Eltana is a small chain[1] of Montreal-style bagel shops in Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington.

Montreal-style[2][3] bagels are boiled in honey water[4] and baked in a wood-fired oven.[5] Eltana has also served salads,[6] sandwiches, shakshouka, and Eastern Mediterranean[7] / Middle Eastern cuisine.[8][9]

History

Established in 2010,[10] the business has operated on Capitol Hill,[11][12][13] in the Fremont and Wallingford neighborhoods,[14][15] and in the food court at Seattle Center's Armory in the Queen Anne neighborhood.[16][17] Eltana has also operated in Japan.[18][19][20]
