Greetings
Merry Christmas!

BOZ (talk) is wishing you a Merry Christmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user a Merry Christmas, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Don't eat yellow snow!
Spread the holiday cheer by adding {{subst:User:Flaming/MC2008}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. Feel free to take a "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" if you prefer. :) BOZ (talk) 00:17, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

Other RPG bios
If you have the inkling to help out with any more bios in draft space, I have a couple of dozen or so needing anywhere from a little to a lot of TLC: User:BOZ/Draft pages. BOZ (talk) 23:31, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
- My suggestion would be to start with Adam Jury or Chris Seeman - both were deleted as a result of AFD, and while I have been able to add a good source to both, they need just a little more before I would consider petitioning the community to have them fully restored. BOZ (talk) 16:05, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- If those don't excite you, I do know that you have been interested before in people from the early days of TSR. Maybe you would like to work on some articles I started recently, like Jeff Perren, Dave Megarry, or Eric Shook? :) BOZ (talk) 17:06, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
Jennell Jaquays
Oh no, it looks like Jennell Jaquays has died. :( BOZ (talk) 13:03, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

I missed this one, but apparently James Herbert Brennan died a few weeks ago. BOZ (talk) 12:51, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Horvath book on bios
Brilliant work adding content from Monsters, Aliens, and Holes in the Ground to Keith Parkinson, Kevin Long, Tim Bradstreet, Jeff Laubenstein, and especially all the work you did on Janet Aulisio. :) If you spot anything useable for any artists or designers that don't have articles let me know, they may have drafts and/or deleted articles, or they may need to have an article created. :) Laubenstein was once such an article that had been deleted until I restored it! BOZ (talk) 04:40, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
- Bill Spytma and Jason Eckhardt (the artist, not the composer). There may be more.Guinness323 (talk) 06:12, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
Greg Hildebrandt
I'm always wary of accepting Facebook posts for this sort of thing, but it looks like the other half of the Brothers Hildebrandt has died. BOZ (talk) 12:55, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
Tim Kask
Definitely a pioneer; it looks like Tim Kask has passed, although as usual we need better sourcing for that. BOZ (talk) 05:26, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, its on all of the RPG forums. Guinness323 (talk) 06:31, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
Dragon magazine reviews
K-k-k-eeping up with this, here is the next letter! A little longer than J, but L will be longer, and M will be a lot longer, but for right now here we are: Kafer Dawn (145), Kafer Sourcebook (145), The Kathol Rift (234), Kellar's Keep (168), KFZ.1 Kubelwagen: Volkswagen Type 82 (29), Killer Crosshairs (231), Kindred of the East (248), The Kingdoms of Kalamar (236), King of Chicago (214), Kingsport: The City in the Mists (186), KViSR Rocks! Hey! :) L-l-l-long overdue, but I started the following more than 3 years ago before we stalled out on this project in favor of working on other things. :) Here are the "L" articles: Land of the Free (Cyberpunk) (211), Lands of Mystery (124), Last Battle: Twilight 2000 (152), The Last Command Sourcebook (210), Last Frontier: The Vesuvius Incident (209), The Law of Darkness (165), LegendQuest (195), Libellus Sanguinis 1: Masters of the State (247), The London Guidebook (235), Loom of Fate (212), Lordly Domains (247), Lord of the Rings Adventure Game (184), The Lords of Chaos (50), Lords of Middle-earth, Volume I (127, 151), Lords of Middle-earth, Volume II (151) and Creatures of Middle-earth (151), Lords of the Expanse (243), The Lost Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci (234), Lost Trinity (233), Lycanthropes (Chill) (186). I made a list of all the "M" articles and m-m-m-maybe one day we will get back to those, but meanwhile here are these. :) BOZ (talk) 21:39, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Help!
- As you are making your way through the Horvath book, it looks like you are in the early 2000s, and a large percentage of the games listed at User:BOZ/Games deletions#Role-playing games are from that time; if you spot anything mentioned in that book, we can probably get it restored. :) BOZ (talk) 22:44, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, good to know. I'll keep my eyes open. Guinness323 (talk) 23:06, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- I cut the list down to remove all the non-English games, and a few others, which left the following for the early 2000s:

This one was a lot shorter than the early 2000s list of deleted RPGs. BOZ (talk) 08:53, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- There's only about 15 left, and none of them are on your list. Guinness323 (talk) 17:11, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- How about for
A Darkness Gathering? BOZ (talk) 05:16, 8 February 2025 (UTC) - I don't know if Society of Twentieth Century Wargamers is salvageable, but maybe? BOZ (talk) 13:59, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- There's one quick mention in a collection of essays, "War and Games", and used as a bibliographic source in "Encyclopedia of Play in Today's Society". One blog post says they were formed in 1987, and mentions that they published a printed Journal from 1989 to 2018. Then there was a reboot of the society, and a new Journal in 2022 that starts at Issue 1 again. They have what seems to be an active Facebook group, but impossible to see what they are chatting about -- private group. So all kinds of brief mentions and non-RS info, but nothing RS so far. - All KINDS of resources for both of them, unfortunately all TSR/WotC in-game resources. I have not (yet) been able to find any 3rd-party commentary on either of them.Guinness323 (talk) 20:47, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

BOZ (talk) 09:23, 15 April 2025 (UTC) - Skulduggery (role-playing game) was redirected for being unsourced but I restored it and added one; do you see anything more for this one? - I saw the AfD on this and tried to find other sources. There are copies for sale here and there, but I haven't found any reviews or mentions of it elsewhere. I wouldn;'t mind getting my hands on some copies of it though -- nothing but reviews. Guinness323 (talk) 16:39, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hoard of the Dragon Queen and The Rise of Tiamat were merged into a single article. I'm sure both of them have more than enough to stand on their own, but the question is would the series article have enough to exist if I split them back out? BOZ (talk) 12:22, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
Houses of the Bloodedwas redirected from here - do you see anything for that one? BOZ (talk) 05:31, 5 November 2025 (UTC)- Do you see anything for the novel

- How about
Arena of Blood? BOZ (talk) 07:41, 14 November 2025 (UTC)- Not much out there. I added a bit of stuff, is it enough to dePROD? Guinness323 (talk) 08:37, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
- Probably not, but it is a pretty minor thing if it's only ever been a magazine pullout so far. Might be good as a redirect somewhere, if we can see where to merge it. Plenty of magazine games became notable later, as you've seen and proven, but this one isn't there at this time. BOZ (talk) 15:24, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
- Not much out there. I added a bit of stuff, is it enough to dePROD? Guinness323 (talk) 08:37, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
- See anything for Wizards' World? Also,
Gentlemen's Agreement (Spycraft)was redirected (from here) even though it does have two reviews; do you see anything more for it? BOZ (talk) 00:13, 15 November 2025 (UTC)- Can't find any RS for Wizards' World, which is unfortunate since Drive-Thru RPG calls it "an important game in the history of fantasy RPGs." (Full quote: "Back in 1983 a small Californian game company, Fantasy Worlds Unlimited, released WIZARDS' WORLD, a fantasy RPG. The result of how the author's home game evolved, WIZARDS' WORLD included several innovations for its time, not unlike other efforts from the 80s, such as The Complete Warlock or The Palladium Fantasy RPG. WIZARDS' WORLD is an important game in the history of fantasy RPGs, because it reflects the design enthusiasm of the early 80s and is an interesting example of how many people at this time were taking inspiration from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. In many ways WIZARDS' WORLD might be what Second Edition could look like in an alternate universe." Guinness323 (talk) 07:52, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
One left over from a year ago. I'm not quite sure how the tags apply to Keléstia Productions, but do we have anything to improve that one? BOZ (talk) 06:21, 16 November 2025 (UTC)

- Also, Blade of Arcana, Capes, Cowls & Villains Foul,
Demon's Lair, GURPS Rogues, When Worlds Collide (role-playing game) in case you see anything for them. BOZ (talk) 10:44, 19 November 2025 (UTC)- Add one more to that list today: El-Hazard Role-Playing Game. BOZ (talk) 23:15, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- All pretty obscure indie RPGs -- was only able to find some info on Demon's Lair, sorry. Guinness323 (talk) 22:08, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
- By the way, if you were having as much trouble as I was with Internet Archive... it SEEMS to be working better now. We will see! BOZ (talk) 19:09, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- See anything for Epic Battles? BOZ (talk) 06:20, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- Only one minor mention in a "What's New" magazine column. Guinness323 (talk) 08:30, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- Since apparently Abyss did a lot of periodicals coverage, keep an eye out for anything listed at User:BOZ/Games deletions#Magazines. :) BOZ (talk) 07:50, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
- None of those yet but I still have 20 issues to read. Guinness323 (talk) Guinness323 (talk) 07:58, 13 December 2025 (UTC)

Oathbound: Domains of the Forgeafter finding four reviews for it, but do you see anything more? BOZ (talk) 16:43, 25 December 2025 (UTC) - I restored
Nanofictionarywith one review and one book source, but do you see anything more? BOZ (talk) 14:54, 28 December 2025 (UTC) - I restored Peter Olotka (co-creator of Cosmic Encounter) yesterday with several new sources, in case you see anything more for him. :) He had a lot more in his resume than I was expecting! BOZ (talk) 21:13, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- How about I Vant to Bite Your Finger and Quicksand (board game)? BOZ (talk) 07:13, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- On the road for a couple of days, I'll check them out when I get back. Guinness323 (talk) 16:57, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- In addition to Quicksand, do you see anything for Border Reivers (game)? BOZ (talk) 07:59, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- Was not able to find anything about Quicksand (not helped by its generic name), and not a mention about Border Reivers, probably explained by a Community comment on BGG that Jackson Pope hand-produced only 300 copies of the game. Jackson Pope himself posted that the last 6 copies of the game were sold at UK Games Expo, and although there had been some interest from a publisher to print more copies, he had no plans to print a second run. Guinness323 (talk) 20:11, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- How about for David Kenzer? BOZ (talk) 15:26, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

- How about
BuyWordor Imperial Commander? BOZ (talk) 10:55, 22 January 2026 (UTC)- Can't find much about Imperial Commander, or for that matter, its precedent, LaserBurn. It's British, and was a small book of SF wargame rules published by the short-lived TableTop Games. There's a good review, but it is a blog, so not RS.Guinness323 (talk) 08:24, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- How about for Mike McVey, Micro Armour: The Game – WWII, or Brian Williams (illustrator)? BOZ (talk) 15:02, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
- I've added what I could find about McVey, but was not able to find anything about Micro Armour: The Game – WWII (although I did find some articles about Micro Armour miniatures produced by GHQ, so I might put something together about that), nor Brian Williams. Conquest of Pangea? BOZ (talk) 06:40, 4 February 2026 (UTC) - How about for
Here There Be Tigers (Danger International)? BOZ (talk) 07:02, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
Several Cheapass Games articles were recently redirected, however I'm not convinced that all of those are non-notable. For example, some already had two reviews located, including Unexploded Cow (Pyramid review:), Witch Trial, and Captain Park's Imaginary Polar Expedition. And then Fightball, Freeloader, Renfield, The Very Clever Pipe Game, One False Step for Mankind (Pyramid review:), Save Doctor Lucky, and Deadwood all had one review listed, so that's at least a start right? Aside from those recent redirections, previous redirections included unsourced articles Bitin' Off Hedz, Get Out, and Huzzah!, and also Bleeding Sherwood was deleted by PROD. That is a lot, but none of them are going anywhere so there is no rush, but anything you can find to fix any of those up would be amazing. BOZ (talk) 15:25, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
- Working on a couple of things, but I will get stuck into this when I can.Guinness323 (talk) 06:26, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

- Not ignoring you, I have a number of real-world quests to fulfill... Guinness323 (talk) 02:05, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
A better year
- Of course you noticed I was going through the handful of issues of Backstab that I found online, and one thing I noticed is that there is a high rate of games reviewed in that publication and Pyramid, so I had been creating a few articles that cross-referenced between the two, and I did a few more today, and that should be all for now:
Cyberpirates!,The Book of the Shadowlands: The Writings of Kuni Mokuna,Kabbalah: Mythic Judaism,Star Trek: The Next Generation Narrator's Toolkit. BOZ (talk) 20:34, 27 August 2021 (UTC) - I finished GI #3 today, and boy did I start a lot of new articles! Monday is a US holiday so next week I decided to just focus my one day at home that week on Computer Gaming World instead, so I will be doing issue #4 two weeks from today, which should yield a lot fewer articles. :) New ones today are: Orgy (game), Mr. Trucker, Bewitched (board game), Insider Dealing (board game), Schoko & Co., Slick!,
Mr. President (board game), Campaign Trail: The Game of Presidential Elections, Who Can Beat Nixon?, Presidential Campaign (board game), Election (board game),West of Alamein,Gulf Strike (board game),War of 1812 (board game),Team Yankee (board game), Pilots' Almanac, Castles of Harn, The Staff of Fanon, Realm of Chaos: Slaves of Darkness. Whew! I need a vacation. ;) BOZ (talk) 20:12, 2 September 2021 (UTC) - Today, I did the last two Backstab/Pyramid articles for now - at least until I get around to translating the titles of the many other books they reviewed to see if I can compare them. ;) That means:
The Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource BookandThe Way of the Phoenix. By the way, both magazines did a lot of Legend of the Five Rings RPG books, so I will be expanding that sooner or later! BOZ (talk) 19:55, 3 September 2021 (UTC) - The things I would never have found if I weren't using my time to go through all the games deletions thoroughly! I restored a redirected article on Origins Award winner
Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steellast week, and today I restoredWargods of Ægyptusafter a PROD. I am going to double check later on to make sure there are no other Origins winners on my list that should never have been deleted! I figure if something won an award, there is bound to be other coverage for it out there... BOZ (talk) 17:36, 13 September 2021 (UTC) - Back at it as promised! Games International #4 is done, which means I am 1/4 of the way finished with this magazine already. :) A short run, but lots of reviews - today, I started: Maloney's Inheritance, The Golf Game: Par Excellence, Wicketz, The Metric Mile,
Ancients (board game), Tokyo Express: The Guadalcanal Naval Campaign – 1942, Desert Falcons (board game), The Campaigns of Robert E. Lee, Test of Arms. BOZ (talk) 18:25, 16 September 2021 (UTC) - Got issue #5 done today, and will do the next issue next week Thursday. :) Today's new ones are: First Past the Post (board game),
Circus Imperium, Deal Me In (board game), Pole Position (board game), The Peninsular War 1808-14, The Last Hurrah (Advanced Squad Leader), Tales From The Ether, Calandia Guidebook. BOZ (talk) 18:19, 20 September 2021 (UTC) - I found two more in Backstab #12 that were also reviewed in Pyramid, so I started Safari Jack and
No Man's Land (Call of Cthulhu). BOZ (talk) 22:52, 21 September 2021 (UTC) - I have been working on translating those titles. :) Backstab issue #15 brought me several more that also had reviews in Pyramid:
The Way of the Scorpion, Abduction (card game), The Way of War (miniatures rules), Walking the Way: The Lost Spells of Rokugan, Cry-Star: First of the Free. That leaves two more issues of Backstab that I have access to, so I will work on those probably some time next week. :) BOZ (talk) 18:49, 24 September 2021 (UTC) - One more of those today from Backstab #19: Victory: World War II. I only have one more copy of Backstab to go that I have access to, so I will probably look through that one tonight and/or tomorrow to see if there are any more like these. :) BOZ (talk) 18:40, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- OK, one last one of these for the foreseeable future, from Backstab #24! I made Clan War out of an existing redirect. As you can see at User:BOZ/Backstab there are many red and blue linked articles, from just the 15 articles that I have access to at archive.org, but these remaining ones can be addressed at some far future point! :o BOZ (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- I got through Games International #6 today and started these: Ave Caesar (board game), New York, New York (game), Maestro (board game), City (board game), Targui, Breakaway Rider*, Triumph (board game), Checkmath, Onslaught (board game), [1], The Emperor Returns, The Fourth Succession War Military Atlas Volume 1, Stardemon. Next issue probably next week Monday unless plans change! :) BOZ (talk) 19:37, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- I did issue #7 today, which yielded these: Share Mania, The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game (which was restored after AFD), Oppression (board game), Quadromania, Axiom (game), Stack (board game), Conklin's Atlas of the Worlds. More next Thursday! :) BOZ (talk) 18:02, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
I'm taking a break for now on creating new articles, but I recently restored the long-ago redirected Fire in the East as there was a review for it. :) BOZ (talk) 10:18, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- I restored
Talisman Timescapetoday because I did find one review for it, so hopefully there is more. BOZ (talk) 17:43, 11 November 2021 (UTC) - It was suggested to me that unsourced redirected articles on older games Password (game) and
Blitzkrieg (game)should merit articles, so I moved them to draft. If you find anything then great, otherwise I will move them back to redirects. :) BOZ (talk) 14:26, 20 November 2021 (UTC) - I am hoping to be able to get back to work on Games International again starting next week! :) BOZ (talk) 21:59, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
OK, here we go, I managed to get issue #8 for Games International completed, which means we are halfway done with this magazine. :) I may or may not continue with these weekly, we will see. All the red links below are in draft space for now. Anyway, today I started these: International Cricket (board game), Topple (game), Jump the Queue, MBT (board game), Fight for the Sky, Ace of Aces: Wingleader, 8th Army (board game), Tales of the Loremasters, Quelbourne: Land of the Silver Mist, Journey to the Magic Isle, Demons of the Burning Night. BOZ (talk) 19:48, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
- If you spot anything that might have been reviewed in Phoenix (or anywhere else) at User:BOZ/Games deletions#Board and miniatures games let me know and I will restore it. :) BOZ (talk) 20:59, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
- I've been keeping a list of Phoenix reviews where a wiki doesn't exist. Will compare that to your list. Guinness323 (talk) 21:52, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
- GI #9 is completed! As before, red links are in drafts, and here are the new ones created today: Can't Stop Express, Thomas the Tank Engine Game, Liar's Dice (Milton Bradley),
High-Bid, Ea$y Money, Excalibur (board game),Turning Point: Stalingrad, Arnhem Bridge (board game), Modern Naval Battles, Deception at Dasa, Tredroy. BOZ (talk) 01:20, 15 December 2021 (UTC) - Hey there! :) I have only been working on the magazines while working from home (or having days off at home), which has generally meant once a week if at all for the past 6 months or so. However, we got word last week that the office would be closed for at least 3 weeks, so starting this week I am home every day for now. :) My original goal before getting sidetracked was to get GI done before the end of the year; I doubt I have enough days at home to make that happen, but starting tomorrow I will get as far as I can and then finish it at the beginning of the year. :) I think the next magazine or two will be one that focuses on more familiar territory with fewer reviews so I am not creating so many new ones! I am leaning towards Different Worlds currently, or maybe Adventurer, but we will see.
- I lied - I did GI #10 today instead of tomorrow. ;) I started (or brought back) 1853 (board game), Counter Intelligence (board game), Hookipa (board game), ASG Baseball, Clue Quest, Tomorrow the World (board game), Soldier's Companion, Light Division (board game), Hitler's Last Gamble, Dungeoneer, Backgammon (1988 video game). BOZ (talk) 22:13, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- I got through GI #11 today, and I started these: Full Metal Planète, Traber Derby Spiel, A la carte (game), Favoriten (board game), Chaos In Kansas, School of Hard Knocks (GURPS), Vessel Compendium 1: Adventurer Class, Vessel Compendium 2: Pursuit Class, Briarwood Castle, Big Bang (video game), Go-Moku / Renju. BOZ (talk) 19:29, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
- I finished GI #12 today, definitely fewer new creations this time: Echelon (board game), Death By Diet, Temple of the Beastmen,
Europe Aflame, Usuthu! The Battle Of Rorke's Drift 1879, Troll Gods. I may or may not be working on the next issue tomorrow - if not, definitely next week! BOZ (talk) 17:28, 22 December 2021 (UTC)
Moving right along to GI #13 and my mad quest to try to get to the end this week! ;) Today, I started Liftoff!, Chamelequin, Clubhouse Baseball, How to Launch Your Own Board Game*, 5th Fleet: Modern Naval Combat in the Indian Ocean, The Siege of Jerusalem, Starfire (role-playing game), Panzer Battles (video game), Head Coach v3, Pro Football Simulation. BOZ (talk) 19:46, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

Have a happy New Year! :) BOZ (talk) 19:00, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Hey there! :) To start the year off with, I decided to finish off the reviews from The Games Machine that I had not touched from earlier. I understand there are a number of mini-reviews in the magazine, and I will come back to those eventually. My play for the meantime is to go through Different Worlds and its 47 issues. I have perused most of the issues so far to get a feel for it, and this will be the first magazine I go through where the majority of review subjects already have articles. :) The first 10 issues had much fewer reviews than most of the issues after that, so this week I will try to get through the first 10 issues, but after that I will switch to one or two issues per week. My office is still closed this week, and no idea when we will reopen, so with any "extra" time I am going to resume the rather lengthy project of User:BOZ/Pyramid. :) After finishing DW, we will see where I go from there! :) BOZ (talk) 17:57, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
- OK, I got through the first 10 issues of DW, easy-peasy. In a total of 18 reviews among them, only one required a new article, so I started a draft for Promotions and Prizes. :) Issues #11 and #12 definitely have more reviews, so I will be doing those on a one-at-a-time basis for now, or in a few cases two or three issues at a time. My office is officially closed until further notice, so if I run out of side projects while working at home I may do these on more than one day per week, but for now that will not be necessary. It feels good to not be creating very many new articles for a while! :) The magazine also started reviewing movies and books after a while, so not all of my new creations will be for games, but I will just let you know about new games articles here! BOZ (talk) 18:53, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- Doing more work on the Pyramid list, there are definitely more crossover with Backstab, but so far I have only started
The Way of the Wolf, Eisen (7th Sea), Aberrant: Year One, Hunter: Survival Guide, Mokolé, and Horrors of the Z'Bri - maybe more soon, maybe more later. ;) BOZ (talk) 02:38, 9 January 2022 (UTC) - Just two more of those Pyramid/Backstab crossovers for the foreseeable future!: Further Information and Aberrant Worldwide Phase II. BOZ (talk) 20:28, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- I went back to DW today, where the issues generally begin featuring much larger review sections than the first ten, and issue #11 yielded only one new game article: The Tombs of Valla. BOZ (talk) 18:47, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- I did issues #12 & 13 today, and started a draft for City of Valla. BOZ (talk) 17:30, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- From issue #14, I started Sea-Steeds and Wave Riders today. BOZ (talk) 17:25, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
Long hiatus temporarily interrupted. :) I realized earlier this week that I had missed The Keep (board game) while working on Imagine, so I created a draft for it - actually, I had incorrectly identified it as a review for the RPG adventure also published by Mayfair, but it was correctly pointed out to me that this review was actually for the board game, so I rectified that situation. :) BOZ (talk) 17:56, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
I've been doing a little with White Wolf magazine - actually I've gotten all the way up through issue #22 which you may have noticed. :) I have started several new articles, mostly on PBM games, although not long ago I started Melos Caverna () and today I got one for a series called Tribes (). :) I'm not sure how long I will go on with WW, but it may last a while! I've started most new articles that I would have started already up through issue #25, but once I get past that point I may be starting a bunch of them. BOZ (talk) 20:44, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Is there an on-line resource for White Wolf? Guinness323 (talk) 00:21, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'm definitely rolling along on White Wolf, and will be starting many more articles as I go. :) I figure I will post them all here, and you can work on any that catch your attention as you please, and the rest I will just grab your attention if anyone tries to delete them. Meanwhile, I have already started the ones I've mentions above, as well as
Twilight Encounters() and Red Empire (game) (). :) BOZ (talk) 17:33, 12 October 2024 (UTC) - As expected, definitely started a bunch of new ones yesterday:

- Now that I'm done with White Wolf, I find myself wanting to finish up with Different Worlds (which I interrupted in 2022 to deal with my CCI case) and then Arcane (which I interrupted in 2020 because I was under stress from another user who shall not be named) and then move on to some other publications that I have access to. :) This will keep me busy for at least a few more years to come, which is a good thing. :) Different Worlds won't result in anywhere near as many new articles as White Wolf did, but if you like then I will still report those to you so you can see if you would like to work on any of them, or in case any of them come up for deletion. I had no idea there would be so many new creations involved with White Wolf, but then again I guess we had a weak spot that needed better coverage so it was worth it. :) BOZ (talk) 20:22, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
- Always happy to see the work you've done and help when I have time... Guinness323 (talk) 21:03, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
OK, after a long 3-year hiatus, I am back to finish up going through Different Worlds. :) Looking back at where I left off, I only got through issue #14 at that time, so I am back on it now and rolling right along! Not every issue involves new game articles, largely because we have already started most of them from this period through working on Space Gamer, White Dwarf, Dragon and others, but there will definitely be some here and there - far far fewer than what we had with White Wolf though, I assure you! :) For starters, we had The Enchanted Wood (DragonQuest) from issue #18 and I will let you know what else we get and when in case you want to work on any of them. :) BOZ (talk) 22:36, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- I will not be online much for the next ten days -- vacation! Guinness323 (talk) 00:10, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- See what I mean about far fewer new articles - the next one is Star Port Module Number One: The Hotel Complex from issue #27. BOZ (talk) 21:15, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
- Not back yet -- I managed to get in a few edits in the hotel room, but won't be back up to usual speed until the weekend. Guinness323 (talk) 01:44, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
- Issue #28 resulted in Warrior (Archaeron). :) BOZ (talk) 17:48, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- From issue #30, I created The Forest-Lords of Dihad and The Warrior-Lords of Darok. BOZ (talk) 17:48, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

BOZ (talk) 22:20, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
- And finally, here we are, with issue #20! :) I started working on Arcane back in June 2019, worked my way slowly through the first half of it, and stopped in January 2020 after a prolonged harassment campaign, picked it back up last month at a much quicker pace (lots of work!) and I'm already done! This final issue resulted in articles for Firestorm: Stormfront, Isle of the Mighty, Of Gods and Men (role-playing game), The Quick & The Dead, Kithbook: Sluagh, Emperor's Arsenal, Mob War!, Warzone: Beasts of War, Through the Glass Darkly (Nightbane), BattleTech: Counterstrike, Diablerie (sourcebook), Rifts World Book 13: Lone Star, Dicemaster: Doom Cubes, Traveller Game Screen, and, Beyond the Pale (Mutant Chronicles). :) I'm going to Disneyland! BOZ (talk) 21:55, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
So then, what is next? :) The plan is to do all 6 issues of Fantasy Gamer next, and all told that should take me less than 2 weeks to finish (maybe even just one week), largely because nearly all of those games reviewed already have article. I have another project right now that will take me a week or so to finish, but I will get to FG immediately after. Next after that? I am thinking Pyramid - no, not the hundreds or thousands of reviews that we only have snippets up, but the magazine version that we have maybe 25-30 issues of, published from 1993 to 1998, of which I had done the first six. After that, I am thinking Pegasus and Adventurer. That all may keep me busy through the end of the year. After that, we will see! :) Regardless, I am fairly sure that I am all done (for anytime soon) of the magazines with huge review columns for each issue, at least of those which had many new articles to create. Yes, Casus Belli and Backstab did have big review columns, but I am not going to go through those the same way because translating is less fun. :D I may still start stubs here and there based on those magazines, but I will see where I go and what I do. BOZ (talk) 01:10, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
- I got through the first issue today, and created
Treasure of Unicorn Gold. :) Most of these issues have few or no new articles for me to create, but I will report all here as I go! :) BOZ (talk) 21:18, 22 August 2025 (UTC) - I did issue #2 today and started Goblin (board game) (redirected), and Agent of Death. :) BOZ (talk) 19:56, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
- Issue #3 had a lot fewer reviews, but I was still able to start one for important book Shared Fantasy: Role Playing Games as Social Worlds. :) BOZ (talk) 18:35, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
- From issue #4, I started The Armory's Buyers Guide to Fantasy Miniatures and The Palladium Book of Weapons and Assassins. :) BOZ (talk) 19:00, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
- Almost done already. :) From issue #5, I started
Nightmare House, Creatures Fair & Fell, and The Tavern (accessory). :) BOZ (talk) 18:59, 28 August 2025 (UTC) - And, wrapping it up today with issue #6, I started Middle Passage (board game)! :) I will hope to start on Pyramid maybe towards the end of next week or the week after that. BOZ (talk) 18:09, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
I restarted with Pyramid today, and not every issue will have new articles to create. I did the first 6 issues a few years ago, and the magazine went up through issue #30, although four issues are sadly not available on the SJ website so probably not available anywhere unless someone makes scans of the actual paper magazines one day. I will keep you updated here for the next few weeks of course. :) BOZ (talk) 19:22, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- Worth noting from issue #9, I started Australian Rails and Traveller Navigator today. :) BOZ (talk) 18:13, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
- Issue #10 today yielded Forgotten Futures II: The Log of the Astronef. :) BOZ (talk) 18:04, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- I created Tales of Gargentihr today from issue #11. :) As glad as I am to have gotten through White Wolf and Arcane with their huge review sections, working on these with fewer reviews (and most articles already created) is so much more relaxing. :D BOZ (talk) 23:55, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- And issue #12 brings us Walker in the Wastes today. :) BOZ (talk) 19:23, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- And for issue #13 that gives us Hunters from the Sky. :) BOZ (talk) 18:14, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- For #14, today I started an article for the card game Video Fighter: Dragons of Fury. :) BOZ (talk) 16:17, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- From issue #15 today I started Khaotic. :) BOZ (talk) 17:42, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- I worked on issue #16 today, which yielded Medieval France (White Rose Publishing) and Yom Kippur: The Battle for the Sinai, October, 1973. :) BOZ (talk) 15:19, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- I did #17 and started Monster Derby today. :) BOZ (talk) 18:37, 19 September 2025 (UTC)
- For issue #18 today I started Total Attack!! Soccer and Tactical Command. :) BOZ (talk) 18:40, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
- Getting through #19 today, I started RoboRally: Armed and Dangerous and Armati: Rules and Lists for Ancient, Medieval & Renaissance Wargaming. :) BOZ (talk) 17:35, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- The next couple of issues gave us no new articles, but issue #22 gave us Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage and Stealth: The Game. :) BOZ (talk) 18:28, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- And... that was over with quicker than I expected! :) The remaining issues introduced no new articles, or I simply do not have access to several of them (samples for 4 issues are not on the SJG website), except for the final issue which did review the novel Pierced Heart so there is that. :) After this, I am going to create some stubs related to games reviewed in Backstab, and after that the plan is to pick back up with Pegasus magazine. :) BOZ (talk) 18:09, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your wok on this. Guinness323 (talk) 21:35, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Here we go, I got through the first couple of issued of Pegasus, which yielded Skinwalkers & Shapeshifters and The Necromican. This one may not last long at all, as many of the issues will not result in new game-related articles created. BOZ (talk) 18:52, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- Several issues without any new tabletop game articles, but issue #8 got us Beasts, Men & Gods. :) BOZ (talk) 21:27, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Well that was uneventful - I finished all 12 issues and that was all the new games articles there were. :D I should be jumping to Adventurer next week, which might go even quicker! :o BOZ (talk) 20:01, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
I started Adventurer today, and that should be more new articles than Pegasus, but still not a ton. :) With the first issue, I started Fluffy Quest. BOZ (talk) 18:42, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- One more today - with issue #2, I started Organized Crimes. :) BOZ (talk) 19:31, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
- I did issue #3 and 4 today, which resulted in Sorcerer King. :) BOZ (talk) 20:00, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
- I worked on issue #5 today and started Vengeance of Dracula and Phantasie (game). :) BOZ (talk) 18:45, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Got back on it with issue #6 today and started Rolemaster Companion, Phantom of the Northern Marches, and Conquest of Space (game). :) BOZ (talk) 21:20, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- From issue #8, I started Creature Creation today. :) BOZ (talk) 21:04, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
- From issue #9, I started The ElfQuest Boardgame today. :) BOZ (talk) 19:55, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
- I did issue #11 today, so all done with Adventurer! :) I created Car Wars Expansion Set 9, Muskogee Fairground & Family Emporium, Combat Showcase, The Art of the Dragonlance Saga, and Faerie Mound of Dragonkind. I am pondering which publication I will go with next, most likely Polyhedron. I think I will take a short break first though to catch up on some other things. :) BOZ (talk) 19:34, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
I've been going through the RPGnet and RPGgeek indexes of Abyss, just to see if I could add stubs here and there that we might still be missing. I did see that it had reviews listed for Ogre in issue #13 as well as Swords & Sorcerers and also that Thieves' Guild 4 was reviewed in issue #17 and there was supposedly a GW card game called "Warlord" reviewed in the same issue, but I couldn't find any additional information about such a game. BOZ (talk) 14:07, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
- I didn't mention it last time, but we have a book called "Tome of Treasures" reviewed in #14, but I haven't seen any information on that one aside from its RPGnet page. Reviewing other fanzines - how clever. ;) I started the DragonLords article several years ago so you added the review from issue #18, but I'm not going to start anything for Phantasy, Quasits and Quasars, and The Stormlord without a second source - maybe one day!
A Call of Cthulhu review in #19 titled "Breakfast in R'lyeh"? Tasty. :)Middle Seareviewed in #20 along with one forChampionsand some more fanzines that we don't have articles for . OK, will continue with more later! If you've already looked into any of these, or were just saving them to work on later then cool. :) BOZ (talk) 13:20, 22 February 2026 (UTC)- I created
Arduin Treasure PakandThe Palladium Book of Weapons & Armourwhich were reviewed in issue #17. BOZ (talk) 00:07, 7 March 2026 (UTC) - That's wild, so the Ogre review in issue #13 was for Ogre (magazine) rather than the classic Ogre miniatures game? BOZ (talk) 04:59, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- @BOZ Yes. I happened upon a second review while reading up on it, so I created an article. Guinness323 (talk) 05:21, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- I created
- I went through a few more issues. Abyss #21 review for the Olympus fanzine if we can get a second source
and Trollpak had a review, and the Games in View column had reviews forDuel Arcane,Infinity, and something called Alchemists Abode: Abyss #22 had reviews for magazines Ringwraith's Shadow and Red Giant, and novel The Beast by Robert Lester Stallman, if we get more sources about any of those: and possibly some more short reviews for Dragonlords and Ysgarth as noted here:Abyss #23 had book reviews for The Hanging Stones, and if we can find more sources for The Destroyers of Lan-Kern (by Peter Berresford Ellis), and The Lost Prince and King Chondos' Ride (by Paul Edwin Zimmer), as well as magazines The Explorer and Weirdbook, and an RPG accessory called The Castle of Ramoth: BOZ (talk) 13:34, 5 March 2026 (UTC)- The Hanging Stones -- ironically I created this wiki after reading the review in Abyss 23. Then I forgot to put the Abyss review in the article. Thanks for the reminderGuinness323 (talk) 17:13, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
- I looked at a few more. Issue #24 had reviews for magazines Wyrmfire, The Phantasy Network Newsletter, and Netherworld Continuum if we can find reviews for them as well as RPGs Droids and Heroes of Olympus. Issue #25 had reviews for magazines Moonscape and Night Voyages and RQ supplement Big Rubble: The Deadly City. Issue #26 had reviews for books in the Red Sonja series, and Kane reprints if we can find more reviews for them. BOZ (talk) 22:53, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
