I edited your sandbox because it was listed in Links in links, a kind of lint error, and the only User page with this error now. Based on my edit summary "rm spurious <ref>", you probably thought that I objected to "I made it up" as a reference. I don't care about that at all. The problem isn't "I made it up." The problem is that |CASNo= automatically generates a link (https://commonchemistry.cas.org/detail?cas_rn=12345678 in this case) and can't take an additional reference, as it causes the links in links error.

There are many editors who fix things in Wikipedia including lint errors, CS1 errors, and many other types of problems. If there is an error in a user page, people will tend to fix it. I try to respect requests to leave a specific user's user pages alone, but I get a lot of thanks and positive feedback for my user page edits, so it's generally well-received. I encourage you to help keep errors out of Wikipedia, including your user pages. For example, if you have markup like this ...

This line has '''unclosed bold
This line has <small>''misnested tags</small>''

Thank you for the declination! I've been getting a bit anxious with the article just sitting there unreviewed. I'm curious though; at what point do you think the subject would become notable? Would you say it has to be discovered before an article can be made?

Besides just being rather short compared to your other articles, another big issues is that two of the sources seem to violate WP:SIGCOV. I saw that floated on unbitrium's AFD. One point of AfC is to gauge if an article could survive AfD, so seeing Unbitrium fail when it is much larger than that draft is not reassuring. Further, unbihexium is rather short for an article on the elements. I am not a chemist—I failed AP Chemistry—but maybe you could worm this draft into unbihexium. ✶Quxyz✶ (talk) 21:54, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

@UnbihexiumFan: First of all, I want to congratulate you for your efforts that you put into the GAN that got recently passed. As that article's reviewer, I needed some closing thoughts on issues which I thought had been cleared. I think we can all agree that during spotcheck I didn't suggest you to copy every detail from the sources (actual plagiarism) so maybe there's been a misunderstanding regarding that. I fully understand the collaborative way in which the GAN review works hence I accepted your pushbacks. You said it didn't need to be comprehensive by including every detail from the source per this note which I fully agree but plagiarism?

Another point I will like to know is about the partial revert of my copyedits. I mean that style wasn't harming the article but what was the issue with that? @Sddarealone: Thanks! Maybe I misread but it appeared to me that in your suggested phrasing changes you copied the wording that was used in the source. Without attribution, taking what people wrote in another source is plagiarism. Even if I did attribute it it would still probably not be great because of WP:OWNWORDS.

Many of the copyediting changes you made were grammatically inaccurate so I undid those. Example: hydrated by atmospheric moisture (in the original wording) is grammatical. hydrated by the atmospheric moisture is not.
