International Festival of Fashion Photography moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to International Festival of Fashion Photography. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. 🌸wasianpower🌸 (talk • contribs) 20:19, 26 September 2025 (UTC)

Question from Bahtiar Affendiy Bin Padillah on Wikipedia:Sandbox (05:27, 2 March 2026)
Why is my Wikipedia not published --Bahtiar Affendiy Bin Padillah (talk) 05:27, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Bahtiar Affendiy Bin Padillah.
- The page you created is currently in your user space, so clicking ‘Publish changes’ only saved your edits there - it did not publish an encyclopedia article. Your user page isnt the place for an article drafts. If you want to create a Wikipedia article firstly you should move the content to a sandbox or to Draft:Article title, add reliable independent sources, and then submit it through Articles for Creation. Also please note that if the topic is about something you are closely connected - please disclose that and avoid creating it directly. Kqol (talk) 22:40, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Bahtiar Affendiy Bin Padillah
- Also these pages may be helpful for your understanding the article-creation process and Wikipedia main content policies:
- Userspace draft help - difference between a userspace draft and a published article
- Your first article - a step-by-step guide for new article creators
- Article Wizard - helps you start a draft in the correct place
- Articles for creation - where you can submit a draft for review
- Notability - whether a topic is suitable for its own article
- Reliable sources and Verifiability - what kinds of sources are needed and how claims should be supported
- Neutral point of view and No original research - two of the core content policies for article writing
- Conflict of interest - important if the topic is about yourself or something you are closely connected to
- If you need help, you can also ask at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Kqol (talk) 23:39, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
Question from Bermensterflora (09:23, 5 March 2026)
i made a draft about a flower and it has 2 senteces its not that documented will it be accepted --Bermensterflora (talk) 09:23, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
Hi@Bermensterflora, and welcome. I see that the article you asked me about has already been published in the main namespace. Congratulations!
- As for your draft about Early McIntosh, I can see that other editors have already given you some advice on article formatting. At the moment, the main issue is with the sources.
- I will try to look for some suitable and help you with this article. Kqol (talk) 18:15, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

- Please have a look at the sources below, as they may be useful in establishing notability under WP:N.
- Please make sure that the claims in the draft are supported by reliable, independent sources in line with WP:V, and add inline citations where needed. It would also be a good idea to keep the references formatted consistently, following the advice you have already received and the general guidance at WP:MOS. You may also look at other articles on similar topics, as they can serve as an example of how this kind of articles is typically organized. Once you feel the draft is in reasonably good shape, you can resubmit it at WP:AFC
- Also, it is very much to your credit that you openly acknowledged a possible conflict of interest, since that kind of transparency is always appreciated. Kqol (talk) 18:32, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
Question from KrishWikiDasgupta (07:48, 6 March 2026)
Hello Kqol,
Please let me know if the user page is my main page to create content. Thanks, Krish --KrishWikiDasgupta (talk) 07:48, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hello @KrishWikiDasgupta, and welcome. You can use it for your notes, WikiProjects, or a little information about yourself, not really for writing encyclopedia articles.
- If you want to create a new article, it is usually a good idea to work on it in your sandbox or in draft space. Then submit it through Articles for Creation.

- Note: ChamsAWAYM's mentor Martin Urbanec is away.
Hi Martin, how can I change my user name? and what that be the fina name of my page after I am done with the content? Thanks --ChamsAWAYM (talk) 11:27, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @ChamsAWAYM, and welcome. Yes, you can change your username by making a request at Special:GlobalRenameRequest. After renaming - your past edits are reassigned to the new username, and your user page would normally be at User:NewName.

Question from Tallpup (00:54, 31 March 2026)
Hi! I noticed a page was poorly cited and added some "citation needed" suggestions and the page reverted with no changes. How do I get more information about why it wasn't changed? --Tallpup (talk) 00:54, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Tallpup and welcome!
- Most likely the tags were removed because they were added to the lead for material that is already sourced in the body. On English Wikipedia, lead citations are often omitted when the lead is just summarizing cited material from later sections, although challenged material can still need an inline citation.

Speedy deletion declined: Samuel Gbadebo Odewumi
Hello Kqol. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Samuel Gbadebo Odewumi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Being a prof and acting VC is enough for A7. Take to AfD for fuller discussion if required. Thank you. GedUK 09:48, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

Question from Mevrickwilliam (08:15, 4 April 2026)
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I need some guidance. I recently created an article that has been nominated for deletion, and I’m feeling a bit worried and unsure about what to do. I’ve tried to explain my points in the deletion discussion, but I would really appreciate it if you could take a look and offer your advice as my mentor. Your help in this matter would mean a lot to me. Thanks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ansarada_(company) --Mevrickwilliam (talk) 08:15, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Mevrickwilliam and welcome. The main issue here is notability, so you should focus less on defending the article in general and more on showing strong independent and secondary sources with significant coverage of the company. I can see you added some better sources after the AfD.
- Also you should edite and improve the article tone and wording. Now it partically looks as a result of LLM. Kqol • talk 16:37, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
- Got it, and thanks for your guidance and i apologies for the late response. Ill make changes asap in the article. Thanks once again Mevrickwilliam (talk) 02:05, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
Talking Baby Hippo

- Hi @PinkyPinkers and welcome!
- The article has already been deleted.
- If you want to try again please try to find reliable, independent sources with significant coverage of the topic first.

- Once you have a better draft in wikipedia style, tone and with good sources, submit it through the AFC process.
- But if if there are no secondary, independent and strong coverage then the topic of your article may not be suitable for a standalone article. Kqol • talk 11:53, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
Question from GlobalCultureWriter (00:28, 9 April 2026)
New page reviewer granted

Hi Kqol, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 15:27, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

Killing of Sheridan Gorman.
It has become a notable and controversial case. Im trying to use bias with it and add reliable sources. May you consider not deleting it? It overshadows the poor woman killed senselessly. ButteyFelicity (talk) 16:49, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @ButteyFelicity and welcome . Unfortunately, the page has already been deleted. The main issue is not whether you or I personally consider the article important, but whether the topic meets Wikipedia’s standards for a standalone article.

Hello, I'm Fram. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Flags of the World is not a reliable source, please see its entry at WP:RSNP. Fram (talk) 14:35, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

Question from Marial68 (19:57, 21 April 2026)
Hi, I'd like to publish my Article about Georgina Adelaide Müller. Just wanted to ask if a review period of several months is normal? Above the draft it says the review will take at least two months. Thanks:) --Marial68 (talk) 19:57, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Marial68 and welcome!
- Yes, that is normal. AfC currently has a large backlog, and drafts are reviewed in no fixed order, so waiting several months can happen. If your draft shows "Review waiting", it is in the queue and will be reviewed when a reviewer gets to it. Kqol • talk 18:54, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
Question from Cadetmisty (16:18, 23 April 2026)
I'm confused why my draft keeps being rejected despite having multiple references/sources? --Cadetmisty (talk) 16:18, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Cadetmisty and welcome!
- The problem is not the number of references, but the type of sources and how they are used. Your current sources mostly verify individual facts, but they do not appear to provide the kind of independent, secondary and in-depth coverage needed to show notability for a BLP. The draft also reads more like a list of family/residence/career details than an article based on substantial published coverage about the person. Kqol • talk 19:13, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

Question from Alexjamesevans6923 on Fair Work Agency (09:42, 30 April 2026)
Hi mate want to add a fair use image to a page how do i do that? --Alexjamesevans6923 (talk) 09:42, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Alexjamesevans6923 and welcome!
- First thing worth checking - does it actually need to be fair use? If a free equivalent exists (or could exist), non-free isn't allowed. If it does need to be fair use, upload it locally through upload wizard.
- Use a low-resolution version, make sure it's actually will be used in the article, and add it to the article.
