Your submission at Articles for creation: Charles Cherrett (January 29)

1) Source 5 = https://charleshenrycherrett.com/ = this does not seem to exist, and it's used in 3 places. 2) Pinterest - that is a content aggregator, and it scraped this information from the Penwith group. I don't think the BBC letter is pivotal, but if you do want to use it you best find the source on Penwith rather than the scrape site. 3) U-boat.net is a forum, self published and un-edited - they can't be used as sources There are some exceptions but they don't seem to apply here. It could be used in the External links section. I see that the subject grandson was contributing, which makes interesting but not from a sourcing perspective. Also source 22 on that forum doesn't appear to work.
I hope you can resolve this since there is a good article here, and I think it's fairly close to being OK now.- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Charles Cherrett and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to British Lawn Mower Racing Association when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Ways to improve Stone Island (Poole)
Hello, Jsthewikiperson,
Thank you for creating Draft:Stone Island (Poole).
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Moved to draft page, new articles need significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) from multiple reliable sources. As it stands the article lacks this.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Boynamedsue}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi Jsthewikiperson. Thank you for your work on Am Plastair. Another editor, Orange sticker, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
I've removed a number of citations from this article that don't refer to Am Plastair at all, along with speculation about what the name indicates which constitutes WP:OR. This can make an article look like it was created by a large language model, so please take care to keep citations relevant.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Orange sticker}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Disambiguation link notification for March 27
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charlie Wright (actor), a link pointing to the disambiguation page Better Things was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm DJ-Aomand. An edit that you recently made to Ghost ship seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or ask your questions on the Teahouse, a friendly place for new users. I would highly advise reading WP:NOLLM, as the guidelines for what LLM may be used for have changed relatively recently. DJ-Aomand (talk) 11:24, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to the article List of missing ships. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. I wanted to let you know that I've returned both Sidemen FC and YouTube Allstars to redirects. None of the sources in either article show significant, individual coverage outside of mentions as part of a larger topic (in this case the charity match). I know this can be frustrating, and I'm sorry. FWIW, I learned this myself when trying to write an article for a video game character a year ago, and despite having an abundance of sources, few to none of them described the topic individually (as in outside of a larger topic), with significant coverage. I hope this doesn't discourage you for contributing as you write well, it's just these subjects in particular were not notable. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. - No, it's ok, thanks for letting me know. I get that they aren't notable enough in their own right, thanks for telling me. Jsthewikiperson (talk) 06:35, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Luca Corberi.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Luca Corberi.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Gert7 (talk · contribs) 18:34, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
Replaceable non-free use File:Tristan da Cunha FC.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Tristan da Cunha FC.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:21, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
