The subject of this article does not appear to pass GNG. Although there are numerous references, none of them are valid secondary sources WP:RS. It's either blogs or interviews. I also noticed that at the bottom of source #15 from "blacksoundwave" it says; "Let me know if you want this adapted into social copy, a newsletter snippet, or embedded with media/links for publishing". Therefore, it appears that this is a conceited paid effort to get this person a wikipedia page so they can self promote. The contributor in question who wrote this page is new to Wikipedia but seems very well-versed in its policies and procedures. They also did not appreciate that I put a notability tag on this article. But after reading all the sources and the context, here I am. I would like the community to decide. Thank you. Non-notable small (7- to 10-person?) startup company that doesn't meet WP:NORG or WP:GNG. In terms of the general coverage, most of what is offered (and seemingly available based on my own WP:BEFORE) is the type of passing mentions in general tech-industry/start-up outlets about funding/incubation/etc. Several of which are in the article. EG: "of 220 companies that applied for this start-up program, 15 were selected" (chronicle.lu and siliconluxembourg.lu), "several Irish start-ups help with waste management - here's 2" (Irish Examiner), "10 small startups got a grant of €50,000 at a local event - Eirvato was one of them" (luxinnovation.lu), etc. Of the coverage which does deal with the company as a primary topic, it is relatively ROTM business coverage (on funding/etc) similar to what we might expect for any other similar startup: "small company raises enough to pay 6 or 7 people for a year" (Irish Times) or "7-person company closes Blanchardstown office due to slow uptake in Ireland - moving instead to 1-person office in Luxembourg" (TheJournal and Fora.ie), etc. The claims to notability in the "recognition" section are incredibly weak: "company was one of 237 finalists (in 26 categories) that didn't win anything at a niche industry awards do" (GreenAwards.ie), "company was one of 1000+(?) others who applied and were selected for a proprietary label" (solarimpulse.com). The text of the article itself describes an otherwise ROTM small <10-person start-up company. Comparable to millions of such small companies globally. While it is great that the creating COI/SPA editor declared a connection, that doesn't override the fundamental notability concerns. (Frankly this is such a clear case that I'd have PROD'ed. I'd ask that the sources be weighed individually per WP:SIRS rather than as a group. Three stand apart from the accelerator/listing material, which I agree carries little weight: (1) the Irish Times piece is a full-length, bylined article in a national newspaper devoted solely to the company — it goes beyond the transaction to independently describe the product, target sectors and market context; (2) the Silicon Republic article is a dedicated editorial feature, not a reprinted announcement, selected and written by the outlet's editor with analysis of the company's model and strategic shift; (3) Fora/TheJournal published dedicated reporting on the company's strategic decisions, again with the company as the sole subject. That is multiple pieces of significant coverage, in independent national outlets, across several years — which is the WP:GNG/WP:NCORP threshold, even setting aside every routine item the nominator lists. The Recognition section was intended as verifiable fact, not as a notability claim, and I have no objection to trimming it. If consensus is nonetheless that WP:NCORP is not met today, I'd respectfully ask the closing administrator to consider draftify as an alternative to deletion: the company remains operational and the article can return through AfC if and when deeper coverage exists. ~~~~

Keep The article has been substantially improved since its nomination. The main change is the addition of a full-length contemporary review of the split single published in Maximum Rocknroll. Therefore, independent, reliable coverage of the release is now available. The current version now additionally documents the release's specific history, Duane Peters' involvement, as well as an independent mention in the Czech music publication Kids & Heroes. The international radio airplay of two-thirds of the songs was also documented, as it is noteworthy that songs from this release are still being played on the radio more than a decade later. Given that this is a 2004 underground punk release, much contemporary coverage is likely to have appeared in small print zines and specialist publications that are poorly digitized or not searchable today. The lack of other easily accessible, detailed reviews does not therefore necessarily mean that no further independent coverage exists. Nevertheless, the criterion of substantial coverage in an independent, reliable source, as defined in WP:NMUSIC, is now met; the article is now substantially better sourced than when nominated, and I think Keep is the appropriate outcome while further sourcing can still be sought. ◉wwwWiki◉ 03:55, 13 September 2026 (UTC)

Keep - There is substantial independent coverage of Shaan Patel in multiple reliable sources. Inc. has published several articles specifically about Patel, including coverage of his appearance on Shark Tank, his business Prep Expert, and its growth. Forbes has also profiled Patel and his work in entrepreneurship, while Business Insider has covered his background and career. These are more than passing mentions and provide significant coverage of Patel as an individual. Delete While neither of those are rationales for deletion, this is an odd one as the lion's share of coverage is from PC Gamer, which counts as a single source per WP:GNG despite making numerous articles about the game. It arguably got trivial coverage from literally every other website besides PC Gamer (their articles were mostly about the controversy surrounding the game rather than its content), and had no time to get more extensive coverage before being cancelled, so one can argue that it fails WP:GNG. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 01:23, 3 September 2026 (UTC)

1) The game has had coverage stretching over the course of a year, so "no long-term effect" is not true and it fulfills WP:SUSTAINED.

2) The article's size has nothing to do with whether it should be deleted, per WP:SURMOUNTABLE.

Weak delete as per above. Noting GameLuster would be what I'd consider unreliable if assessed at WP:VG/S, PC Gamer is the only source to have depth of coverage on what the game is and how it plays. So it's not notable as a release. But is it notable for its controversy? Most of the wide RS coverage from IGN, PCGamesN, Eurogamer and Gamespot seems to be relaying Steam posts from the developer. There's multiple controversies: including a content ban and the hiatus due to the developers' incarceration. That's somewhat WP:SUSTAINED, but it reads as a chain of announcement coverage for a troubled game. Sometimes cancelled games do meet WP:GNG, and I'd feel fine keeping this if there was more in-depth preview coverage independently describing what, in fact, the game was. Here is a list of sources that can be drawn from that provide in depth preview coverage of the game instead of focusing on the controversy. I will concede that the lions share of reporting does come from PC Gamer, and that the narrative was later taken over by headlines covering the developer's jailtime. However, I feel, especially for an indie game, this represents both broad in depth coverage from the games media describing the game itself. Furthermore, the fact that coverage of the game dates from 2022 to the present makes me feel this counts for WP:SUSTAINED

Keep I don't see the value in deleting this article. It's not misinformation, just currently lacking in detail. This is one of the last chances to document what will inevitably become lost media. Steam developer posts could be used as sources for deeper information if few articles from gaming media exist. But beyond documenting the drama and the lead developer's jail time. What this article really represents is a small, underserved genre of video games and the forms it takes now that it is far out of the mainstream. Focusing on the game design, aesthetics, and what we had before development rather than the controversy of the developer going to jail would provide much-needed substance. We gain nothing in deleting this article; all we do is lose what little evidence there was of its existence before it's even gone.

Edit: The breadth of the games industry (Kotaku, IGN, PC Gamer, Rock Paper Shotgun, Destructoid) has been writing articles on Fortune's Run for 3 years, drawing attention to the game and highlighting it as an important game to watch well before any of the developer's controversies surfaced. On PC Gamer alone, I count 8 articles by 3 separate journalists. This meets the requirements for WP:GNG and WP:SIGCOV as far as I am concerned. Neither WP:JUSTNOTABLE or WP:NOTBUILT are applicable reasons for this article's deletion, and the article's length has never been grounds for deletion. I believe that WP:HASPOT and WP:HASREFS both apply here. There are no rules being broken. This is an article documenting a notable artefact that drew attention from many sources that was unfortunately marred with a controversy that lead to it's eventual cancellation. This was not some small hobbyist project disappearing into the annals of itch.io this was an unlikely, ambitious, indie production; seen as 'the game to watch' by multiple journalists. Notable for fans of the immersive sim genre and a case study into indie game development, contemporary immersive sims of the 2020s, issues with steam publication, and the games industry as a whole. Arguments that the subject matter is "undeserved", overlooked and potentially will be "lost media" are not really policy arguments against deletion and reminiscent of arguments in WP:ATA. Neither is stating there's nothing to lose by keeping it which might as well be said of any article - notability and sourcing are the relevant threshold here, and as you yourself say, there is sadly "little evidence" of its existence as a game beyond the announcements and controversies to justify an article. There's no golden rule a game has to be released to be notable. Unreleased games can have articles if they satisfy WP:GNG as a topic, it's just the bar would be higher as WP:SIGCOV would not have much to talk about in depth. Here there's plenty to talk about and I can see why someone would vote a keep, but I think it's just a borderline case where only PC Gamer really had much to independently say about the 'game' part of the game. I simply cannot agree with the consensus to delete this article because it is short, or it was not covered enough, or because the game it is documenting failed to be released in its full planned capacity. PC Gamer, Kotaku, Rock Paper Shotgun, IGN. Essentially, the breadth of the games journalism industry. All large, notable, and reliable sources have covered this game. Whilst most focus on the developer's prison time as a noteworthy headline rather than focusing on the game and gameplay, as many wait for a full release before publishing a review, they all serve as plenty of evidence that the game was covered by multiple sources in a noteworthy capacity. Pairing this with the controversy over Valve's approval team refusing to release the game until they removed content warnings. This game is a notable case study about the games industry and the difficulties of independent development. There are smaller sources to look to for reviews, blogs and independent game journalists that take the time to talk about the game itself. Take this for example ^[1] or an example of PC gamer not directly qoting the developer ^[2]. I still cannot see why it is valuable to wipe this game from the record on account of the fact it is becoming lost media. Even just as an act of preservation, documenting this game serves as a time capsule for independent game development and the immersive sim genre in the 2020s. I don't think anything I said there applies to any of these three rules. This is neither about interest nor the effort of the original article author. Purely from an encyclopaedic context, documenting a dead game provides value and context to the games industry as a whole. This game has been written about from multiple sources going back as far as 2023. Whilst three years of gaming journalism might not seem notable to some, I believe striking this game from the record is unnecessary. These articles of deletion were started on faulty premises to begin with

I'm going to direct you to WP:HASPOT and WP:HASREFS because the core issue and the reason this was raised in the first place is because the article was short and the game was cancelled. Neither of these have ever been grounds for deletion. There is enough information and enough articles to provide a detailed summary of the game as it stood before its cancelation as well as a thorough coverage of its controversies. Whilst large swathes of the controversy can only be sourced by a single primary source and multiple secondary sources citing said primary source. There are reviews and overviews of the game's mechanics out there, ready to be quoted that can be used to turn this into a substantial article documenting a game before it was wiped from stores. 'get your own website' WP:BELONG isn't grounds here. 'I don't see the value' is a personal and subjective take that falls under WP:JUSTNOTABLE. And as far as it goes for the game being cancelled. That is also, rules as written, WP:NOTBUILT not applicable here. From back to front the nomination for this deletion is not only flawed, it is definitionally incorrect.

Three years of consistent journalism and review from multiple sources large and small should count for WP:SUSTAINED. It meets all of the requirements for WP:GNG and WP:SIGCOV and it is a single loud voice that has drawn attention to this game being removed for reasons that were either never stated or fundamentally flawed from the most charitable perspective.

Okay, so. Lets try not to make this personal. Yes. I made an account to protest the deletion of an article. These articles of deletion are in fact what finally made me decide to become a contributor. One of the first rules of articles of deletion is to "Assume good faith" and "Keep calm and civil" I am seeing a demonstration of neither from your reply. And threatening language isn't going to change that no matter how 'precarious' the ground I am standing on is.

I'm not refusing to listen. All of my posts and replies have been in direct response to what you have written providing counter arguments with links to the rules of deletion to back up my claims.

As for the direct falsehood you have decided to accuse me of, rather than listening to what I have to say. No. I did not make my account to "promote the game". It would be quite difficult to promote a game that isn't for sale, and the articles of deletion replies section is a poor avenue for advertising.

I'm here because I wanted to contribute, because I objected to the deletion of this article, because when it's deletion request was overturned I looked to contribute and properly document this game so information about it had a place to stay long after it was gone. I hoped to build some small corner of this encyclopaedia, same as any of you I would hope. I did not hope to be accused of being a shill, or a promoter, or whatever you chose to call me. Whether the article meets Wikipedia's notability requirements is the exact question under discussion. There is no other rule under question here, the goal posts have been moved enough as is to try and fit a conclusion that was made well before discussion. Yet still I believe this game does meet the requirements set out, based on sustained coverage from multiple independent publications, including healthy coverage of the game itself rather than only the later controversy.

Suggesting I make a Fandom wiki does not address the issue of sourcing and once again takes us right back to WP:BELONG. If you believe the sources cited do not satisfy WP:GNG or WP:SIGCOV, then please explain which sources you consider insufficient and why. Fair enough, I get that the Fandom comment was specifically about what I said about preservation. I agree that preservation alone is not a reason for keeping an article, and I should have separated that more clearly from my argument on notability.

My objection to deletion is that I believe the the article meets WP:GNG and WP:SIGCOV based on the coverage already discussed. I have read this discussion back to front, including the argument that PC Gamer is the only source providing substantial independent coverage, and that is the part I disagree with. It takes 5 minutes on google to see that to be false.

If the argument for deletion is that the other sources do not qualify as significant independent coverage, then that is the issue I think we should be discussing. Strong keep. Some years ago I created a number of stubs about islands; all of them pass WP:GEONATURAL as named natural features (islands) and all pass WP:GNG with multiple pieces of additional sourcing that meets WP:SIGCOV. All were made after being specifically evaluated as viable candidates for expansion to B-class or GA. Okay, that is the WP:UPPERCASE; onto the articles themselves. These island stubs, in basically every case, have strong potential for expansion. For example: Island No. 2 (currently a GA) started as this; Fox Island (also a GA) looked like this. The same (including GA passes) is true of Fordson Island (original version), Spud Island ( original version) and about a dozen others. Perhaps most relevantly, the current FA Powder House Island also began as a stub virtually identical to the ones here nominated. These are not mass-created database stubs; they are individual articles created after a specific evaluation of sourcing. Moreover, they were created some years ago, and Web searches have gotten considerably better in the intervening time, so I would estimate that they are now even easier to expand than they were at the time of their creation. Note that a rather large number of island articles I created have been nominated at the same time, to which the same considerations apply, so I will raise the same issues at each (would recommend a bundled nomination in the future to avoid this issue). jp×g 🗯️ 17:16, 16 September 2026 (UTC)

Page on a Swedish academic. I cannot find any evidence for a pass of WP:NPROF; the paper (ref 5) the author claims as an achievement has a total of 62 cites in Google Scholar which is not enough for notability. I cannot find any well cited papers in Google Scholar (except a few by others later), and Scopus has nothing on him. I've been able to find one of Hedström's obituaries, and he was evidently a prominent scholar in his field with some 50 scientific publications and a large number of assignments within various government inquiries, boards, and committees. Keep. Hedström is notable, not only through the discovery of Nebularine but also in his veterinary bacteriology studies. There are many verifiable sources showing that Hedström conducted research and made discoveries in multiple fields. Furthermore, it was previously assumed that he lacked enough publications to be notable, however it is important to acknowledge that notability does not rely on a raw number of publications, but rather the subject's impact. Fails WP:SUSTAINED. Also fails WP:PROMO in its current state. The article reads as one long puff piece extolling the virtues of Huang and Nvidia’s products. This fact aside, the topic itself has no sustained coverage or notability. The article cites only a single WP:RS, the Wall Street Journal (the other references are blogs or news aggregators), which has used the phrase “Huang’s Law” just one time in a single article (the very article which coined the phrase!). I cannot find any evidence of the use of the term or reference to the “law” in any third-party reliable source in the 6 years since 2020, when it was “coined”, let alone the “significant and lasting” coverage required to warrant an article. Even Nvidia seems to have given up on it, the last occurrence on their website being a 2023 blog post. This is in contrast to Moore’s Law which is widely discussed and has an extensive Wikipedia article dedicated to it, featuring the section Moore’s Law#Other formulations and similar observations in which dozens of equivalent or related statements (such as this one) are listed. The Wired article is not about the subject of this article. It defines “Huang’s Law” as being “As AI grows, so does Nvidia.” So this a completely different “law” than the one this article is about. The phrase “Huang’s Law” doesn’t even appear in the body of the magazine, only on the title page. There is however plently of discussion of Moore’s Law, quote:

You mentioned Moore’s law. Is it irrelevant now? Moore’s law is now much more of a systems problem than a chip problem. It’s much more about the interconnectivity of multiple chips. About 10, 15 years ago, we started down the journey of disaggregating the computer so that you could take multiple chips and connect them together. Which is where your acquisition of the Israeli company Mellanox comes in, in 2019. Nvidia said at the time that modern computing has put enormous demands on data centers and that Mellanox’s networking technology would make accelerated computing more efficient. Right, exactly. We bought Mellanox so that we could take an extension of our chip and make an entire data center into a super chip, which enabled the modern AI supercomputer. That was really about recognizing that Moore’s law has come to an end and that if we want to continue to scale computing we have to doit at data center scale. We looked at the way Moore’s law was formulated, and we said, “Don’t be limited by that. Moore’s law is not a limiter to computing.” We have to leave Moore’s law behind so we can think about new ways of scaling.

This article lacks citations that calls most of these quasi-entities states (a high threshold to meet). Keep. I may be biased in this, but I believe that this article should be kept. I understand that the previous article was horrendous, but this is a much more comprehensive article. Better researched, if I do say so myself. But I see the concerns about the lack of valid sources. If needed a column with sources for the start and end dates for the polities. In this definition I am mostly for keeping those countries that were brief rebellions, puppet states or states created purely for the purpose of annexation. Adding citations for start/end dates would be an improvement, but—like the previous article—you need reliable sources that confirm that these entities are states if you're including them on a "List of states". Additionally, it seems (from the deletion discussion) that research was not the only issue with the previous article. As they apply here:

WP:LISTN – There is a lack of independent reliable sources discussing "short-lived states" as a group or set.
WP:LISTCRITERIA – The criteria should be supported by reliable sources, and not be original research used to synthesize a list. That is, where does the article get its criteria for a "state" from? Is there any reason why it's different from the criteria found at List of states?

Keep I think these sources are good enough for WP:NLIST . Inclusion criteria for lists can be established via editorial judgment, the only thing necessary is that passage of the criteria is backed by reliable sources, and this page has 434 references that back its content.
