László Fenyvesi

Hello PeppermintSA. I noticed you created the article of coach Fenyvesi, great job! Just one question: at themaniacs.ors ( a website which is not working anymore), they claimed Fenyvesi coached Zeljeznicar in the second half of the 1958/59 season. That would mean that he coached FK Sarajevo the first part, and then Zeljo in the second. But I cant find any source to confirm that he coached Zeljo, can you help? Replaceable fair use File:Asim Ferhatovic stadium.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Asim Ferhatovic stadium.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:35, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Proposed deletion of FK Sarajevo chairmen

The article FK Sarajevo chairmen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary fork, no content in this article not included in the parent article. Additionally predominantly non-notable individuals, so unclear what use a standalone list would have from an encyclopedic standpoint.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hi! Your newest article is great, but should be broken up into sections. Also -- instead of 'biography,' maybe try splitting it into 'early life,' 'career,' et cetera. That way it's less confusing for the reader and easier to digest. ɯɐɔ (talk) 16:56, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

Nice job on your article!

You fixed the article completely and it's awesome. Thanks for your contribs! ɯɐɔ (talk) 17:19, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited New Primitivism, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punk (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Bosnian.FA-center-lounge-room.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Bosnian.FA-center-lounge-room.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Oleola (talk) 13:19, 27 March 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Stevan Bodroža

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Stevan Bodroža requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Re: the recent spate of edits--are you a paid contributor?

Information icon Hello, PeppermintSA. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 00:57, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Dušan Hodžić (April 6)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Legacypac was:
This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines for sports persons and athletes, the golden rule and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and Help:Introduction to referencing/1), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Single source of unknown reliability. The text is pretty close to translated copyvio with the same word order. We need better standards than this
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

File:National.gallery.bih.jpg

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 01:16, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article Dino Abazović. I have removed the infringing text, but the material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web, and when creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information from the source using your own words. BeeFest moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, BeeFest, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Replaceable fair use File:Galerija.11.07.95.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Galerija.11.07.95.jpg.

Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:23, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of File:Marina.zumi.sarajevo.art.jpg

The file File:Marina.zumi.sarajevo.art.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free image being used as an element in a gallery failing WP:NFCC#8

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Whpq (talk) 11:25, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Stevan Bodroža

Notice

The article Stevan Bodroža has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File:Sarajevo.streeat.food.festival.png

RonBot (talk) 17:21, 28 July 2018 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Barcelona.sarajevo.mural.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Barcelona.sarajevo.mural.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Irfan Ramić (February 9)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Jovanmilic97 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
First three references are all written in a similar or even same way in certain sentences, implying it's a regurgitated press release. The other two are just listings. Needs more in order to meet the guidelines.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Two copies of this page have been created, in draft space and in article space. It is not necessary to create two copies of the same page, and it annoys the reviewers. This is sometimes done in order to bypass Articles for Creation review. However, if a submitter is ready to have the article in article space, it can be moved into article space, rather than creating a copy. It is common for a page that has been duplicated in draft space and in article space to be nominated for deletion or proposed for deletion.

If the article is kept, this draft should be redirected to the article. If the article is deleted, this draft may be kept for future improvement.

The copy in article space has been nominated for deletion, so this draft can be kept for possible improvement.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Vahid Avdić moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Vahid Avdić. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and also need expansion of the information as currently it have only lead section. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ❯❯❯ Chunky aka Al Kashmiri (✍️) 03:35, 17 October 2023 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Drago Ančić

Hello, PeppermintSA

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Vanamonde93, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Drago Ančić, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vanamonde93}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Your submission at Articles for creation: Miomir Đuričković (February 24)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Kline was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines for sports persons and athletes). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Replaceable non-free use File:Sarajevo Youth Theatre.png

Thanks for uploading File:Sarajevo Youth Theatre.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 05:30, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Asim Ferhatović.jpeg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Asim Ferhatović.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Better source request for File:Sarajevo Fashion Film Festival logo.png

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 05:16, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

File:Strossmayer Street.jpg

Hi PeppermintSA. What makes you think that File:Strossmayer Street.jpg meets the conditions of {{PD-US-expired}}? That copyright license only applies to works published in the United States and registered with the US copyright office before January 1, 1930. This is an image of Strossmayer Street in Sarajevo, right? What evidence have you found that this postcard was first published in the United States and not in Yugoslavia (which Sarajevo was a part of at that time) or some other country? -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:34, 16 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi Marchuly, you are right, I mistakenly concluded that the expiration of the term due to publication before 1930 does not apply exclusively to the United States. The image on the postcard was published in a now-defunct periodical Novi list, and then subsequently printed as a postcard by Sarajevo-based Prosvjeta publishing in 1927. Both the periodical and publishing house have been defunct for more than 80 years. Can you help me by correcting the licensing on this file? PeppermintSA (talk) 13:04, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
What I originally posted above was a bit of an oversimplification. The {{PD-US-expired}} license can be used for works first published outside of the US, but it generally needs to be used together with another copyright license for the country of first publication. This is something you should probably ask about this at c:Commons:Village pump#Copyright because most likely the copyright status of this postcard has more to do with c:Commons:Yugoslavia and c:Commons:Bosnia and Herzegovina than it does with c:Commons:United States (which matters most to English Wikipedia). Given what you posted above, there's a good chance Yugoslavia is the country of first publication and that the postcard has already entered into the public domain under what would've been Yugoslavian copyright law before the country ceased to exist. If the postcard is within the public domain, Commons is a better site for hosting it because Commons' files can easily used by all of the various Wikipedias and other Wikimedia Foundation sites, whereas English Wikipedia files can only be used on English Wikipedia. There is a copyright license (either c:Template:PD-Yugoslavia or c:Template:PD-Bosnia and Herzegovina) that might apply here, but that's a Commons' template and there's no real equivalent for it on English Wikipedia: there is an English Wikipedia Template:PD-Yugoslavia, but that looks to be badly thought out and probably shouldn't be being used at all based on the discussion on its template talk page. For the time being, you probably should leave the file's licensing to {{PD-US-expired}} but clarify why you think the file is PD in Yugoslavia or Bosnia and Herzegovina to the |Permission= parameter of license template you used for the file's description. Then, once you get some responses on Commons, you can figure out what to do next (i.e. WP:MTC and relicense or simply reupload it to Commons). -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:27, 16 April 2025 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Bosnian Cultural Center.jpg.

This file is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the file description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. — Ирука13 14:55, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Sarajevo seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Opinions such as "Sarajevo is home to a rich and diverse visual arts scene, encompassing both historical institutions and contemporary spaces", "Sarajevo also features a growing number of private and alternative galleries that reflect the city's contemporary and experimental spirit", "These institutions, alongside independent art initiatives, artist-run spaces, and international collaborations, contribute to Sarajevo's vibrant and resilient artistic identity" and "These institutions and events make Sarajevo a dynamic theatrical hub in the region, where classical repertoire coexists with experimental and politically engaged performances" would need to be attributed in-text, not expressed in Wikipedia's voice. Sarajevo VRX Immersive Museum moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Sarajevo VRX Immersive Museum. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it relies too much on non-independent and user-generated sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:17, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi Cordless Larry! Thank you for your imput and suggestions. I've just improved the article, adding sources from reputable media outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Klix.ba, the country's most read news source, Al Jazeera Balkans, the most circulated daily newspaper's online edition (Avaz), etc. Let me know your thoughts. PeppermintSA (talk) 17:03, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
You need to remove everything that's based on user-generated sources such as TripAdvisor. Cordless Larry (talk) 17:12, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
