The 2004 Missouri Attorney General election was held on November 2, 2004, in order to elect the attorney general of Missouri. Democratic nominee and incumbent attorney general Jay Nixon defeated Republican nominee Chris Byrd, Libertarian nominee David R. Browning and Constitution nominee David Fry.[1]
