Hello Alza08, I'm Don Cleland. Just looking at some of the pages updated with the news of James Slipper being appointed as captain of the Queensland Reds, and it's a case of citation overload (WP:OVERREF).

Five references is way over the top for any snippets of information like this:

Just pick one. The Canberra Times in this case covers the verifiability and is a better option than the Courier Mail because Fairfax pages can be archived by the Wayback Machine. I've edited the Reds page to remove all the others and added the Title, Date, etc., to the citation as is recommended.

Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter. Once again, the reference you have added does not support the claim (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alza08#Tackle_.28football_move.29). The Daily Mail, as a tabloid paper, is not a suitable authority on the laws of association football, and it has completely misrepresented what Mike Riley said. Even if it had quoted him correctly, he can only offer advice to referees he is in charge of. This advice is not binding, nor is it relevant to anyone in the rest of the world.

At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and also a consensus not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors from being published on the article.

Check the 2015–16 Chelsea F.C. season article yourself. Hiddink's first league game for Chelsea was on the 26th of December 2015 (round 18). His final league game for Chelsea was on 15 May 2016 (round 38). This means that in total, Hiddink managed 21 league games for Chelsea. Additionally, the same article states that in all league games played for Chelsea since the 26th inclusive, Chelsea achieved 7 wins, 11 draws and 3 losses, and that Chelsea finished the season in 10th place. I have now realised that I had neglected to specify that the games I was talking about were league games, but that is not malice, just a simple oversight. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest! Hello there, I have been asked by another member of WPRL to widen the conversation on "Flags in European current templates", in the hope to gain a wider consensus. I imagine that this message may well never be read, dismissed, see me lose support, potentially gain some or take the discussion forwards. Please do take the time to read the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Rugby_league#Flags_in_squad_templates if you can, but the crux of my position is that the flags are prevalent elsewhere, are consistent with usage by the MOS, and their implementation for their rugby league national squad/team or representative nationality, is in line with their intended purpose. The crux of the remove side would be an IP editor may interpret a flag as indication of birth, give too much credence to the nation, and the decision was made previously. To remove them from all rugby league templates when there is a limited conversation would seem more than a little unfair I would say, hence the attempt to reach out. Hi Alza08! I've been running into you in recent changes patrolling and I happened to notice that you don't have the pending changes reviewer user rights. I hope you don't mind, but I went through your contributions and I noticed that you're quite active in recent changes patrolling and that you consistently view and undo vandalism and bad faith disruption. I believe that the pending changes reviewer rights would be useful for you to have and that you'd make good use of the tool. Instead of having you formally request the pending changes reviewer right at WP:PERM, I went ahead and just gave it to you. This user right allows you to review edits that are pending approval on pages currently under pending changes protection and either accept the edits to make them viewable by the general public, or decline and revert them.

Keep these things in mind regarding the tool or when you're reviewing any pending changes:

• A list of articles with pending edits awaiting review can be viewed at Special:PendingChanges.
• A list of the articles currently under pending changes protection can be viewed at Special:StablePages.
• Being granted and having these rights does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you (obviously).

Hi there,

I notice that you cut and pasted the 'Dulux dog' section from the 'Dulux' article into an identical section in the 'Old English Sheepdog' article in this edit.

I appreciate that this was done in good faith, but cutting and pasting identical content is generally frowned upon, as is having two major articles or sections covering the same thing. Since this content is more about the Dulux campaign than the breed itself, I think it's best that the main section covering this remains at Dulux#Dulux dog.

I've left the section in the 'Old English Sheepdog' article- it's still worthy of note there- but have cut it down to the minimum and pointed it towards the 'Dulux' article.
