"Clean up" of Charles K. Hamilton
Just what the hell do you think you're doing? Eviscerating an article is not appreciated. Clarityfiend (talk) 07:07, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Clarityfiend The gallery is unnecessary when the Commons Category is linked at the bottom of the article. His birthdate is already sourced four times. The rest of my edit is inarguably cleanup. You could also be respectful about it. Roast (talk) 07:14, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- Okay, I freaked out when I saw what appeared to be a major deletion. Upon further examination, it's not as bad as I thought, but it's still not a mere "clean up". For example, you deleted his parents, and the fact that there is an extensive gallery elsewhere doesn't mean you can just delete all but two photos (one of which isn't very useful). I'm going to rework the article. Clarityfiend (talk) 07:38, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- My apologies. Clarityfiend (talk) 08:11, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
April 2026
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Abercrombie Caves when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.
Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 03:33, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Whispers(film)

A tag has been placed on Whispers(film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Removing picture you added to the Fruitland, Missouri article
Hello, you added
to Fruitland, Missouri on July 18th, 2024. Why? Is it a joke to see how long a bad photo can stay on a low-viewed article on wikipedia? It should go without saying that this photo is worse than no photo at all. I removed it from the article. SamuelNelsonGISP (talk) 18:36, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- No, I was cursorily passing through the town and snapped a photo. I would've taken a better photo if I had stopped there, but I didn't. I understand why you removed it. Roast (talk) 00:46, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
- Fair. I'm just surprised you even added it. SamuelNelsonGISP (talk) 01:02, 21 April 2026 (UTC)

Image Requests for Famous Figures
You seem to have a penchant for uploading free high-quality images to Wikipedia. Any chance you can ones of Ferry Porsche (as an adult), Oliver Hazard Payne, Jack Nicholas Pritzker, Gert-Rudolf Flick and Forrest Mars Sr.? I'm sure they would make nice additions to Wikipedia? Thank you for your consideration. Emiya1980 (talk) 03:23, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- I'll check tomorrow, as I'm extremely tired as of writing this. Roast (talk) 03:57, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Emiya1980 I couldn't find anything. The pictures I upload generally come from Newspapers.com and from the Library of Congress. The LOC's high quality photos are mostly of national-level politicians, and Newspapers.com is only usable for photos at the public domain cutoff (1930). Since none of the listed individuals are national-level politicians, nor were individuals of note before 1930 such that a newspaper would picture them, they don't have public domain photographs where I check.
- The only exception would be Oliver Hazard Payne, who I will check. Roast (talk) 16:19, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
