I've prepared a draft biography of an academic/artist with full citations. As I'm the spouse, I'd appreciate if a neutral editor could review or submit it.

Article is the focus of a lot of attention, but it has major issues.

• Some low quality sourcing (newsweek, fox news, etc)
• Sensationalism and tabloid gossip
• Financial Times outright says there's major errors in the article

A direct quote from the article: "At this point, it is worth noting that Wikipedia’s editors have added their own flourishes that are not reflected in the underlying source material."

Moved to Talk:The Great British Bake Off § A biographical article vs list of mini-bios

Is a biographical article more convenient and easier to write than a list of biographical sections? The "Dylan Bachelet" article was created, then AFD-nominated, and then "kept", but then it was unilaterally redirected to List of The Great British Bake Off finalists (series 8–present) months later due to (again) notability issues.

On the other hand, I've been the primary editor of List of The Great British Bake Off finalists (series 8–present)... Well, I had to add details about newer finalists when no one else could. Also, the list of Great British Menu chefs (series 5–7) is still incomplete.

Sure, we have had to enforce notability guidelines, but then I wonder how practical a list of mini-biographies is, especially on mobile. George Ho (talk) 06:50, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
