Liste des sous-marins du Japon

Voici une liste des sous-marins utilisés par la Marine impériale japonaise, puis par la Force maritime d'autodéfense japonaise.

Les sous-marins de la marine impériale japonaise sont nés de l'achat de cinq sous-marins de Classe Holland aux États-Unis en 1904. Les forces sous-marines japonaises se sont progressivement renforcées et ont acquis un savoir-faire, devenant au début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale l'une des flottes de sous-marins les plus variées et les plus puissantes du monde.
