Welcome to Women in Green, an attempt to bring core articles on women and women's works up to minimum Wikipedia:Good article (GA) status. We currently have 5282 articles out of 43,603 Good Articles on the site (roughly 12.1%) and 610 articles out of 6,883 Featured Articles (roughly 8.9%).

Group goals

For 2026, WikiProject Women in Green has five goals: (1) to submit 80 GA nominations about women/women's works of any kind, (2) to submit three GA nominations from Women in Green's Hot 100 List, (3) to complete 60 GA nomination reviews of articles about women/women's works, (4) to submit 7 Featured Article and/or Featured List nominations about women or women's works, and (5) to contribute 20 reviews to Peer Review requests and/or Featured Article Candidates about women/women's works. All project participants are encouraged to add their nominated or reviewed articles to the 2026 Goal Tracking list.

Past goals

2025: Women in Green members submitted a final total of 86 GA nominations (69 passed, 17 still awaiting review) and 3 GA nominations from the Hot 100 List (all 3 passed). Members also reviewed a total of 66 GAN articles (62 passed, 4 failed as not yet meeting criteria), submitted 8 FA nominations (6 passed, 1 failed, 1 awaiting review) and 4 FL nominations (3 passed, 1 failed), and contributed feedback to 8 Peer Reviews and/or FAC Reviews. 2024: Women in Green members submitted a final total of 75 GA nominations, skipping themes this year (72 passed, 2 failed, and 1 withdrawn before review). Members also reviewed a total of 64 GAN articles (60 passed, 4 failed as not yet meeting criteria), submitted 8 FA nominations (4 passed, 4 failed), and contributed feedback to 12 Peer Reviews and/or FAC Reviews. 2023: Women in Green members submitted 22 GA nominations on the theme of women in peacekeeping/diplomacy and 70 "wildcard" GA nominations about women and women's works, achieving a final total of 92 nominations (90 passed, and 2 failed). Members also reviewed a total of 91 GAN articles (88 passed, 3 failed as not yet meeting criteria) and submitted 6 FA nominations (all passed). This year, we introduced a new goal around contributing reviews to Peer Review articles and Featured Article Candidates, and successfully reached our objective of reviewing 15 of these articles. 2022: Women in Green members submitted 15 GA nominations on the theme of "women and the environment" and 47 "wildcard" GA nominations about women and women's works, achieving a final total of 62 nominations (59 passed, and 3 failed). Members also blasted through GAN review goals for the year, reviewing a total of 48 GAN articles (44 passed, 4 failed as not yet meeting criteria), and also submitted 8 FA/FL nominations (all passed). 2021: Women in Green members submitted 16 GA nominations related to women's rights and 41 "wildcard" GA nominations about women or women's works, achieving a final total of 57 nominations (all passed successfully). Members also completed goals relating to GAN reviews and FA nominations: we reviewed 37 GAN articles about women or women's works (34 passed, 3 failed as not yet meeting criteria) and submitted 5 FA nominations (5 passed).
