The 2022 South Dakota Public Utilities Commission election was held on November 8, 2022, to elect one of three members of the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission. Incumbent Republican Chris Nelson was re-elected to a second full term in office, defeating Democratic challenger Jeffrey Barth in a landslide.[1]
