The 2026 Texas lieutenant gubernatorial election will take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the lieutenant governor of Texas. Incumbent Republican Dan Patrick is running for a fourth term.[1] Primary elections were held on March 3, 2026, with a Democratic runoff election scheduled for May 26.
