Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Columbus, Ohio, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:34, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
- I just copy and pasted the article "Racism in Columbus, Ohio" as it was an Article to be Merged, I was really paying attention to the content itself and only focused on merging it. A.Classical-Futurist (talk) 22:42, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Image of Betty James, namer of the slinky.webp

A tag has been placed on File:Image of Betty James, namer of the slinky.webp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:15, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi A.Classical-Futurist. Thank you for your work on Sunlight Sisters. Another editor, MPGuy2824, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
this would need to be mentioned in the target article to avoid surprising readers.

Gary Iskak moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Gary Iskak. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it lacks any indication of sustained coverage. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Children Will Listen (🐄 talk, 🫘 contribs) 00:58, 30 November 2025 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello A.Classical-Futurist! Your additions to Knowa De Baraso have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license—to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. TarnishedPathtalk 02:43, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

On 18 February 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Wing Sun Fong, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. Merging
Hey,
Just wanted to pop on over to ask that you use Wikipedia:Merging in the future as a guide when you merge pages, like you did when merging Criticism of Amazon's environmental impact into Criticism of Amazon. It's important to do this in order to protect the copyright/attribution history.
Not an especially big deal, and your contributions seem overwhelmingly positive, so keep up the good work!

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Tammie Souza when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

TADC: The Last Act
I highly recommend waiting for additional sources discussing the theatrical sources to prove its notability as a unique screening. Right now, there is nothing to suggest it is so notable on its own that it should be its own article outside of the main TADC one. Right now, it is a clear content fork. Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed "in popular culture" content in an article, Arabian riff, but you didn't provide a reliable secondary source. On Wikipedia, it's important that all "in popular culture" article content be supported by a source that verifies not just the existence of the popular culture reference, but also its significance to the article's subject. If you'd like to resubmit your change with an appropriate citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please do not do this again
It's too hard to undo it so I won't bother but unless someone is truly known by their last name extremely frequently, or is extremely famous, it is almost always better to have the last name remain the primary topic due to the huge amount of people with various names and the purposes of said name indexes. Also, it isn't a disamb, it is a surname set index. PARAKANYAA (talk) 03:32, 7 May 2026 (UTC)

Declined submission of Palmeros Asuntinos draft
Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for reviewing my draft. I would like to respectfully address your concerns:
1) The subject clearly merits inclusion in Wikipedia, as the Palmeros Asuntinos tradition was inscribed in UNESCO's Register of Good Safeguarding Practices (file no. 01464, decision 14.COM 10.c.3) — an independent, verifiable international recognition. The link is provided in the article.
2) The article was personally reviewed both by me and by Dr. Luzmary Pastora García — not only a member of the Palmeros Asuntinos association, but also the author of the primary source used (Palmeros Asuntinos: Hilos de Ancestralidad, Tradición, Religiosidad e Identidad, Producciones VAVOS, 2024, Depósito Legal NE2024000003) and a researcher holding an academic degree. We specifically checked for hallucinations and factual inaccuracies.
3) The article relies on verifiable, reliable sources: a published doctoral dissertation, a 1997 monograph (Marcano, *Palmeros Asuntinos en dos Tiempos*), and the official UNESCO file.
4) I acknowledge that the article shows signs of AI assistance — I used AI as an editorial tool, primarily to navigate the constantly changing formatting rules across different Wikipedia versions. However, the content, facts, and references are entirely my own work, verified against primary sources.
I would be grateful if you would reconsider your decision and accept the draft for publication. I am equally happy to hear which specific sections raise concerns and require revision.
Best regards,
Artem Taranenko Тараненко Артем (talk) 12:30, 29 May 2026 (UTC)

Hello A.Classical-Futurist:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:36, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
