Thanks for your attention. Charlottelia (talk) 10:18, 16 November 2025 (UTC)

I don't know much about Indonesian horse racing but I'd like to help where I can, if you have any good places to begin such as articles that need work I'd be happy to help! :) Hexes54 (talk) 11:04, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi @Hexes54 Can you help me? today I'm busy so I cannot continue writing my sandbox, I need help in the == Records == section (like how many jockeys win with their horses, trainer and owner are also like that)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Charlottelia/sandbox2#Winners_since_1974
You can check reference i use:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breeders%27_Cup_Classic Charlottelia (talk) 02:58, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
Of course! It should be done some time today for you :) Hexes54 (talk) 07:58, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
Thank you so much for yor help :) Charlottelia (talk) 08:54, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
Is it possible that you could find any sources that contain finish times for the race? It's difficult for me to look for sources because I don't know any Indonesian, so if you could help me I'd appreciate it Hexes54 (talk) 09:00, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
It's possible but it's also so difficul, because horse racing in Indonesia is not as well known as in Japan/France. King Argentin finish time is 2.16.57, the other i'll ask my friend first, Maybe in the next few days I will give you some information. Thankss Charlottelia (talk) 10:17, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
I've made some edits to the winners table and added a category for finishing times, so if you can find more info I'll be happy to fill some more in. Hexes54 (talk) 10:29, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
Thank you so much, I am also currently gathering information on each horse's finish time, I am sure this will take a long time. I Will contact you if I get the information. Charlottelia (talk) 10:38, 17 November 2025 (UTC)

Draft

@Hexes54 I helped you a little on the Draft:Mejiro Bright. Rain (talk) 02:06, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

Thank you very much, infoboxes/tables are definitely my least favourite part to create so I appreciate the help :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 08:24, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
Actually, I'm so lazy to add the references of his race lmao, could you add the ref? the source is available at netkeiba or other websites Rain (talk) 10:53, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
I will soon, I have an appointment in the next hour so I'll do it when I get back :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 10:55, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
Also, if you're looking to work on more Japanese racehorse articles, I have quite a few that have been sitting in my drafts for a while. I've been meaning to finish them soon so any help would be appreciated :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 10:58, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
Okay I can help with the tables/Infobox, even so, I will work on the draft according to my mood :) Rain (talk) 11:05, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
@Hexes54 I just found an article about Mejiro Bright on the Japanese Wikipedia. Would you like the content of the article to be the same as the Japanese wiki? Or would you like it to be different? Rain (talk) 15:10, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
With my articles, I usually just translate the Japanese article and add any extra info if I can. You're free to translate it and I'll look over it when I can :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 18:13, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
If it helps in future, I usually search things on Wikidata to see if they have articles in languages that aren't English. It also helps with images and some other basic information, and gives you some basic sources. 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 18:18, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure if content on the Japanese Wikipedia moved here, the article will be eligible to enter the GA category Rain (talk) 21:50, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Once it's finished I can submit it and we'll see :) There's a few other articles like that too;
Narita Brian is one I can remember off of the top of my head. 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 22:44, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
To move content from the Japanese Wikipedia to here is quite easy, but I can't include references because the language is Japanese. I'm using Google translate to translate it, maybe there are some words that don't have the right meaning. Rain (talk) 23:23, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
I mainly use context clues and try to reword anything that doesn't make very much sense if I know what it's trying to say. If you translate some of it I'll have a look and add references when I get to it :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 02:39, 22 December 2025 (UTC)

CS1 error on PalaItalia

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page PalaItalia, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A generic name error. References show this error when author or editor name parameters use place-holder names. Please edit the article to include the source's actual author or editor name. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 10:34, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

Shinto Help

Hello! You mentioned you might be interested in helping out with some Shinto articles when you have time. Just to ask, do you read Japanese at all? One of the tasks I've been hoping to get to (but haven't) is sorting my to-do list into articles that are poor translations (and therefore need to be retranslated before we do any serious edits) and articles that were just really poorly made in English (and don't correlate to the Japanese article and so need to be edited as their own thing).

If not, that's ok, I could still definitely use the help. Thank you! Erynamrod (talk) 13:11, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

I don't have a grasp on the language itself, but a lot of my work on Wikipedia has been machine translating articles from Japanese. I hope to learn in the future, but it would take me a while to have enough of a grasp to translate using my own knowledge. I'm happy to do tasks such as copyediting if you can point me in the correct direction of articles that need work :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 13:15, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Korea Cup

Hello! First of all, thank you for your interest in the Korea Cup (race) article. I’m writing to ask about the reasoning behind your recent edits. It seems like most of them were addressing redundant redirects, but I would appreciate it if you could clarify why those specific changes were made. Since I primarily contribute to the Korean Wikipedia, I’m still familiarizing myself with the Manual of Style and syntax here on the English version. I apologize for any oversight on my part. Thank you again for your contributions, and I look forward to your reply. Have a great day! Coperacchio (talk) 10:27, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

Hello! Most of my edits were mainly grammar (capitals, etc.) and copyediting to improve sentence flow. As for the red links, I believe it isn't needed to link something every time it's mentioned, and so I changed these accordingly (see WP:REDLINK if you want some more on this). Also, WP:SMOS explains the Manual of Style in shorter and easier to understand terms which might help you :) 🀰☯🀰Hexes54Talk to me🀰☯🀰 11:08, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation! Since Korean horse racing is quite a niche topic, I’ve been working on these articles mostly on my own. I really appreciate you stepping in to help.
Please feel free to drop by and contribute to other Korean horse racing articles in the future as well. Thanks again for your edits! :D Coperacchio (talk) 11:19, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
