Hello, I'm AshMusique. I noticed that in this edit to Rod Wave, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AshMusique (talk) 23:33, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

Note that I quoted WP:DOB when I reverted your edit at Charles Martinet; I meant to link to WP:BLPPRIMARY. Genological websites such as ancestry.com and CaliforniaBirthIndex.org should not be used to verify vital statistics in biography articles.-- Ponyobons mots 22:16, 19 October 2022 (UTC)

Heather DeLoach edit

I have reverted your edit of Heather DeLoach that used content cited to California Birth Index. WP:BLPPRIMARY specifies that public records are not to be used to support assertions about a living person. Eddie Blick (talk) 00:24, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 04:08, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

It unfortunately is obvious at this point that you ignored the above notice and are purposefully not using edit summaries. Please change your behavior ASAP by implementing an accurate summary as often as possible for your future edits, no matter how big or small the adjustments are. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 03:29, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
I'm making this comment over a month after the latest one on the topic was made with the same concern. Please refrain from deleting major portions of a page without edit summary, as you did on Dua Lipa. TheXuitts (talk) 05:48, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.

They haven't responded to any messages here, I don't think they've gotten the point at all. @Orange Suede Sofa AG202 (talk) 13:53, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
A quick scan of edits from the last week show that they're not outright vandalism or BLP violations, so it's a very borderline case at this point; WP:AIV will not handle it. It's mostly just lack of edit summaries and minor content changes, and if you're concerned that the editor is intentionally disrupting the articles in question, you can try WP:AN. Regards, Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 04:02, 9 September 2023 (UTC)

Inappropriate move of Jelly Roll (singer)

Your recent move of the Jelly Roll (singer) article has been undone. The article in question was moved to the current name following a Request to Move discussion. Consensus should be obtained before moving articles which have been moved in this fashion. ☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 21:08, 21 September 2023 (UTC)

Pharrell

I understand your recent contributions to Pharrell Williams

Such as his occupation and genres

Quick facts Pharrell Williams, Occupations ...
Pharrell Williams
Occupations
  • Record producer
  • songwriter
  • rapper
  • singer
  • fashion designer
  • entrepreneur
Close

It kind of makes sense to list him as a singer first.

Should be formatted like this:

Quick facts Pharrell Williams, Occupations ...
Pharrell Williams
Occupations
  • Singer
  • songwriter
  • rapper
  • record producer
  • fashion designer
  • entrepreneur
Close

Genres are good but he does more than just Hip hop, R&B, pop. Also does pop rap and funk. Funk occasionally. Thank you for understanding. I am not mad. Could rearrange occupation from most notable. BigWarren5 (talk) 15:51, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Songwriter

Hello, as far as songwriter in the Tupac lead are concerned, I and other users have already discussed about ten days ago (go to Tupac's talk). And we decided to write in Tupac's lead: "rapper and songwriter." Avoid making edits without consent Pier1999 (talk) 02:05, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

June 2024

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Doja Cat. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Thedarkknightli (talk) 13:35, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Lil Jon while logged out. Please be mindful not to perform controversial edits while logged out, or your account risks being blocked from editing. Please consider reading up on Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts before editing further. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. FMSky (talk) 18:45, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
